These tasty, fragrant and very soft milk cookies are one of the most common homemade baking options. I’m sure you can find a variety of recipes with photos on the Internet. They are all, of course, frisky, ordinary and tasty, but I have my own impeccable milk cookies, and this is what I want to share. I got the recipe from my grandmother. I just modernized it a little by replacing baking powder with baking powder and adding vanillin and sweet powder to the list of ingredients. Otherwise, this is a composition that has been tested by more than one generation of eaters. The cookies come out soft and tender, and the preparation couldn’t be easier! From the indicated amount of ingredients I got 3 baking sheets (37*26 cm) of cookies.
- milk – 100 ml,
- butter – 100 g,
- egg – 1 pc.,
- sugar – 1 tbsp.,
- salt – 0.3 tsp,
- vanillin – 1 g,
- baking powder - 1 tbsp. l.,
- flour – 450 g,
- sweet powder - when serving.
How to make cookies with milk
First, mix sugar and butter. By the amount of sugar. From 1 tbsp. The cookies come out slightly sweet. For my taste, it's perfect. But if you like sweeter baked goods, it is better to add another third of the glass.
We immediately throw vanillin into the bowl. You can beat them with a mixer or just mash them with a fork - there is no particular difference. The main thing is that the mass must become homogeneous. There will be no difficulties with the grinding action if the oil is soft.
Next, add the egg into the bowl and add milk. Add some salt to the dough.
Knead the mixture until smooth, sift the flour and baking powder into it and mix them evenly into the dough.
First, the dough is simply kneaded with a whisk (spoon/fork). Then, when it becomes impossible to control the whisk, knead it with your hands. You should end up with a very soft bun of dough that is easy to work with. It may stick to your hands a little, but you don’t need to add more flour, otherwise the finished cookies will come out as hard as a mallet.
We hide the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Afterwards, take out the bun, lightly dust the work surface and form the cookies. Roll out the dough into a layer 5-10 ml wide (the thicker the layer, the softer the cookies will be). We give the cookies any shape. Grandmother constantly cut the layer into diamonds and baked them, placing them on a huge baking sheet, in a real oven. I have these round pieces, which I will bake in the oven.
Grease or line a baking tray with baking paper and place cookies on it at a certain distance from each other. If you do not sprinkle the finished cookies with powder, it is better to sprinkle the tops a little with sugar.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and load a baking tray with cookies into it for 15-20 minutes. During this period of time, the cookies should brown slightly. This is enough, you can take it out. Let the liver cool, sprinkle generously with sweet powder and serve. Bon appetit!

- Pour in the required amount of milk and stir everything well until smooth.
- Then sift the flour there, add baking powder and knead the dough.
- After the dough is kneaded, roll it out into a layer one centimeter wide.
- Using a cup with sharpened edges, cut out rounds from the dough. In general, you can cut out cookies of any shape.
- Line a baking sheet with tracing paper and carefully place the cookies on it.
- Preheat the oven in advance.
- Place the baking sheet with cookies in the oven and bake at 100 eighty degrees for about 20 minutes.
So, very quickly and simply, we prepared delicious cookies with milk.
After 20 minutes, remove it from the oven, place it on a plate, and sprinkle with sweet powder.
