What could be tastier than homemade baked goods?! Pies are a favorite delicacy for young and old. Don’t be afraid of the fact that they are prepared from yeast dough, everything is quite simple.

The main thing is to know the main lowercase truths of its production, and everything will just work out. This dough will be needed for pies with any filling. But because during the berry season you want to find a use for them, I propose to create pies with strawberries, because they spoil very quickly.

Moreover, this recipe will also be needed in winter - the berries can be consumed frozen or canned.

Baked pies with strawberries

Ingredients

wheat flour 450 g
sugar 200 g
salt 1 pinch
vegetable oil 90 ml
milk 2.5% 250 ml
instant yeast 1 tbsp. l.
vanilla sugar 5 g
freshest strawberries 600 g
potato starch 2 tsp.
water 1 tbsp. l.
chicken egg 2 pcs.

Preparing the dough

  1. We heat 250 ml of milk using whatever method is convenient for you. I heated it in a small cauldron, so it’s easier to control the heating temperature.
  2. Let's make the dough. To do this, mix a tablespoon of dry yeast and 25 grams of sugar in a bowl, sift 100 grams of flour through a sieve and mix.

Preparing the filling

  1. Wash 600 grams of strawberries, sort them out, tear off the stems and cut them into approximately 4 pieces. It’s not worth grinding, and large pieces are not suitable for us.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 100 grams of sugar and 2 teaspoons of potato starch.

We make and bake pies

  1. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and place the risen dough on it and knead it again.
  2. We pinch off pieces of the dough with our hands and form balls. I got 21 balls.
  3. Press the dough ball onto the work surface and stretch it slightly with your fingers. An oval cake comes out.
  4. Place 1-1.5 teaspoons of strawberries in the middle of the cake, so that the edges of the dough remain, and pour a teaspoon of sugar and starch on top.
  5. Seal the edges of the dough well and form a pie. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the pies on it.
  6. Turn on the oven to the minimum temperature, place a baking sheet with pies in it and leave it open, let the pies rise for 15 minutes.
  7. Then set the temperature to 180ºC and bake the pies for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. To grease the pies, mix a tablespoon of water and a tablespoon of sugar (25 g) in a cup. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  9. Take the finished pies out of the oven and brush them with syrup with a brush. This way they become shiny and the golden crust becomes richer.
  10. Our pies with the freshest strawberries are ready. As I said, everything is quite simple, and the result is unsurpassed.

Recipe for Strawberry Pies:

Carefully dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. l. flour, mix everything, put the dough in a warm place for 15 minutes.

Separately soften the margarine, add 1 egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, vegetable oil, salt, mix. Pour this mixture into the dough, mix well, add 1 cup of sifted flour, mix.

Add another 2 cups of sifted flour, knead into a soft dough. Cover and refrigerate until doubled in size, about 1-1.5 hours.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the dough to a table greased with vegetable oil and divide it into 10 balls.

Using your hands, stretch any ball a little, put strawberries in the center and sprinkle with 1 tsp. Sahara. Pinch the edges on both sides well. Brush the pies with egg wash and bake immediately for 40 minutes until golden brown.

My family is not particularly fond of sweet pies, but there are some that my family indulges in: pies with apricots and strawberries.

Fragrant, fluffy, sweet pies will be a good addition to Easter baked goods: why not treat yourself to such pastries, in addition to Easter cakes?

To make strawberry pies in the oven, we will prepare the products according to the list.

Mix all ingredients in a mixer bowl.

The drink needs to be heated, the butter melted and allowed to cool slightly.

Knead soft and elastic dough.

Place it in a bowl greased with oil. Cover with film and leave in a warm place for 40-60 minutes.

This is what the dough looks like after 40 minutes.

We knead it, divide it into parts and form pies of a suitable “style” for you. I got 12 fairly large pies.

For the inside you need to cut the strawberries randomly. Place strawberries on the dough, sprinkle with starch and sugar.

Starch is needed to prevent juice from leaking out. 1 tbsp of starch was used for all the baking.

And adjust the amount of sugar yourself, to taste. Here everything will depend on how sweet the berry is. I used 4 tbsp for 12 pies. Sahara.

Place the pies on a baking sheet, cover with a towel and let them rest for 15 minutes.

Then brush with yolk mixed with milk and place the strawberry pies in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20-30 minutes.

Let the finished pies cool a little, then take them out and cool one hundred percent on a wire rack.

Pies with strawberries

Strawberry pies according to this recipe have three significant advantages. Firstly, the finished baked goods do not go stale for a long time, because in addition to yeast, the dough is also kneaded with kefir, secondly, they are very airy, and thirdly, they are quickly and easily prepared.

Strawberry insides can be prepared from the freshest berries (in the summer) or frozen (in the winter) - equally delicious. But, with the freshest berries, baked goods come out more fragrant than with frozen ones. In the summer season, in addition to strawberries, you can add currants, pieces of apples, etc. to the filling.

The recipe for strawberry pies is from the quick series, very identical to cherry and sorrel pies, it will certainly appeal to lovers of sweet pastries made from yeast dough.

Advice from the Magic Cook. I don’t indicate the number of berries in the recipe, because some people like it when there are a lot of them, while others like it when there is more dough in the pies than inside.

  • premium wheat flour – 3 cups;
  • instant dry yeast – 11 g;
  • drink – 1 glass;
  • refined vegetable oil – half a glass;
  • granulated sugar – 2 tbsp;
  • salt – 1 tsp. (without top).

  • granulated sugar;
  • starch – 0.5 tsp;
  • chicken eggs – 1 pc.

Recipe for pies with strawberries in the oven

  1. In a bowl, mix butter, drink, salt, sugar, mix.
  2. Then put the bowl on the fire and heat the mass until warm.
  3. Next add yeast and sifted flour.
  4. Knead the dough and leave it for half an hour to rise.
  5. After this, divide the dough into equal parts, rolling them into a ball.
  6. We knead any purchased bun with our hands on a cutting board sprinkled with flour or roll it out with a rolling pin.
  7. Then cut the washed strawberries into cubes into cubes, sprinkle with sugar and starch.
  8. We put the filling in the middle of the dough cake and quickly form pies of random shape (round, boats or envelopes).
  9. Place the products on a greased baking sheet and turn on the oven.
  10. After heating the oven, brush the surface of the dough with beaten egg yolk.
  11. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 o C and bake the pies for 20 minutes.

We serve the finished hot pies to the table with milk, tea or juice for dessert or as an independent dish.
