Banana pie in a slow cooker

Banana pie in a slow cooker

The content of the article:

After a basic acquaintance with the multicooker, it’s time to move on to desserts, test the “Casserole” and “Baking” modes, and understand how much time is needed for this or that sponge cake of that particular multicooker model, be it Redmond or Tefal.

A banana pie in a slow cooker will be a discovery of amazing simplicity, non-cloying sweetness and availability of ingredients. Fruits from distant states carry solar energy, their yellowish color will brighten up any table, both everyday and festive.

Moist, sweet, fragrant banana pie in a slow cooker - it’s hard to overestimate the advantages of this pastry for us. There are a huge number of options, but the main thing is that in a multicooker, a banana pie will be baked even better than in a regular oven thanks to uniform heating and a non-stick coating. A couple of minutes before the cake is ready, you can turn it over in a bowl so that it crisps on both sides.

Individual manufacturing in a multicooker

Cooking in a multicooker, which combines an oven, a saucepan, a frying pan, a cast iron and a double boiler, brings peace to the soul of every housewife. You just need to stock up on ingredients, choose a mode and - done! The uniqueness of making baked goods in a multicooker is that, depending on the duration of baking, temperature and other reasons, the output can be either a golden-brown, crispy cake or a soft, fluffy one. You can choose any form for a sponge cake and place it in the bowl, the main thing is that it fits into the diameter of the device. You don’t have to limit yourself to the “Baking” mode for cakes; you can experiment and even select the “Oven”, “Popcorn” or even “Pizza” modes and evaluate the result. Don’t be upset if your chosen model doesn’t have one of these modes, it’s mind-boggling, but you can even bake with the “Soup” or “Porridge” programs.

One of the advantages of baking a banana cake in a slow cooker is that it literally will not burn even with even the smallest amount of oil used.

The main thing to keep in mind is that you should not take the banana pie out of the multicooker until it has cooled down - there is a risk of destroying the integrity of the baking frame. Let it cool slightly and dry. This peculiarity is specific to the multicooker, because moisture remains in it after the mode. Thus, banana pie, if you follow the recipe and tips for using a multicooker, will be able to amuse sweet lovers, young and old, not only with its taste, but also with its aesthetic appeal.

Banana pie in a slow cooker quickly

I offer you a recipe for making a tender banana pie quickly in a slow cooker. The recipe is very simple and requires a minimum of time and supplies. The finished dish has a very pronounced banana taste and smell, which is slightly shaded by a vanilla note.

If desired, you can omit vanillin from the cake at all, or replace it with half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon. For the pie, it is best to use ripe or overripe bananas.

Greenish, unripe bananas make the least delicious baked goods.

Ingredients:

  • bananas - 2 pcs.;
  • flour – 200 g;
  • sugar – 120 g;
  • sour cream – 150 g;
  • eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • baking powder – 2 tsp;
  • vanillin – 1 pinch;
  • salt – 1 pinch;
  • vegetable oil for greasing the bowl.

How to make banana pie in a slow cooker

We prepare the necessary ingredients. Sift the flour through a sieve to enrich it with oxygen.

Place the eggs in a bowl. Add sugar, salt and vanillin to them.

Beat this mixture until a snow-white fluffy mass is obtained using a mixer. This process may take approximately 5-8 minutes, depending on the power of the mixer.

Then add sour cream to the whipped mixture and mix well again.

Peel the bananas and grate them on a large grater. You can mash them with a fork. But I don’t recommend using a blender, because the mass will turn into slurry and the dough will also turn out watery.

Add grated bananas to the dough and mix.

At the very end, add flour mixed with baking powder into the bowl in 2-3 additions, mixing the dough well each time.

The finished dough comes out homogeneous and of medium thickness.

Grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and pour the pie dough into it. Bake the banana pie in the “baking” mode for 1 hour.

After cooling completely, sprinkle the finished banana pie with sweet powder and serve with tea.

Bon appetit!

Typically, with this manufacturing method, three types of pies are distinguished: a “quick” multicooker pie, sweet pies and, accordingly, savory pies. To save time, they came up with frisky pies, which are prepared either without dough or with the use of “frisky” dough. These are different cottage cheese pies in a slow cooker, kefir pies in a slow cooker, ordinary pies in a slow cooker, recipes for which are available in large quantities on any culinary website, including ours. Most popular are savory pies, which can be served as a main dish. These include an egg pie in a slow cooker, a cabbage pie in a slow cooker, and a potato pie in a slow cooker.
