Mannik on kefir

Mannik on kefir

The most delicious delicacy that no matter what kind of housewife must be able to prepare is manna with kefir.

Since time immemorial, the Slavs have been famous for their ability to make this most delicate pie, and modern chefs have already introduced a huge number of changes to the traditional recipe, as a result of which it has become not just an ordinary pie, but a real masterpiece of culinary art.

Mannik on kefir can be created with various additives, with all this significantly changing the taste characteristics of the pie.

If there is a large amount of sugar, it is better to use sour berries or fruits as additives, and creams and sprinkles will turn fluffy shortcakes into the most beautiful cakes. You just have to give free rein to your imagination, and ordinary manna will turn into a “signature” dish that your household will look forward to.

Usefulness and calorie content

The main feature of the pie is the use of semolina instead of wheat flour in the composition.

In the Russian period, semolina was elevated to the rank of more valuable cereals that anyone should eat, regardless of age. Modern scientists tend to believe that semolina, as such, does not have much value for the body, especially when compared with other grains. However, when added to a pie, it slightly reduces the calorie content of the product due to the replacement of wheat flour.

The calorie content of manna with kefir is 249 kcal per 100 grams of the finished product.

The value is not small, taking into account the fact that the pie turns out to be quite dense and languid in weight, so a hundred-gram piece will look very unconventional on the plate. There are secrets for reducing the calorie content of the product by reducing the number of eggs and flour in the composition. Making dietary manna can be done, but the pie will lose its enviable fluffiness and delicacy for which it is so adored.

Speaking about usefulness, it is also worth mentioning the vitamins and microelements that make up manna. These include:

  • vitamins (a group of low molecular weight organic compounds of relatively simple structure and diverse chemical nature) of group B;
  • vitamin (low molecular weight organic compound of relatively simple structure, necessary for all living things) E;
  • folic acid;
  • phosphorus;
  • sulfur;
  • chlorine;
  • calcium;
  • iron;
  • magnesium;
  • zinc.

True, the calcium included in the composition is poorly absorbed by the body due to the adjacent phosphorus content in large quantities. Nevertheless, microelements can contribute to a person’s daily enrichment of active substances.

Mannik is one of those dishes with which you can start getting acquainted with a slow cooker. The multicooker copes with its production just as well as with any other baked goods. Mannik comes out fluffy and tender and is not a bit inferior to analogues prepared using the usual method.

Prepare the necessary products.

Wash the raisins and pour boiling water over them.

Mix the drink with semolina and leave for 2 hours for the semolina to swell.

After 2 hours, melt the margarine in the microwave or in a water bath. Mix semolina with melted (but not hot!) margarine.

Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla.

Carefully add the egg mixture into the semolina mixture. Quench the soda with vinegar and also add to the dough. Add flour evenly, in small portions, stirring constantly.

Drain the raisins and add them to the dough. Stir well. Grease the multicooker bowl with butter, sprinkle with semolina and pour the dough into it.

Set the program to “Baking” or “Baking” and bake the manna with the lid closed for 1 hour. In an hour the manna will be ready. Using a steamer tray, remove the semolina.

Mannik with flour

Option 1: Traditional recipe for manna with kefir and flour

Semolina is useful for adults and children. It has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the digestive system, contains vitamins (a group of low molecular weight organic compounds of relatively simple structure and varied chemical nature) of group B and a huge amount of potassium. Dishes with the addition of semolina forever satiate you and help you quickly regain your energy levels.

This unusual product is used to prepare not only porridge, which children so often refuse to eat. Semolina is used in various puddings; pancakes and pies are baked using it. Using ordinary cereals, kefir and flour, you can simply prepare the most delicious pie - manna.

Ingredients:

  • Semolina - 190 g;
  • Flour - 150 g;
  • Butter - 100 g;
  • Drink - 250 ml;
  • 2 testicles;
  • Sugar - 200 g.

Step-by-step recipe for manna with flour

Pour kefir over the semolina and stir gently. Leave the mixture indoors for 40 minutes, or better yet, a couple of hours. During this period of time, the semolina will have time to swell slightly, and the cake will be fluffy and tender. If you skip this step, the finished manna may contain crispy grains that will spoil the entire taste and texture of the dish.

Turn on the oven so that it gradually heats up to 180°. In parallel with this, you can begin preparing other ingredients.

Combine the softened butter with sugar, grind the mixture well with a fork. The result should be a snow-white mass of a homogeneous mixture.

Wash the eggs well. Break one of them into a bowl with butter and sugar, beat lightly. Add the second egg, stir all the ingredients again.

Pour semolina and kefir into the dough preparation. Whisk the mixture until it becomes smooth.

Sift the flour. Combine it with salt, add baking powder. Gently pour the flour in small portions into the bowl with the manna dough. Keep stirring it so that there are no lumps.

Place the dough in a greased pan and make small sides. Place the pie in the oven for 40 minutes.

Don't limit yourself to the traditional recipe. Try to grease the finished pie with condensed milk or jam, add citrus zest, nuts and chocolate to the dough. Manna with an interior of fruit in caramel is also very tasty.

Option 2: Frisky recipe for manna with kefir and flour

To prepare the pie faster than usual, it is better to mix semolina with kefir in advance. If you combine these ingredients in the evening, during the day you can bake manna in just 6 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Semolina - 200 g;
  • Sugar - 100 g;
  • 2 testicles;
  • Flour - 100 g;
  • Drink - 100 ml;
  • Butter - 100 g;
  • Baking powder - 10 g.

How to quickly cook manna with kefir and flour

Place the butter in the microwave for a minute until it melts a little. Using a fork, beat it with sweet sand.

Beat the eggs until you get a fluffy, foamy mass.

Combine flour with baking powder. Add semolina in kefir, butter and sugar and beaten eggs.

Knead the dough. The mixture should be homogeneous and not very thick.

Prepare a microwave-safe container. Grease it, then fill it with dough. Bake at 600 W for 6 minutes.

Remember that all the ingredients for making manna must be taken out of the refrigerator in advance. Let them lie in the room for at least half an hour. Thanks to this, it will be easier for you to knead the dough, and the finished pie will turn out even more delicious.

Option 3: Manna with apples and flour

You can cook an impressive number of dishes with apples. They mix perfectly with gentle manna dough. Various spices are also added to this pie - cloves, cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 2 testicles;
  • Raisins - 100 g;
  • Breadcrumbs - 15 g;
  • Sugar - 100 g;
  • Apples - 200 g;
  • Lemon - 25 g;
  • Semolina - 200 g;
  • Butter - 100 g;
  • Drink - 150 ml;
  • Flour - 50 g.

Step by step recipe

Combine semolina with kefir, leave the resulting mixture for an hour. During this time, it is necessary to stir the mixture from time to time, otherwise the grains may stick together.

Using a mixer, beat the eggs, pouring sweet sand evenly into them.

Melt the butter. Instead, they often use special margarine for baking. Pour the melted butter into the egg mixture and continue whisking.

Add semolina with kefir to the dough preparation. Stir again.

Rinse the lemon and grate the zest on a small grater. Pour it into the rest of the ingredients and add the raisins. You can soak it for half an hour beforehand, but this is not necessary.

Combine the sifted flour with baking powder. Knead the dough with kefir.

Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the core and seeds. Cut the fruit pulp into thin slices and pour into the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180°. Place the frying pan there for a minute to heat it up. Then you need to grease the vessel and sprinkle its entire surface with breadcrumbs. Pour the dough into the frying pan and bake the manna for 50 minutes.

It is better to prepare breadcrumbs on your own. You should not eat products from the hypermarket that contain large amounts of spices and bread crumbs of unknown origin.

Option 4: Mannik with flour, condensed milk and bananas

This pie turns out indescribably delicious, even though it is very easy to prepare. Condensed milk is used as a cream. If you want to make the manna less sweet, reduce the amount of sugar in the dough.

Ingredients:

  • Semolina - 250 g;
  • Flour - 350 g;
  • Drink - 250 ml;
  • Sugar - 150 g;
  • Condensed milk - 250 ml;
  • Butter - 100 g;
  • Bananas - 200 g;
  • Soda - 5 g.

How to cook

Mix the cereal with sugar and fermented milk product. Leave the dough piece to swell at room temperature. This will take at least 2 hours.

Melt the butter. Combine it with sifted flour, pour soda into the dough. Mix all ingredients well with a spoon.

When the semolina swells, pour it into the dough along with the kefir in which the cereal was infused. Whisk the mixture until smooth. Preheat the oven to 180°.

Bake the manna for 40 minutes. When the cake is browned, remove it from the pan and wait until it cools completely.

Carefully cut the pie into two layers. They should be approximately similar in thickness.

Remove the skin from the bananas and cut the flesh into fine slices.

Lubricate each half of the semolina from the inside with condensed milk, place banana pieces on top. Connect the shortcakes to each other.

Such manna with flour should be left for at least half an hour so that it is thoroughly soaked. If you want to add something to the taste of the cream, you can mix condensed milk with butter, low-fat cottage cheese or sour cream.

Option 5: Chocolate manna on kefir with flour and halva

The chocolate manna looks very dressed up. Not many people like the taste of halva, but in this dish it is perfectly mixed with other ingredients. Such a pie can even be served at a festive table.

Ingredients:

  • Drink - 200 ml;
  • Semolina - 150 g;
  • 3 testicles;
  • Cocoa - 35 g;
  • Halva - 100 g;
  • Sugar - 150 g;
  • Flour - 150 g;
  • Margarine - 100 g.

Step by step recipe

Pour semolina into the drink in portions, stirring constantly. Let the mixture sit in a warm place for about an hour.

Break the eggs into a plastic bowl, add sugar. Using a whisk or mixer, beat the mixture until the grains are completely dissolved.

Crumble the margarine, you can further grind it with a blender.

Pour soda into the semolina drink. Stir until small bubbles form on the surface.

Add cocoa to kefir mixture. Pour soft margarine into it and pour in the beaten eggs. Stir the workpiece so that it has a uniform color and mixture.

Pour the flour into the kefir dough through a sieve. Stir all the ingredients again, and at the same time preheat the oven to 180°.

Chop the halva into cubes. You can simply crumble it with your hands.

Pour the dough into the mold. To prevent it from sticking, you can line a baking sheet with parchment or grease it ahead of time.

Spread the halva moderately over the surface of the dough. Place the manna in the oven for 40 minutes.

Due to the action of high temperatures, halva changes its structure and softens. Some pieces fall inside the watery dough, resulting in a real pie with cream.
