How to cook pizza in 10 minutes? This recipe will help you out when you don't have time to knead the dough. Take a matnakash flatbread (or other thick pita bread) and cut it into two halves, brush with sauce and add filling. Then place in the oven until the cheese melts. That's it - the pizza is ready!

This express version of pizza, in the minds of Italians, is not even pizza at all, but an open pie with entrails. It will appeal first to those who usually order thick-crust pizza (and there are quite a few of us, believe me!). The base comes out soft and fluffy, the cheese stretches, and the inside has time to warm up. This quick pizza on a thick flatbread is a good option if you need to quickly and satisfyingly feed your family, or when guests are already on the doorstep.

You can use virtually everything that is in the refrigerator: sausage, frankfurters, fried minced meat, mushrooms, vegetables, even canned fish... The most basic thing is to have mantakash flatbread, ketchup and cheese. And all other ingredients can be changed at your discretion.

Ingredients

  • matnakash – 1 pc.
  • sour cream – 4 tbsp. l.
  • ketchup – 4 tbsp. l.
  • raw smoked sausage – 200-250 g
  • mozzarella cheese for pizza – 150 g
  • reddish onion – 1/2 pcs.
  • sweet pepper – 1/2 pcs.
  • champignons – 2-3 pcs.
  • frozen vegetables (mixture) – 1 handful
  • pickled cucumber – 1/2 pcs.
  • dried oregano – 2-3 chips.
  • chopped greens – 1 tbsp. l.

Manufacturing

Cut the matnakash lengthwise into two parts. Try to choose a flatbread whose thickness is more or less even over the entire area, then you will end up with two similar pizza bases (it won’t be that the center is very narrow and the edges are thick). If the matnakash is from yesterday, then this is even excellent, then the crumb will not become soggy, even if you generously coat it with sauce.

Place both halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with sour cream, spreading it in a thin layer with a spoon.

Then spread tomato sauce on top (I used homemade ketchup).

The inside can be very different. First you need to lay out the vegetables. For one pizza I used onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. And for the second one - onions, peppers, a Mexican mixture of vegetables (thawed in advance) and pickled cucumbers. You can take the rest of the vegetables. If you are not using champignons, but some other mushrooms, then you need to fry them in advance.

Place chopped sausage on top - you can slice it or make it into circles, whichever you prefer.

Sprinkle with chopped herbs (parsley, dill) and dried herbs (oregano, basil).

And finally, put cheese on top, which can be cut into thin slices or grated.

Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180-200 degrees for 10 minutes - use your own oven as a guide, you need to wait until the cheese melts.

  • Yeast puff pastry (2 sheets in a pack) - 1 pack.
