The result is a very tasty dish, which even those who, in principle, refuse to eat offal, will not refuse. The main secret is that the product cooks quickly and does not overcook. Therefore it remains juicy and tender.

You can create the most ordinary frying with a huge amount of onions, or flavor it with sour cream or mayonnaise, in addition getting a tasty gravy. The liver can be served with a side dish for dinner, or as a main dish for lunch. My recipes will help you navigate and choose the best one.

Fried chicken liver with onions - step-by-step recipe

The most common option for frying offal, but despite the ease of production, I consider it more successful.

  • Chicken liver – 500 gr.
  • Big onion.
  • Flour – 2 huge spoons.
  • Sunflower oil – 4 huge spoons.
  • Pepper, salt.

Carefully wash the product and leave it in a colander to drain all the liquid. If you have time, soak the pieces in milk for 20 minutes, the liver will be much more tender.

Peel off the films, divide the pieces in half if you get large ones, but do not make them too small. Be sure to dry with cardboard towels.

Add salt and roll in flour.

I have my own secret for quick deboning. I put several pieces in a container filled with flour, close the lid tightly and shake well (look at the photo). Then the flour is moderately distributed over the surface of the pieces, and the process goes much faster.
