Let's start preparing the base
First, let's stock up on the necessary components. We remember that mousse is certainly made with gelatin. Take a close look to see if you have in your refrigerator:
- 200 gram pack of regular cottage cheese (fat content is at the discretion of the housewife);
- 150 ml of yogurt or low-fat kefir;
- a pack of gelatin;
- from four to 5 tablespoons of sweet powder or vanilla sugar;
Now pour boiling water over the gelatin and mix until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Carefully mix the cottage cheese with yogurt or kefir and beat using a blender. The mass must be completely homogeneous. Now pour gelatin and sweet powder into the mixture. The base for the dessert is ready. Now we continue to prepare the curd mousse - the recipe for the dish is standard.
Recipe 1 - nut-chocolate tenderness and prunes
Do you like chocolate and nuts? Do you love coconuts? Then run to the hypermarket and buy:
- 20 grams of peanuts;
- 100 g dark chocolate;
- 50 grams of prunes;
- 2 tbsp. l. coconut flakes.
All this is added to the prepared base. The prunes must be finely chopped before adding to the bowl. Now take a plastic mold moistened with cool water. Coconut shavings are poured there to decorate the dessert. Now all the mousse is placed there - thanks to the shavings it will be easier to remove it from the refrigerator. And there the treat will be spent for several hours.
Now the housewife needs to melt the chocolate in a water bath - they need to cover the top part of the delicacy, and crushed or finely chopped peanuts are sprinkled on top. Now the gorgeous dessert is completely ready, and your guests will try it with great pleasure!
Recipe 2 - raspberry-pistachio symphony
Do you like raspberries? Great! It's also great for making mousse! But make sure you don't forget to purchase:
- 450 ml of 10 percent cream (we can replace yoghurt or a drink in the base);
- 400 g of fresh raspberries - therefore a similar dish is prepared only in the summer;
- 3 tablespoons pistachio paste;
Having prepared the base, pour it with pistachio paste and whole raspberries. Creamy curd mousse can be served!
Recipe 3 - Catalan exotica
A traditional Catalan treat is cottage cheese with mint. You can also add leaves and pieces of lemon or orange to the prepared mousse base, and pour mint or citrus syrup on top.
- one bunch of mint;
- 1 lemon or large orange;
- mint or lemon/orange syrup - optional.
We cut the lemon into pieces, and peel the orange and divide it into slices or chop it. Add pieces of citrus fruit to the dessert, squeezing out a little juice. Finely chop the mint, leaving a few whole leaves for decoration. Now you can pour the syrup and bring it to your guests! This is a beautiful treat for kids and adults!
Recipe four - without gelatin mousse in tartlets
You don’t want to take gelatin, but you found sour cream and tartlets unused for caviar sandwiches in the house? Unsurpassed! And without gelatin you can create a mousse!
For the base you will need:
- fresh fruit and/or jam;
- 200 g cottage cheese;
- sour cream;
- 1 pack of tartlets.
Mix jam, cottage cheese and sour cream using a blender. Decorate with berries and place into tartlets. A unique dish is ready!
Recipe 5 - cake with mousse

For example, curd mousse can completely become a beautiful nutritious breakfast or a light evening dessert. The recipe for this treat is very simple and does not require much time.
Curd mousse is a sweet, delicate delicacy that will perfectly fit into the diet menu. You can dilute the taste of the treat by adding syrup, jelly, fruits, nuts, dried fruits, coconut flakes to the recipe. This dish is prepared without baking, so all products retain their beneficial characteristics. The recipe can be changed and supplemented at your own discretion. Mousse with cottage cheese can be a delicious base for various sweet desserts. Below are two fun methods for making this savory, cuddly treat.
Mousse with nuts, chocolate and prunes
The recipe for this unusual dessert is very simple and suitable for everyone. If desired, you can experiment with additives. In addition, the taste of the final product will also depend on what kind of yogurt you use in the process of making it.
- cottage cheese – 200 g;
- drinking yoghurt – 150 ml;
- prunes – 50 g;
- peanuts – 20 g;
- chocolate bar;
- gelatin - one pack;
- sweet powder – 4-5 tablespoons;
- coconut flakes - 2 tablespoons.
- We will prepare the curd dessert with gelatin, which should be previously filled with hot water and stirred until completely dissolved.
- Pour drinking yoghurt over the cottage cheese, then beat the resulting mass with a blender until smooth.
- Pour gelatin evenly into the mixture, add sweet powder, coconut and vanilla sugar.
- After this, finely chop the prunes and add to a common bowl.
- The recipe calls for using a plastic mold. Moisten it with water, sprinkle the bottom and sides with coconut. This will not only make the dessert look more elegant, but will also make it easier to remove the frozen mass from the mold. To allow the mousse to harden, place it in the refrigerator for some time.
- After a few hours, the delicacy will be ready. To decorate a dish with chocolate, first melt it in a water bath, then cover the top of the dessert with it, on which then place chopped peanuts, as shown in the photo.
This spectacular sweet treat delights not only with its great taste, but also with its chic appearance.
Pistachio curd mousse with raspberries
As noted above, the sweet treat recipe has a huge number of interpretations. Pistachio curd mousse, decorated with juicy whole raspberries, will decorate any festive table.
- soft cottage cheese (9%) – 500g;
- cream (33%) – 450 ml;
- brown sugar - half a glass;
- food gelatin – 30 g;
- raspberries – 400 g;
- pistachio paste – 3 tablespoons.
- The recipe for this unique dish is also indescribably simple. We will prepare the curd mousse with gelatin, for which we will first soak it in cool water for about 10 minutes.
- Mix sugar and 100 ml cream in a saucepan. Place the mixture over medium heat and bring to a boil. The sugar should completely dissolve. After this, remove the mass from the heat and fill it with squeezed gelatin. Stir everything well.
- Beat the soft cottage cheese separately using a mixer. While beating, add the gelatin mixture evenly. Add pistachio paste there.
- The recipe involves the use of very cool cream, which must be whipped separately to stiff peaks.
- Slowly and as carefully as possible, add the cream into the curd mass.
- Line a baking dish with cling film as shown in the photo. Place the berries in an even layer on the bottom of the mold. Spread the mousse on top and smooth it out well. Cover the mixture with the edges of the film and place it in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
After the designated time has passed, the dessert can be removed from the refrigerator. The result should be a wonderful, tasty mousse, as in the photo. On top it can be decorated with whole raspberries.

Recipe:
1. Our curd and yogurt mousse will be with gelatin. Therefore, first of all, we need to soak the gelling component in milk - let it sit for an hour.
Agar-agar - the so-called “gelatin from aquatic plants” - can also be used. But keep in mind that the mixture will turn out slightly different.
2. Meanwhile, we will mix cottage cheese with yogurt using a blender. A mixer will also work, but then it’s better to first grind the cottage cheese through a sieve.
Be sure to take traditional, unsweetened yogurt - without any additives.
3. After an hour, put the gelatin in milk on low heat. We will stir and wait until it completely dissolves.
Under no circumstances should you bring it to a boil!
4. Are you ready to turn on the blender or mixer again? ; ) We need to mix all the products together: gelatin with milk, cottage cheese with yogurt, cherries and a little sweetener - to your taste.
By the way, cherry is my choice. :) You can cook it with any other berries or fruits.
5. And now, while the still watery mousse is poured into the mold, we are surprised: “What, that’s it already?!” ; )
Yes all! All that remains is to put the dessert in the refrigerator and be patient. After all, he needs to stand there for 4 hours.
If it becomes difficult to remove later, carefully immerse the mold in hot water - the delicacy will slightly melt and come out!
