I no longer remember how this excellent recipe came to me, but it still helps me out to this day, when I have to make a quick dinner, or in the case of guests who have fallen out of the blue. And there were times when he was just a salvation 2 days before payday. I would like to share the recipe with you, I hope you like it.

Ingredients

Potato 2 pcs.
Onion 1 PC.
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Margarine 10 g
Salt taste
Drink 1/2 l
Soda 1/2 tsp.
Testicles 3 pcs.

  • The drink is suitable for any fat content; instead, you can use yogurt, unsweetened yogurt, fermented baked milk, sour cream.
  • If you have baking powder, you can replace the soda with it, but the amount must be doubled. Choose medium-sized potatoes and onions.

Step by step recipe

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut into circles 0.5 cm wide. Cut the peeled onion into half rings.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring 0.5 liters of water to a boil and throw the potatoes into it.
  3. When the water boils again, wait 2-3 minutes, remove the pan from the stove and drain the water. The potatoes must be undercooked.
  4. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and put onion half rings. Fry, stirring frequently, until golden brown and set aside.
  5. Drive 3 eggs into a bowl, mix the whites and yolks well. Add 1/2 liter of kefir, half a teaspoon each of soda and salt and one and a half cups of flour. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Add another one and a half cups of flour and mix well. The thickness of the dough should correspond to sour cream or pancake dough.
  6. Line a baking dish with baking paper and grease with margarine.
  7. Pour half the dough into the mold, lay out the potato mugs.
  8. Sprinkle the fried onions sparingly, add a little salt and pour in the second half of the dough.
  9. Heat the oven to 180° and place the pie pan in it for 40-50 minutes.
  10. Remove the finished pie from the oven, cut into pieces and place on a plate.

How to decorate a pie

Ingredients

  • The traditional recipe uses thick Greek yogurt. We can’t find it here, so the closest thing to it will be low-fat sour cream. You need a large cucumber or 2 smaller ones.
  • If you don't have olive oil, you can create a sauce without it, but you shouldn't use anything else.
  • Wine vinegar cannot be replaced with anything else. But when it's not there, I add lemon juice. I advise you to do the same for you. And may the Greeks forgive us.

Step-by-step production

  1. Wash the cucumber and, if it has a very rough skin, cut it off with a knife. Grate the peeled cucumber on a large grater. Place in a small strainer and squeeze out the juice. It is not needed in our recipe.
  2. Place a glass of sour cream and grated cucumber in a bowl, press 1-2 cloves of garlic through a press, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 drops of vinegar. Salt to taste, mix and serve.

After this, leave to cool, transferring to a separate container. Also at this step you can cook saury, for which you just need to put it in a bowl and mash it with a fork. As a rule, it is necessary to consume canned food in oil.

At this time, let's make the dough, for which we combine the drink, eggs, salt and sugar in a container, mix until smooth. After this, sift the flour and soda into the mixture and bring the dough to the state of sour cream. If desired, soda can be extinguished with vinegar or lemon juice.

  • Mayonnaise – 200 gr.
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Flour – 1 cup.
  • Drink – 500 ml.
  • Soda - half a tsp.
  • Sugar – 15 gr.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • Potatoes – 4-5 pcs.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 50 gr.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste.

Let's get to the internals first. We peel the onions and potatoes, then cut them into similar narrow strips. Place the potatoes in boiling water and cook for a few minutes, then drain in a colander. Place the onion and butter in a heated frying pan, then bring it to a golden color and transfer it to the potatoes in a bowl.

  • Margarine or butter – 100 gr.
  • Chicken egg – 3 pcs.
  • Flour – 250 gr.
  • Baking powder or soda.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • Potatoes – 3-5 pieces.
  • Chicken fillet – 250-300 gr.
  • Onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste.
  • Sesame - to taste.

Let's deal with the inside first, because it will need time to cool. Peel the potatoes and onions, wash the fillet. Cut the potatoes and fillets into narrow strips, and the onion into half rings. It must be brought to a golden color in a frying pan. Leave to cool.

For the dough, lightly beat the eggs with salt, add yogurt or sour cream to them, and bring until smooth. Then add soft butter or margarine and mix lightly. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture and knead the dough. Add all the filling to it and mix.

Grease the mold and place the dough in it. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired. Place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, where we leave to cook for 60 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.

  • Salt - to taste.
  • Boiled potatoes – 3-5 pcs.
  • Mushrooms – 300 gr.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • Flax seeds - optional.

First, let's prepare the filling. Peel the potatoes and let them cook until tender, then mash them into a puree. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces and fry in a frying pan until cooked. Leave to cool.

For the dough, beat eggs with kefir and mayonnaise. Add vegetable oil to the melted butter and mix, then add to the total mass. Stir, add salt and a little sugar as desired. Sift flour and baking powder, then knead into a homogeneous dough without lumps.

  • Onion – 1 small.
  • Butter – 50 gr.
