It is not forbidden to vary the dough with products such as chocolate, marmalade, raisins, dried fruits, nuts, etc. And to give the finished liver a special smell, you can add cinnamon, cocoa, honey or vanillin to the dough. You can also make wonderful Christmas cookies based on sour cream dough - for this, add ground ginger, cinnamon or saffron to the flour when kneading the dough.

To make cookies with sour cream especially soft and tasty, it is better to take sour cream with a fairly high percentage of fat content. Cookies made from low-fat sour cream sometimes turn out somewhat dry. But if the dough recipe contains margarine or butter, it is completely acceptable to use low-fat sour cream (unless, of course, its fat content is indicated in the recipe). If only sour cream is used to make the dough, without butter or margarine, then the fat content of sour cream must be at least 25%. And if you want the cookies to come out crispy, the dough is rolled out as thin as possible, and the cookies themselves are baked at a low temperature.

Before putting sour cream cookies into the oven, they are usually not greased with anything. But in this case, if you want to sprinkle it with sugar, nuts or sesame seeds, it won’t hurt to moisten the surface of the cut out cookies with an egg or water. And in order to make this task much easier for yourself, it is worth purchasing a special culinary brush. Sour cream cookies painted with glaze also look very beautiful, so you should definitely take this delicious idea on board.

This cookie recipe will come in handy when you need to quickly prepare some homemade baked goods.

Homemade cookies made with sour cream are tender, fluffy, soft and airy. Almost everyone is familiar with this delicacy from their youth; both adults and children adore it.

In general, there are several options for making such cookies.

Sugar cookies with sour cream

  • Flour – 230 g
  • Sour cream – 110 g
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Butter – 180 g
  • Yolk – 1 pc.
  • Vanillin – 1 g
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Protein – 1 pc.

Mix flour with vanilla, salt and chop hard butter or margarine into crumbs.

Add one yolk, sour cream and knead the dough. It is better not to fill the dough with flour (you can add a little more flour later). The dough will turn out extremely soft and manageable, although it will stick to your hands a little.

Roll out the dough into a narrow layer. Cut out shapes or cut it into strips.

Lightly beat the whites with a fork. Dip one side of each cookie into it. You can simply brush one side of the cookie with egg white using your fingers or a brush.

Then dip the white side into sugar, pressing lightly.

Place the preparations on a baking sheet with parchment. Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes (the cookies should be slightly golden). Sprinkle the finished “Sdrifts” cookies with sweet powder.

Vanilla cookies with sour cream and condensed milk

  • Sour cream – 100 g
  • Boiled condensed milk – 380 g (can)
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • Wheat flour – 350 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Vanillin – 1 g
  • Salt - to taste

Grind the softened butter with sugar. During the process, add sour cream and eggs (in portions).

Mix flour with baking powder and add in portions to sour cream mixture. Add a little salt. Knead the dough.

Create 2-3 small cakes from the dough and put them in the freezer for 15 minutes or just in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-4 mm and form cookies using molds. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes (depending on the oven).

Cool the cookies on a wire rack, brush with condensed milk and connect them in pairs. Put in the cold to harden a little.

Sour cream cookies with banana

  • Wheat flour – 250 g
  • Bananas – 2 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Sour cream – 2 tbsp.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • Vanilla sugar – 0.5 tsp.
  • Sweet powder – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt – 1 tsp.

Peel the bananas and cut into pieces.

Place banana pieces, sugar, vanilla sugar, room temperature butter, chicken eggs and sour cream into the chopper. Mix everything well into a homogeneous mass.

Transfer the mixture into a bowl, then add flour and baking powder in parts, stirring with a spatula, knead the dough.

Transfer the finished dough into a cooking bag with a star attachment. On a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat, drop the dough in portions at a distance from each other, forming a flower.

Place for baking in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. I let the finished liver cool slightly, then sprinkle it with sweet powder.

The recipe for cookies with sour cream occupies one of the first pages of my culinary notebook, so it is prepared quickly and comes out extremely tasty. Thanks to him, there is always a use for the remains of sour cream that are found in the refrigerator when cleaning. And on cool winter days you get indescribable pleasure from the smell and warmth emanating from the oven.

Well, you don’t have to run to the store to buy something for tea. My kids like to work with me to squeeze out various shapes from the dough, and then watch how they grow and brown. But the biggest advantage is that you know what it is made from and can give it to your children without fear.

Savory cookies with sour cream

Ingredients

Wheat flour 400 g
Fat sour cream 250-300 g
Creamy margarine or butter 160-170 g
Sugar 6-7 tbsp. l.

Step-by-step production

According to this recipe, cookies with sour cream turn out extremely tasty, moderately sweet and soft.

  1. Let's start making it by adding baking powder to the flour and sifting it. It’s more convenient for me to knead right away on the table, but you can do it in a wide bowl.
  2. Now take chilled butter or creamy margarine, rub it into flour on a large grater and grind, turning the mass into crumbs. If you cook with softened or melted butter, it will turn out just soft. And it will be tender, sandy and crumbly.
  3. Add sour cream to the crumbs and mix well. Please note that we do not add sugar to the dough. We will have it on top of the cookies. Also I don't lay an egg. This imparts firmness to the baked goods and reduces crumbling. To get puff pastry, add 30-40 ml of vodka or 2 tbsp. l. grape juice mixed with lemon.
  4. Wrap the finished dough in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Cookie dough with sour cream is made extremely quickly, or, as they say, quickly. It takes longer to cool down. After this it will become denser and more pliable. You should not use the freezer, where the dough will freeze and rolling it out will be problematic. If this happens, remove the film and leave to warm up at room temperature for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the table with flour. Cut off half the dough and roll it out 0.5-1 cm wide. So that it does not drag behind the rolling pin, from time to time we treat it and the layer itself with flour.
  6. At this step, you can simply cut the layer with an ordinary or figured knife into squares or squeeze out the shapes using molds. Or completely cut strips 1 cm wide or squeeze out circles with a glass
  7. Break the remaining egg into a small bowl and beat it lightly with a fork. Pour sugar into another container. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and turn on the oven at 180-190°. The paper does not need to be lubricated or sprinkled with anything. We take each piece, in turn dip it only with the top side into the egg and sugar and place it on a baking sheet. Thanks to this, the cookies will not be extremely sweet and rosy. You can place the figures on a baking sheet, brush them with egg wash using a brush and sprinkle with sugar.
  8. According to the recipe, bake extremely tasty sour cream cookies in the oven for approximately 20 minutes. We put the cookies on a plate or in a vase, and put the newest batch in their space.

From my own experience I say that it does not survive until the moment when tea or coffee is prepared, so it is quickly stretched by the rushing household members.

You can also quickly and easily create mayonnaise cookies. I also advise you to bake homemade oatmeal cookies, which are tastier and healthier than store-bought ones.

Soft vanilla-sour cream cookies without margarine

  1. Take a small glass of sour cream and dissolve 4 tbsp in it. l. Sahara.
  2. Mix 200-250 g of flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and a pinch of salt. Pour this mixture into sour cream, add 1 tsp. vanilla extract or sugar and knead a soft dough that will not stick to your hands. This dough will make an extremely soft gingerbread-like cookie. If you want it to crunch, add about 80 g more flour.
  3. Wrap it in film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  4. Cut off half, roll out about 1 cm wide and squeeze out shapes using stencils or make circles with a glass.
  5. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake in an oven preheated to 180-190° for 20 minutes. During this period of time we prepare another portion of cookies.

Poppy cookies

  1. Soften 120-130 g of high-quality margarine or butter at room temperature.
  2. Grind a small glass of sour cream with 4-5 tablespoons of sugar and 1 egg. Add margarine, 100-150 g poppy seeds and mix.
  3. Combine 350-400 g of wheat flour with 1/3 tsp. soda or 1 tsp. baking powder. In this case, there is no need to turn it off. Sour cream acid is enough for this.
  4. Knead a non-sticky, soft dough. Place it in a bag or wrap it in cling film and keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Roll out half into a layer of 0.5-1 cm and form cookies.
  6. Bake on a lined baking sheet for about 20 minutes at 180-190°. I immediately warn you that it will not be ruddy, but remains light, so you don’t need to be guided by color. It’s better to take one out after a while, break it and check the degree of readiness.

Nut cookies are prepared in a similar way.

Sour cream cookies with honey

  1. Melt 2-3 tbsp in a water or steam bath. l. at least some honey.
  2. While it has not cooled down, add 1/2 cup of sugar and 120-140 g of butter or margarine. Mix well.
  3. Sprinkle 1/3 tsp. not slaked soda or 1 tsp. baking powder and add 3/4 cup sour cream. Bring until smooth.
  4. Sift 2 cups of wheat flour into this mixture and knead into an elastic, soft dough.
  5. We tear off small pieces and make koloboks 1.5-2 cm in diameter. We place them on a baking sheet with parchment at a distance of approximately 2 cm from each other, so that during baking they will increase and spread slightly.
  6. Place in a preheated oven at 180° for 20 minutes. Depending on the type of honey, cookies may change color and become darker.
