Pie with green onions and eggs

Ingredients:
- 6 eggs;
- a bunch of green onions;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 50 gr. butter;
- 1 kg. flour;
- a packet of dry yeast;
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- 2 tsp salt.
Manufacturing:
- Dissolve sugar and salt in 2 glasses of warm water until completely dissolved.
- Add yeast. Stir.
- Add 1 egg to the liquid and add vegetable oil. Beat with a fork or whisk.
- Add sifted flour.
- Let the dough sit for half an hour.
- Boil the other eggs and cut into small cubes. Add chopped green onions.
- Divide the dough in half. Roll out into uniform layers.
- Place the first layer on a greased baking sheet. Place the filling on it. Cover with a second layer of dough. Pinch the sides. Make a small hole in the center of the pie to allow the inside to bake better.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 200°C.
Jellied pie with onion and egg
The most common and quick way to prepare delicious pastries is to use jellied dough. Anyone can handle it, and you will immediately like its gentle and fresh taste. Pie with onions and eggs with sour cream is an example of how a true delicacy can be prepared from the most affordable goods.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour;
- 6 eggs;
- 350 gr. sour cream;
- 1 tsp baking powder;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- 1/2 tsp. salt;
- 150 gr. butter;
- a bunch of green onions.
Manufacturing:
- Add sugar and salt to sour cream. Stir thoroughly.
- Melt the butter and add it to the sour cream.
- Add 2 scrambled eggs there.
- Sift the flour, mix it with baking powder and add to the sour cream mixture.
- You should end up with a liquid dough. Divide it into 2 parts.
- Boil the remaining eggs and chop into small cubes.
- Finely chop the onion and mix with the eggs.
- Pour half of the batter into the baking dish. Place a layer of interior. Pour the remaining dough on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 200°C.

- Let the dough rest for half an hour.
- Divide it into two parts.

Beat eggs with salt. Add sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix.
Add soda and flour. Knead the dough.
For the inside, cut the boiled eggs and green onions. Add salt and mix.
I prepared the pie in a slow cooker, but you can also bake it in the oven.
Pour half of the dough into a greased multicooker bowl.
We spread the filling and distribute the rest of the dough on top. Cook the pie with eggs and green onions on the “Baking” mode for 50 minutes.
5-7 minutes before the end of the program, the pie can be turned over.
Remove the finished pie using a steaming bowl. Let cool.

A pourable pie with eggs and green onions can be safely called a simple and easy recipe for savory and playful baked goods at home. It comes out very juicy, tender and soft, and this pie is delicious both warm and cool.
The basis of this quick baking recipe is poured dough with kefir - truly a lifesaver for those who like to cook quickly and eat deliciously. For the inside, I suggest using green onions and boiled chicken eggs - in my opinion, this is a very successful combination for savory baked goods.
By the way, with it you can prepare not only a poured pie, but also yeast baked goods: pies, pies and buns. Very tasty with sweet tea, milk or compote.

Making a dish step by step:
The recipe for making this simple and delicious homemade pastry includes the following ingredients: wheat flour, drink (any fat content), chicken eggs, green onions, salt, sugar, baking soda and ground dark pepper. All products should be at room temperature.
Because we don’t need much time to prepare the dough and the insides, we immediately turn on the oven to heat up (180 degrees). Let 3 hard-boiled chicken eggs cook for 10 minutes after boiling. Then we make the filling dough. To do this, combine the drink, three eggs, a teaspoon of salt, and sugar in a suitable container. Mix everything well.
Pour in the sifted wheat flour, previously mixed with baking soda.
Mix everything until you get a homogeneous dough without lumps.
Now we clean and chop the boiled eggs. Wash the green onion, dry it, and finely chop it. Add salt and ground pepper to the filling and mix.
Now pour half of the dough into a baking dish (mine is 24 centimeters across). If you don't trust the mold, grease it with oil.
Then we lay a layer of egg-onion inside and level it.
And fill with the 2nd half of the dough.
Place the pie in a hot oven and cook at 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes.
This pie can be eaten immediately after it is made - I took it out of the mold while it was hot.
And you can let the pourable pie with eggs and onions cool, and then enjoy the delicious and fragrant homemade pastries.
The most delicious jellied onion pies
Such pies are called jellied because their dough is liquid and the inside is simply filled with it. One of the most popular options is with green onions and eggs. And the dough itself can be prepared either with kefir or sour cream. These are both of these recipes with step-by-step photos that I would like to offer you now. Both are very tasty, very playful and different, so it’s worth adopting both recipes.

Ingredients for making the dough:
- drink – 0.5 l;
- eggs – 3 pcs.;
- premium wheat flour – 300 g;
- sugar – 1 tbsp;
- soda – 1/2 tsp;
- salt – 1/2 tsp.
Ingredients for making the inside:
- green onions – 1 bunch (approximately 80-100g);
- boiled eggs – 3 pcs.;
- salt – 1 tsp.
How to cook jellied pie with onions and eggs on kefir
- The pie filling can be prepared ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator. Boil the eggs for 12 minutes. Place in ice water. When the eggs are completely cooled, peel them and cut them into cubes. Wash the green onions and cut off the roots. We cut it together with the snow-white part. We combine both ingredients of the insides, adding salt. Set aside so that it is soaked and the onion releases a little juice.
- The dough is easy to prepare instantly, so turn on the oven at 180°C.
- Prepare a comfortable deep bowl for the dough and pour a drink at room temperature into it. Break 3 eggs into a separate container. Add eggs to the bowl.
- Working slightly with a whisk, stir everything until smooth. There is no need to beat the mixture.
- Sift the flour into a separate container, add baking soda and salt. Mix with a spoon. Add dry ingredients to watery ingredients. We work with a whisk again. The dough is easily and quickly converted into a homogeneous mass, without lumps. The thickness of the mixture looks like pancake batter or even a little thinner.
- Prepare the baking dish. Grease it with butter at room temperature. Alternatively, melt the butter and use a brush to brush the sides and bottom of the pan. Pour half of the dough into the mold.
- Add green onions and eggs in an even layer.
- Pour the second part on top, while doing this you need to act quite carefully, because the dough must completely and moderately cover the entire filling.
- Place the pan in the oven to bake for 30-40 minutes. After 25 minutes, check the color of the surface of the pie. Maybe the crust is ready and has become a nice brown color - then cover it with foil. And we continue to bake.
- After the cake is completely baked (check with a wooden skewer), we take it out. For normal removal from the mold, we run a sharp, wide knife along the boots. After this, the pie can simply be transferred to a plate.
It is delicious roasted - with broth or thick puree soup. Cool - as a snack after a walk, with homemade tomato juice or compote.

Jellied pie with sour cream, eggs and green onions
Ingredients for the dough:
- sour cream – 250 gr.;
- chicken egg – 3 pcs.;
- mayonnaise – 2 tbsp;
- wheat flour – 5 tbsp (heaped);
- salt – 0.3 tsp;
- baking powder – 0.5 pack;
- sesame seeds (for sprinkling) – 2 tsp.
Ingredients for the inside:
- chicken egg – 6 pcs.;
- green onion – 300 gr.;
- butter – 30 gr.;
- salt – 0.1 tsp.
Cooking jellied pie with sour cream
- As you know, onions lose their size after heat treatment, so to make the inside we need a lot of onions, from 300 to 500 grams. We rinse it under cool water, pat it lightly with a cardboard towel, and then cut it into small rings. Together with green onions, you can use virtually any greenery - spinach, dill, parsley or even nettle.
- Place the chopped onion along with the butter in a heated frying pan and fry, stirring constantly, for no more than 2 minutes. Remove the onion from the stove and cool.
- Boil the eggs hard-boiled in advance, cool in cool water and peel. Cut into medium cubes. There is no need to cut finely, the inside may turn into mush.
- Mix the eggs with onions and add a little salt. The inside does not have to be very salty; the dough also contains salt.
- To make the dough we need a large container. Add sour cream and mayonnaise to it. Add mayonnaise for sweetness. If sour cream has a high fat content, then mayonnaise can be omitted or replaced with vegetable or softened butter. Break the eggs separately and add to sour cream and mayonnaise.
- Using a mixer or using a whisk by hand, beat the mixture until smooth.
- In another bowl, sift the flour with baking powder and salt. Gradually add flour to the main mixture.
- The dough should be a mixture of thick sour cream. If the dough comes out watery, add more flour.
- For this amount of dough, we need a mold that is not very large in size. Sprinkle the mold with a little flour and pour a large portion of the dough into it.
- Place the onion and egg filling on top, spreading it moderately over the entire surface of the dough with a spatula.
- Cover the filling with the remaining dough. Sprinkle white sesame seeds on top.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C in advance and bake for about 50 minutes. If you have an electronic stove, then it is better to use the “bottom heating with convection” option, while setting the temperature to 170°C. After baking, leave the cake in the oven for another 15 minutes and you are ready to serve. Jellied pie with green onions and eggs is good both warm and cooled.
