Stacks of minced meat under a fur coat in the oven - step-by-step recipe with photos
Have a nice day to all friends and guests of my blog! Meat and potato dishes in all varieties are very popular with us. In the middle of them are stacks of minced meat under a coat of vegetables baked in the oven. These are such beautiful meat cutlets with the inside lying on top and all covered with the most delicious, melted cheese.
I usually make minced meat from the meat that is in the refrigerator. Suitable beef, pork, lamb or mixed. If you don't like fatty foods, make minced chicken or turkey. Just when kneading, be sure to add an egg to it so that the finished cutlets do not fall apart.
Quite simple products and a common manufacturing method. And it turns out very appetizing and festive. Don't bother too much with the insides either. You can come up with a “fur coat” to suit your own taste: put grated potatoes, onions, tomatoes, fried mushrooms, eggs on the cutlet, cover the main thing on top with a pinch of grated cheese.
I now invite everyone to cook with me this simple, but surprisingly tasty dish. If you haven’t done fur coat stitching yet, be sure to try it. Your family and guests will simply swallow their tongues! Write in the comments how you do it. I would be very grateful.
In this article for us:
Stacks of mixed minced meat under a fur coat in the oven
These delicious cutlets are not at all difficult to prepare, but they are so beautiful and appetizing. I always prepare them for the festive table. They never stay after the holiday. If you haven't done stacking yet, definitely give it a try. Your family and guests will simply swallow their tongues!
What will be useful:
Manufacturing
First, let's prepare all the products. Boil hard-boiled eggs, let cool and finely chop.
Boil hard-boiled eggs for 7-10 minutes after boiling.
Chop the onion into thin half rings. Three cheeses on a coarse grater. Grate the potatoes too. Add the egg, salt, pepper to the minced meat and mix as needed.
Form thin flat cakes from the minced meat. You can already turn on the oven. Coat a baking sheet or baking dish with oil and place the flatbread cutlets on it.
Sprinkle a little chopped onion, chopped eggs and grated potatoes on top of each cutlet. Don't forget to add salt and pepper. The outermost layer is grated cheese.
My oven has already warmed up to 200 degrees. I send a baking tray with stacks there. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes.
The heating of all ovens is different, so keep an eye on the dish.
About 5 minutes before it’s ready, you can also sprinkle a pinch of cheese on top of each cutlet.
Well, our ceremonial meal is ready. You see, making them is quite simple. And how delicious it is - let everyone you treat with this dish tell you about it.
From time to time I make stacks of minced meat with fried carrots and onions as the inside.

Stacks of minced meat - 7 step-by-step recipes
If you are tired of ordinary cutlets, then you can make stacks of minced meat. As with the cutlets, twisted meat is used here, only the inside is laid out on top of the meat flatbreads and they are baked in the oven. With all this, there are various options for such a hearty dish, it all depends on what kind of meat is used for the flatbreads themselves and what ingredients are taken for the inside.
Stacks of minced meat in the oven
The recipe for stacks may be very different, but the most common version involves the addition of onions and cheese.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of minced meat (pork and beef);
- 2 onions;
- 225 g cheese;
- spices, mayonnaise.
Manufacturing:
- Cut the onions into thin rings and sauté in oil for 5 minutes.
- Add spices to taste into the prepared minced meat and stir.
- We make small cakes from the minced meat and place them on a baking sheet with foil.
- Place onions on top of the flatbreads, apply mayonnaise sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Place in the oven for 40 minutes, temperature 200°C.
With tomatoes and cheese
If you don’t understand how to prepare stacks of minced meat, then everything is simple, take minced meat and any ingredients for the inside, for example, tomatoes and cheese.
Ingredients:
- 425 g minced meat;
- 3-4 tomatoes;
- half an onion;
- 115 g hard cheese;
- mayonnaise, spices.
Manufacturing:
- For the recipe, we take any kind of minced meat, for example, you can mix chicken and pork in equal proportions, it turns out very tasty.
- Add seasonings to taste into the twisted meat, knead and beat.
- Cut tomatoes and onions into thin slices.
- Cover a baking sheet with foil, grease with butter and place minced meat cakes on it.
- On each flatbread we put onion, then tomato, a little mayonnaise and cheese, which can be grated or simply cut into thin slices.
- Place the dish in the oven for 45-50 minutes (temperature 200°C).
Stacks of minced chicken
As already mentioned, stacks are a versatile dish that can be prepared from any meat, for example, take minced chicken and thereby serve the lightest and least nutritious dish.
Ingredients:
- 2 poultry breasts;
- 1 testicle;
- 2-3 slices of white bread;
- 11 g hot mustard;
- 11 ml vinegar (9%);
- flour, spices.
For the inside:
- large onion;
- mayonnaise;
- 145 g cheese.
Manufacturing:
- We pass the poultry breasts through a meat grinder. We take slices of snow-white bread, better than yesterday’s bread, soak them in water, and then, together with the seasonings, add them to the twisted chicken meat and mix.
- Now add vinegar and mustard to the minced meat, and also add a spoonful of butter. Almost everyone may ask the question - why? The answer is simple - poultry meat, and specifically breasts, is a bit dry, and such ingredients will soften the fibers and the poultry will turn out not only tender, but with a special taste.
- All that remains is to drive the egg into the minced meat, mix everything well again and keep in a cold place for half an hour.
- We cover a mold or baking sheet with oiled foil, put the flatbreads made from minced meat, put the onion on top, if desired, you can lightly fry it in oil.
- Sprinkle the stacks with cheese and grease with mayonnaise, cook in the oven for 50 minutes (temperature 180°C).
If the dish is created for a festive table, then it is better to add cheese at the end of baking, so the stacks will turn out beautiful and careful.
From minced meat with grated potatoes
The following recipe will allow you to cook both the meat and the side dish right away, because in addition to the cheese, potatoes are used for the inside.
Minced meat racks with potatoes, eggs and cheese
For the recipe you will need:
Making recipe:
To make meat stacks, we first make minced meat, as for ordinary cutlets. Grind the soaked slice of bread, onion and garlic with a mixer. Pour the resulting mixture into the ground meat. Add the egg, spices and painstakingly beat the minced meat.
Fry the onion in a frying pan in sunflower oil until browned.
Boil the eggs and finely chop. Grind the cheese using a grater.
To prevent raw potatoes from darkening, grate them last.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and grease with vegetable oil. We make flat cakes from the prepared minced meat and place them on a baking sheet. Use a spoon to make a small indentation in the middle of each cutlet. Place fried onions on the meat flatbread.
Then - chopped eggs.
The next layer is raw grated potatoes.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Lubricate the meat racks with mayonnaise. The cheese and potato crust on stacks turns out to be the most tender and appetizing if the outermost layer is made from mayonnaise. Place the cutlets in the oven and bake for 40 minutes at 180C.
We take out the finished stacks and wait until they cool down a little. Place the cutlets under the fur coat on a huge platter. You can serve each cutlet separately, placing it on a plate along with the greens. The result is very tender and soft meat cutlets with entrails. With their seductive ruddy crust, they will bring not only your household members, but also guests into ecstasy. If you follow the recipe, the result will always be good, even for an inexperienced housewife. Bon appetit!
