Lavash strudel with apples; recipes in the oven and in a frying pan

Lavash strudel with apples - recipes in the oven and in a frying pan

Not so long ago we could not imagine that strudel could be baked without flour and extremely quickly. But at the moment, a magical narrow flatbread has appeared in our kitchen, capable of working true miracles. If you are extremely hungry for sweets, but have no desire to take care, prepare a lazy strudel with apples from lavash and you will be happy. If you are completely lazy, fry the workpiece in a frying pan. If you have time, bake it in the oven.

Apple shrudel will amuse you with its crispy crust, fragrant and juicy insides. And those losing weight will note the low calorie content of sweets. If you are already tired of the usual inside with apples, add dried fruits, nuts, any berries and fruits, poppy seeds, coconut flakes, banana, cinnamon.

Lazy apple strudel from pita bread in a frying pan

The simplest recipe for a delicious dessert even without baking. Add whatever you like to the filling if you wish.

  • Apples – 3 pcs.
  • Lavash leaf.
  • Butter – 50 gr.
  • Cinnamon – a pinch.
  • Sugar - a large spoon.
  • Sweet powder.
  1. Chop the apples into small cubes (be sure to cut off the skin).
  2. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the cubes, fry over medium heat until soft.
  3. Season with sugar and cinnamon as you go. For sweet apples, add sugar evenly.
  4. Lay out a layer of lavash, distribute the filling moderately.
  5. Carefully wrap it in a roll. Cut into pieces with a sharp knife.
  6. Melt the butter in a frying pan and place the strudel pieces. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Sprinkle with powder and put the kettle on.

Narrow lavash strudel with apples in the oven

The usual recipe for strudel, but here I complicated the impregnation somewhat. Usually, the roll is coated with sour cream, egg or butter, but I made a curd coating, which is the most delicious.

  • Pita.
  • Apples – 5-6 pcs.
  • Sugar – 2 huge spoons + small spoon for soaking.
  • Walnut kernels – 100 gr.
  • Cinnamon – ½ small spoon.
  • Cottage cheese – 50 gr.
  • Milk - as needed.
  • Testicle.
  • Sweet powder.

Rinse the fruit and dry slightly. Cut out the core with the seeds. Cut the rest into not very large cubes.

Add a drop of oil to the frying pan, heat it up, and add the apple tenderloin. Fry over moderate heat for a couple of minutes.

Sprinkle with sugar and continue to fry for a couple more minutes, stirring frequently.

At the same time, chop the nut kernels with a knife.

Pour them into the pan, stir. At the same time, sprinkle the filling with cinnamon. Cook until the apples are soft. Do not overcook so that the cubes do not fall apart; in some types of apples this happens quite quickly.

Make the impregnation for the pita bread. To do this, put cottage cheese in a bowl, break an egg, add a spoonful of sugar, and pour in milk. Whisk the mixture, it should turn out watery. Adjust the amount of milk yourself.

Spread a sheet of pita bread on the countertop. Wrap the edge, folding it in half, as in the photo.

Place the apple filling on the double edge.

Generously brush the surface of the flatbread with the curd mixture. Coat all places where there is no inside.

Start wrapping the pita bread into a roll.

Coat any turn with impregnation again.

Place the finished strudel on a baking sheet and brush the top with the filling again.

Place in the oven preheated to 180°C for almost 10-15 minutes. When the top is nicely browned, take it out.

Cool the dessert slightly, cut into pieces and invite to the table.

Lavash strudel with apples and cottage cheese and raisins in the oven

A very tasty dessert for quick tea. There is no sugar in the recipe, so I advise you to use the sweetest apples.

  • Pita.
  • Apples – 2 pcs.
  • Testicle.
  • Raisins - a handful.
  • Cinnamon – ½ teaspoon.
  • Cottage cheese -180 gr.
  1. Steam the raisins with boiling water in advance. After a quarter of an hour, drain the liquid and dry the berries.
  2. Peel the fruits and grate them on a large-mesh grater.
  3. Spread the flatbread sheet and lay out a thin layer of apples, filling the surface one-half full.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if you decide to add sweetness, sugar is added specifically at this moment.
  5. Scatter raisins over the inside.
  6. Crumble the cottage cheese on top, making sure it lies in a continuous layer.
  7. Roll the pita bread into a roll, tucking the edges of the flatbread inward.
  8. Brush the strudel with beaten egg and place on the middle rack of the oven. Bake at 180-200 o C for 12-15 minutes.

Ceremonial strudel with apples from lavash

Feel free to offer it to your guests, as no one will guess that the delicacy was prepared indescribably quickly. It will be delicious - I guarantee it.

  • Armenian lavash leaf.
  • Cottage cheese – 150 gr.
  • Apples - a couple.
  • Pear, big.
  • A handful of nuts, raisins.
  • Honey - a big spoon.
  • Yolk.

Cinnamon - to taste.

  1. Place the cottage cheese in a bowl, add honey, and mash the mixture well.
  2. Chop the fruit into small cubes and stir in one bowl. Add cinnamon and stir again.
  3. Straighten the flatbread, lay out the curd mass, stepping back from the 1st edge by approximately half a centimeter.
  4. Make a fruit layer on top.
  5. Scatter pre-steamed raisins and crushed nuts.
  6. Carefully roll into a tight log. To prevent the inside from falling out, tuck the side edges inward.
  7. Cover the semi-finished strudel with a layer of yolk and transfer to a baking dish.
  8. Cook at 180 o C, setting the timer for 15-20 minutes.

Nowadays, narrow pita bread is widely used by almost all housewives. You can use it to make rolls, rolls, and envelopes with different sweet and savory insides. They can be fried in a pan or baked in the oven.

For real strudel, stretch dough is made.
To prepare it, you need time, skill and dexterity. Or you can use puff pastry. The version with lavash, in my opinion, is the most frisky, one might say, lazy. No need to knead or roll out the dough. All you need to do is create the filling, roll up the strudel and bake in minutes. This is extremely convenient when time is limited.

The strudel with fragrant apple insides comes out tender and tasty. And not everyone will immediately understand that it is not made from dough, but from ordinary lavash.

No hassles with dough! Lazy apple strudel from lavash - in 15 minutes a crispy apple dessert for tea!

This is truly a lazy recipe!

No hassles with either the dough or the insides, and in just 15 minutes you get a crispy strudel made from the thinnest lavash with juicy apple insides.
You don’t even have to preheat the oven; the strudel is fried in a frying pan in oil.
You can, of course, bake it in the oven and put various goodies in the filling, but that’s if time permits. And when you don’t have it, use the most common and spirited recipe for apple strudel.

Inside:
The apples for the inside need to be finely chopped, and a chopper will do the job perfectly. If you don’t have it, you will still have to work a little or get a jar of apples prepared for pies from the supplies.

Ingredients:
– lavash sheets – 2 pieces (huge, rectangular);
– apples – 10-12 pcs;
- sugar - to taste;
— ground cinnamon – 0.5 tsp (to taste);
— butter – 50-70 g;
- sweet powder - for decoration.

Manufacturing:

If you have a food processor or chopper, then skip the first step of the recipe for lazy apple strudel from pita bread. Of all the steps you will only need to cut the apples into 4 parts and remove the seeds. In the absence of kitchen helpers, we arm ourselves with a sharp knife and finely chop the apples. We do not peel off the skin.

When the most painful work is done, heat up the frying pan and melt the butter in it. Transfer the apples to the oil and stir. Make the fire low so that the apples simmer and do not burn. Cover with a lid for quick cooking.

Add sugar to softened apples to taste.
Continue simmering the apple strudel filling until cooked. Everything will take no more than 10 minutes.

Cinnamon or nutmeg will help to highlight the taste of apples and give the inside of the strudel a pleasant smell. You need to add spices to the finished apples when you remove them from the heat.

The finished apples will be soft, but will retain their shape. Summer apples are the softest and will turn into almost puree the fastest, but this will not affect the appearance of the lazy strudel or its taste.

.

Lay out a large sheet of pita bread on the kitchen table.
Scatter the filling. Do not put apples in a continuous layer - it will be difficult to roll the pita bread and you will end up with a solid interior. Excess of the inside will worsen the taste of the strudel - apart from the apples, nothing will be felt.

Carefully roll the strudel with apples into a roll, pressing lightly.
We leave one edge free from the inside and moisten it with water (this is necessary so that the strudel does not unfold).

Cut the roll in half. Then cut each half into small pieces.

Place the strudel in a frying pan with heated oil and brown the bottom.

When the bottom side becomes golden and crispy, turn the lavash strudel over and fry the other side.

Serve apple strudel hot, warm or cooled.
It's very, very tasty! Especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cup of fragrant tea. Bon appetit!
