Lubricate its surface with mayonnaise (you can usually take an egg or its mixture with water or milk, you can grease the pie with butter or sour cream).

Bake the honeysuckle pie at 180 degrees for about half an hour, using your own oven as a guide. When the surface is browned, the pie is ready. The berry inside will still flow out of the pie, deliciously soaking its sole, the main thing is to make sure that it does not burn. Cool the cake slightly in the pan and, using a spatula, remove it to a plate.

Cool the pie and cut into portions.

A cooled pie cuts very well, and berry juice will flow out of the roast when cutting.

Honeysuckle Pie. Home Recipes

Do you think that “rejuvenating” fruits and berries are only found in parables? But no. In fact, you can meet them too. For example, a small oblong blue berry, the name of which was formed from two fundamental words for a person: “life” and “youth”. It turned out - honeysuckle. Simple and clear. This berry contains an important and quite rare microelement that is responsible for the condition of our skin, hair, nails, the normal functioning of organs and the health of the entire body as a whole - selenium. The substance is called the “elixir of life and youth” because of its numerous necessary parameters.

What kind of berry is this anyway?

Honeysuckle is a promising product not only for Russia, but also for all CIS countries (the Commonwealth of Independent States is a regional international organization (international treaty) designed to regulate cooperative relations between states that were formerly part of the USSR) . Unknown to society ten years ago, these days it is becoming popular in the market. Even experienced doctors often recommend that clients eat berries, because they are a storehouse of essential vitamins and microelements. Having studied the biochemical composition of honeysuckle in detail, scientists concluded that it is irreplaceable in dietary and therapeutic nutrition. It contains a lot of organic acids: oxalic, citric, malic, succinic. Also essential sugars and P-active polyphenols. The berry is rich in magnesium and phosphorus, calcium and potassium, iodine and sodium.

Honeysuckle Pie

Honeysuckle pie is an unsurpassed recipe, simple and easy. Usually there is no housewife for whom it does not work the first time. The main advantage of baking is its sweet and sour taste, which makes it unique and popular. And the airiness, softness and nutritional value of the pie will appeal to all gourmets and gourmands. It’s not for nothing that the dessert is called “royal pastry” - it mixes the dough and the inside so successfully that you’ll simply lick your fingers.

Main ingredients

Very few of them will be useful. To knead the dough, you need to prepare about 800 grams of ordinary flour. It must be first grade, without lumps and various additives. You should also purchase compressed yeast - for baking we use 1 tablespoon of the product. In addition, you will need sugar - 75-100 grams, milk or drink - 2.5 cups, unrefined vegetable oil - half a glass, a little salt. Some housewives also add baking powder or a pinch of soda to the dough. In principle, they will not be superfluous, but it is possible to do without them. As for the oil, specifically unrefined oil is taken for production due to its nutritional and necessary parameters.

The honeysuckle pie also includes a berry filling. Therefore, you need to go to the market or hypermarket in search of this product. Honeysuckle is sometimes difficult to find on store shelves, but still it is not so unique these days. Buy half a kilogram of berries. The entrails also contain 200 grams of sweet sand – so don’t forget about that. Once all the ingredients are collected on your countertop, you can begin the most basic part - kneading the dough and making the inside.

Making a pie

Let's start with the test. Take the flour and carefully sift it through a sieve. Add salt and sugar to it. Dissolve compressed yeast in a glass of milk or kefir, add a spoonful of sugar to it, mix well and leave for 5 minutes. After the mixture has risen well, carefully pour it into the flour. And at the very end, add vegetable oil and the remaining milk product. Mix the resulting mass until smooth. If the dough is not elastic enough, add a little flour to it. Then cover with a napkin and leave on the table for half an hour.

Layer cake with honeysuckle

Another exciting recipe. Its highlight is that the honeysuckle pie is prepared on the basis of puff pastry and with the addition of cream. To begin with, you will need 300 grams of ordinary puff pastry. It can be prepared independently, but if time is short, it is better to purchase it. The store-bought version is no worse than the homemade one, and it also saves a lot of precious minutes and your energy. After you have obtained the puff pastry, you need to roll it out and place it on the oiled bottom of the baking dish. Place the dough in an oven preheated to 200º and bake it there for 10 minutes. Cool.

Sand "option"

A good recipe, especially for those who, for whatever reason, do not like puff pastry or yeast dough. To make a sand base you will need: 300 grams of plain flour, 150 grams of butter, 100 grams of sugar, one egg, a tablespoon of sour cream, half a packet of baking powder, a little salt. As for the inside, stock up on the following ingredients: 300 grams of honeysuckle, 250 grams of sour cream, 100 grams of sugar, 2 eggs, a bag of vanilla sugar and 2 tablespoons of starch. When everything is ready, start manufacturing.

How to create a sponge cake with honeysuckle according to a quick recipe (jelly dough on eggs):

Start with berries. Sort out the freshest honeysuckle and wash it. Place on paper towels to dry.

Break the eggs into a bowl.

Add salt and sugar. If desired, add a teaspoon of vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanillin.

Beat with a hand whisk until smooth.

Mix flour with baking powder, sift.

Pour the flour mixture into the egg mixture.

Stir with a whisk to form a homogeneous dough without lumps.

Grease the mold with oil. In the version in the photo, the form is wrapped in baking paper. The paper is oiled. If you are not using paper, grease the pan.

One aspect. It would be great to sprinkle the greased form with breadcrumbs or semolina. In this case, neither one nor the other was manufactured.

Pour half of the dough into the mold.

Scatter the berries sparingly over the surface.

Fill with the rest of the dough.

Sprinkle berries on top again.

Bake in the oven at 190℃ for 40 minutes. Once the cake has risen sufficiently and become golden brown, it is ready to eat.

Remove the pie from the oven. Let the dough cool slightly. Place a plate on top. Supporting the plate and pan, turn the pan upside down. Remove the form. Carefully peel off the paper.

All that remains on the plate is a delicious jellied pie. Next, cut the baked goods into pieces and taste. Tasty, sweet, a little sour from the berries.

A recipe for honeysuckle pie on shortcrust pastry (kefir) will be posted in one of the subsequent articles. Now jellied pie with honeysuckle will complement tea in our family. The recipe is quite good and, most importantly, universally suitable. Instead of berries, you just take any fruit - the freshest apples, pear slices, strawberries, apricots. Can I take frozen berries or pieces of fruit? Yes, naturally, but there is one aspect. Before mixing with the filling, combine the frozen berries with 1-2 tablespoons of flour. Frozen berries breaded in flour do not stain the dough with juice. The jellied pie comes out delicious and tasty. Bon appetit to you, dear readers!
