Quick pie with berries in a slow cooker

Quick pie with berries in a slow cooker

Hello, readers and guests of the blog!

It is impossible to imagine a modern kitchen without a multicooker. It is especially appreciated when you want to pamper your family, and there is no desire to “soar the apartment.” Right now I’m having just such a day. Craving something sweet and sour for tea. And there is little time left.

There were a few currants from the past harvest in the freezer. That's exactly what we'll put into action.

We will prepare biscuit dough. Therefore, for the dough we use only granulated sugar - in no case sweet powder. If desired, you can add vanilla, lemon juice and zest to the dough.

How to make berry pie with frozen or fresh berries

The pie is easy to make and I usually involve the children in this process; you can cook it with any berries and in our family it is the most beloved, juicy and airy dessert. In season, we take the freshest raspberries, cherries, strawberries, and apples. In winter, frozen. If desired, you can use jam.

Ingredients:

  • 3 testicles
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. frozen currants
  • oil drain (for lubricating the bowl)
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
  • If desired, you can add baking powder

Manufacturing method:

First you need to choose a comfortable form for the test.

Naturally, it is better to beat the eggs in a glass or porcelain bowl.

But it’s more convenient for me to create this in an ordinary saucepan. Break eggs into it and add sugar.

The whites make the dough the most fluffy, the yolks the tightest!

There are several secrets to make beating eggs easier:

  • It's easier and faster to whip chilled egg whites with the addition of a few drops of lemon juice!
  • The yolk foams better when warm!

I didn’t have time to divide - the little assistants were faster. Therefore, beat the yolk together with the white and sugar until a thick foam forms.

Add sifted flour to the mixture. To prevent the dough from losing its fluffiness, it is better to stir in the flour with a spoon from top to bottom.

It is at this step that you can add baking powder.

Lubricate the multicooker bowl with margarine or butter. This process can be entrusted to even the smallest members of the family)

Pour the dough into the mold.

On top we decorate the dough with berries (in my case, frozen ones). For example like this:

During the baking process, the berries will certainly sink into the middle of the dough.

Set the baking mode for 30 minutes.

After the signal, the pan will turn off and wait until it cools. And carefully transfer it to a plate. It is convenient to use a form for steaming for this purpose.

To do this, simply lower it into the multicooker bowl, hold it, and turn it over! This way your work will not break!

When cooked in a slow cooker, the pie comes out pale. But this is easy to fix - sprinkle with powder or grated chocolate.

Simple and fast! Eaten - instantly. I hope you like it. Bon appetit!

“Berry” pie in a slow cooker

We moved into a new apartment, but there is no oven yet! A multicooker helps! Fast, but most importantly, delicious! I suggest you check this for yourself!

Ingredients for “Berry Pie in a Multicooker”:

  • Chicken egg (4 in the dough, 1 in the filling) - 5 pcs.
  • Wheat flour / Flour (200 g for dough, 50 g for filling) - 250 g
  • Sugar (170 g in the dough, 50 g in the filling) - 220 g
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Vanilla sugar (for filling) - 1 tsp.
  • Butter (150 g for dough, 30 g for filling) - 180 g

  • Sour cream (filled) - 50 g
  • Baking powder - 0.5 packet.

Power: 490 Watt

Programme: Baking (65 minutes)

Recipe for “Berry Pie in a Multicooker”:

Separate the whites from the yolks.
Beat separately. After the protein mass has increased in volume and turned into foam, add 170 g of sugar evenly.

Add salt to the yolks. Beat together with salt.

Mix flour separately with baking powder. Then add it to the protein mass.

Melt the butter. Add to the dough, then add the yolks.

Now let's fill!
Mix the egg, sour cream, 50 g sugar, 50 g flour and 30 g butter.
My mixture came out a little thinner than the main dough.

Grease the bottom of the mold with butter!
Since the pie will be an “upside-down” (like most pies baked in a slow cooker), we make it seem to be the opposite: pour 1/2 of the filling onto the bottom of the mold, after which we lay out assorted berries (if desired, you can use the freshest berries), then pour the remaining filling over the assortment.

All that remains is to lay out the main dough!
Since it turned out a little thicker than the filling, I leveled the dough across the diameter of the mold using a spoon.

Place in the multicooker on the “Baking” mode. Set time: 65 minutes.

The pie comes out delicious, and with sourness due to the berries!

It's time to brew tea!

Pie with berries in a slow cooker is a fragrant pastry. Recipes for pie with berries in a slow cooker: open, sponge, puff, shortbread

From time to time you want to prepare delicious and fragrant pastries with berries for tea.

In the summer it can be the freshest berries, and in the winter it can be frozen.

In a slow cooker, pies are especially successful due to even heating.

Pie with berries in a slow cooker - the main principles of production

Pies in a slow cooker are made entirely from all berries. Raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, currants, cherries, etc. are suitable for this. Freshly picked berries are washed and dried, placed on a disposable towel. If they have seeds, take them out and put the berries themselves in a sieve to drain excess juice.

The dough for the pie is prepared as biscuit dough, or kneaded with kefir. An open pie is baked from shortbread or puff pastry.

Berries are added both directly to the dough and laid out as the inside on top.

Prepare the pie in the “baking” mode.

If you cook the pie with cottage cheese, you will get a tender dessert with a creamy taste.

4. Pour the dough into the bowl, place the berries on top and lightly press them down with a spatula.
