Recipe: Pizza on a ready-made basis - A simple but delicious recipe

Let's start with preparing the goods. Cut the ham into cubes.

Cover the baking sheet with foil so that you don’t waste a lot of time washing dishes later. Lubricate with sunflower oil.

Place the pizza base on a baking sheet. I take it straight out of the freezer without defrosting it.

Pour a spoonful of ketchup and mayonnaise onto the base. You can stir all this in a bowl in advance, but we have a quick version.

Use a tablespoon to spread ketchup and mayonnaise over the base.

I sprinkled the tomatoes with dry dill and parsley. Naturally, the freshest one tastes better, but that was the only one we had.

Finally, cover our pizza with a thick layer of cheese and put it in the oven.

Bake the pizza for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.

Remove from the oven and transfer to a plate.

Pizza secrets:
1. I took the usual ingredients, and you can improvise depending on your taste and the supplies in the refrigerator. Ham is simply replaced with boiled or raw smoked sausage, pieces of boiled chicken or beef, and fried mushrooms. I tried replacing hard cheese with slices of processed cheese, the taste came out creamier and softer.

2. You can also improvise with cutting ingredients: cut the ham into slices or grate it on a coarse grater, cut the raw smoked sausage into slices, and dice the tomatoes. In general, use your imagination and go ahead.

3. The packaging of the pizza base indicates a baking time of 5-10 minutes at a temperature of 170-200 degrees, but it all depends on your oven. Mine cooked for 15 minutes at 200 degrees. Be guided by the melted cheese and the golden side crust on the dough, and, of course, by the smell.

4. I tried to re-freeze the base with ingredients. It turned out unsurpassed, although the manufacturers do not recommend doing it this way. To do this, I froze cubes of ham, grated cheese and tomato slices separately, later I collected everything on the base, wrapped it in a plastic bag and sent it back to the freezer. During production, the frozen pizza was placed in the oven without defrosting and baked. The taste was not affected in any way.

Recipe for making ready-made pizza:

Thaw the pizza base at room temperature and coat it with ketchup.

    Finely chop 3-4 onions, fry in vegetable oil, remove from heat and mix with 200 g of diced cheese. Spread this mixture evenly on the base, cover with a continuous layer of tomato slices, pepper and salt. Bake in the oven for 8-12 minutes or in the microwave for 3-5 minutes at highest power. You can also add a couple of sausages cut into circles, placing them under the tomatoes.

    Pizza with minced meat
    Fry the minced meat and onions in a frying pan, place sparingly on the base, cover with slices of tomatoes and onions. Place processed cheese, cut into cubes or plastic, on top, sprinkle with pepper and salt. We bake the same way.

    Pizza with chicken and mayonnaise
    Finely chop a couple of carrots and a huge onion, fry until done and place on the base as the first layer. The second layer will be finely chopped boiled chicken pulp, approximately 400 g. The 3rd layer will be coarsely chopped 3-4 tomatoes and 1 sweet pepper. Now mix 6-7 tbsp. spoons of mayonnaise with 2-3 cloves of chopped garlic and spread the pizza on top. When ready, sprinkle with parsley and dill.

    Pizza with tuna and olives
    Grind 5-7 tomatoes and a few cloves of garlic, to taste, add 300 g of grated Parmesan cheese, pepper and salt, mix it all and put it on the base. On top we distribute small pieces of canned tuna (300 g), 25-30 olives and onions cut into rings. We bake the same as pizza in the first recipe.

    Pizza with meat or fish in Russian
    Finely chop boiled meat or poultry, or cooked fish, or sausage, or canned fish. Place it on the base. On top - onions cut into rings (1-2 onions), mugs or pieces of a couple of tomatoes and rings of 2 sweet peppers. We fill all this with 2 cups of grated cheese and fill it with the consistency of sour cream and mayonnaise (2-4 tablespoons of each). Baking is the same. There is a recipe for a very frisky pizza dough.

    Ready-made pizza

    There are guests on the doorstep, but your refrigerator isn’t full? This situation, when you hear the phone ringing and the receiver says, “We’re already on our way,” can occur to anyone. In case of unexpected guests, I have a ready-made pizza base in the freezer. This little secret of mine on how to quickly prepare dinner or a snack has helped me out more than once. After all, you can’t offer ordinary sandwiches to your friends, especially if they stopped by with a bottle of good wine.

    Ready-made pizza

    Whoever came up with a frozen ready-made pizza base needs to be given some credit. It’s quick, simple, and you don’t need to bother with the dough when you have absolutely no time.

    So, I have at my disposal a package of ready-made yeast pizza crusts in the amount of 2 pieces. They can practically always be found in the departments of frozen semi-finished products.

    The interior for such an express pizza is prepared on a ready-made basis from what is in the refrigerator. Pieces of boiled meat, baked chicken, fried minced meat. sausages or meat tenderloin. You can put any frozen vegetables, the main thing is that you still have cheese and tomatoes on hand, in the latter case, tomato paste or ketchup - and a very tasty pizza on a ready-made basis will be not only tasty, but also fast. I had the following list of items on hand for a typical pizza recipe:

    Ingredients:

    • ready-made frozen pizza crusts – 2 pcs.,

    • marinated mushrooms (or fried),
    • olives,
    • cheese,

    • bell pepper,
    • mayonnaise.

    Manufacturing process:

    It is better to do with pizza crusts as stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; it will indicate whether it is necessary to defrost the base or not. My annotation indicated that the pizza crusts needed to be defrosted. This can be done in different ways. You can just take it out and wait for it to defrost on its own. Can be defrosted in the microwave. Or you can put it in the oven on parchment or foil for 5 minutes.

    While the oven is heating up for baking, the shortcakes will defrost.

    Making ingredients for frisky pizza.

    We cut the ham into thin slices, bars or large cubes. Marinated mushrooms must be strained. We cut large mushrooms into cubes, the smallest ones into plates. Drain the brine from the olives and cut them into rings. Tomatoes for frisky pizza can be scalded if you don’t like the skin on them. Create a cut in the skin and remove the skin. We select large tomatoes. We cut the tomato into rings with a very sharp knife. For beauty, take bell peppers of various colors - this way the pizza from the finished base will look more colorful. 2 halves of medium peppers will be enough.

    The surface of the crust must be greased with some kind of sauce, in a quick version - with mayonnaise, since the base is a bit dry. By the time the guests arrived, I didn’t have a trace of a package of mayonnaise in the refrigerator, so I quickly prepared homemade mayonnaise using a blender from vegetable oil and yolk.

    Layer the pizza toppings on the prepared base.

    Place the first layer of ham or tenderloin. We try to arrange large slices so that everything gets to one piece of meat.

    Next we lay out the mushrooms; I use homemade pickled mushrooms. Place the olives in the spaces between the ham and mushrooms. Sprinkle everything with bell pepper.

    Now lay out the tomato slices.

    Top with mayonnaise again if desired and generously sprinkle with a layer of grated cheese. Place the pizza on the prepared base in a preheated oven and bake for 5-8 minutes at 220 degrees until the cheese melts.

    Pizza on a ready-made basis in the microwave

    If you have a microwave, you can cook pizza in it.

    Set the power to 700W and the cooking time to 3 minutes. After the device rings, the pizza is ready.

    Pizza on ready-made crusts in a slow cooker

    You can bake pizza on a prepared base in a slow cooker. The only negative is that you need to select the shortbreads exactly across the diameter or trim them with a knife (which is not entirely comfortable to do). Otherwise, the shortbread will not fit into the bowl.

    Don’t pour anything into the bottom, just place the finished crust and the filling on it. Set the “baking” mode for 20 minutes. The cheese will melt, but the top will not brown unless you have 3D heating. Let the pizza cool a little and turn the bowl a little on its side, the pizza will fall onto your hand.

    This is how you can quickly and deliciously feed pizza to unexpected guests or a very hungry spouse.
