It can be cabbage rolls with meat, cutlets, meatballs, fried chicken, or, which is both tasty and nutritious, chicken with pineapple and cheese. Chicken with pineapple is a favorite dish of almost everyone. It’s easy to prepare, there’s a lot at once - as much as will fit on a baking sheet. Well, it heats up easily, even in the microwave, in just a few minutes.

Now suddenly an idea has arisen, it’s not enough to dream up the subject of varying Italian pizza with an interesting interior. So to speak - combine Italian pizza and our “chicken with pineapple” dish. Taking into account, when making chicken, all the products that are usually used for pizza topping are used: chicken, cheese, onions, etc. Forgetting for a second that pizza has Italian roots, we remember that pizza has long been part of the global culinary heritage.

They already distinguish, in addition to Italian pizza, South American, Australian, Brazilian, etc. pizzas. Large chains of pizzerias have been opened all over the world, offering, along with traditional Italian pizzas: marinara, Neapolitana, margherita, diavolo - also local versions of pizza, often with very exotic names and internals.

Usually, even in Italy, pizzaiolos “deviate” from the classics, introducing something special into the recipe. Only tomatoes, cheese and olive oil are unshakable. And, of course, the dough. Everything else is just a fantasy.

Therefore, pizza with pineapples, chicken, mozzarella and parmesan, with delicious tomato sauce is a good option, as we have confirmed. So, let's prepare homemade pizza with pineapples and chicken.

Ingredients for pineapple pizza

  • Pizza dough 400 g
  • Chicken (thigh) 3 pcs
  • Basil 2-3 sprigs
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.

Chicken and pineapple pizza is my kids' favorite. Indeed, what emerges is an extremely fascinating combination of flavors - the piquancy of cheese, the sweetness of canned pineapple slices, the juiciness of chicken breast, and all this on a fragrant sunny flatbread.

As a base for this homemade pizza for us, I suggest using pumpkin dough - it is tasty and extremely tender, not to mention how appetizing it looks. But you have the right to create a pizza using your own favorite dough. your favorite. If you haven’t chosen one yet, I highly recommend trying Italian pizza dough – it’s incredibly successful

The finished pizza with chicken and pineapple comes out 30 cm in diameter - this is the usual size. The number of servings (8) is quite arbitrary - someone can eat the entire pizza, but for someone even 1 piece is completely enough.

Making a dish step by step:

To make this delicious pizza for us, we will need the following ingredients: pizza dough, chicken breast, canned pineapple, any tomato sauce, hard cheese, a pinch of salt and refined vegetable oil.

We immediately preheat the oven to 190 degrees, because we will be assembling the pizza quickly. Wash the chicken breast in cool water, dry it very, very carefully and fry in hot vegetable oil on both sides - almost a couple of minutes on each side. The juices will remain inside, and the meat will be covered with a slightly golden crust. Do not over-dry - the inside of the chicken breast should still remain pinkish.

Remove the half-cooked chicken breast from the frying pan, cool slightly and cut into medium pieces.

The pizza dough must be rolled out with a rolling pin or stretched with your hands into a narrow flat cake. Place the pizza base on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Lubricate the entire surface of the flatbread with tomato sauce, ketchup or tomato paste slightly diluted in water.

Lay out the pieces of chicken, distributing them sparingly over the entire surface of the tortilla.

After this, slices of canned pineapple. You can cut it smaller or use halves of pucks, like I did.

And finally, sprinkle the pizza with hard cheese, crushed on a large grater.

Cook pizza with chicken and pineapples in a hot oven for 15 minutes at 190 degrees.

Place on a suitable sized plate or wooden board and serve.

Greetings, dear friends and guests of the culinary website Home Restaurant! As you probably already guessed from the name of the recipe, we currently have Hawaiian pizza with chicken fillet and the freshest pineapple on our menu. how pizza is prepared in the fiftieth state of the USA (the United States of America is a state in North America) , and the Hawaiian Islands still remain my quiet tourist dream, but I tried to convey the whole atmosphere of this dish, and you see, it seems that I got it all out!

Unique Hawaiian Pizza Recipe

I can assure you that homemade Hawaiian pizza comes out much tastier than in a pizzeria, mostly due to the perfectly selected ingredients and, obviously, the thin dough. I prepared the pizza sauce according to a proven recipe, so that there would probably be no surprises.

How does it taste?

Pizza with pieces of chicken fillet and the freshest pineapples turned out exactly as I imagined it for myself: sweet and sour pineapple perfectly mixes with the neutral-tasting chicken fillet, and notes of garlic in tomato sauce in the company of mozzarella cheese complete the flavor spectrum of this dish.

Dough ingredients

(for 4 pizzas with a diameter of 22-25 cm):

  • 400 gr. flour
  • 200 ml. water warm water (36-40 degrees)
  • 4 tsp dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil (or any vegetable oil)

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • 600 gr. tomatoes (or 500 grams of tomato juice)
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp starch
  • 1 tsp Sahara
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 0.5 tsp Mediterranean herbs

Ingredients for the inside

  • 350 gr. pineapple (fresh or canned)
  • 300 gr. boiled chicken fillet
  • 300 mozzarella cheese

Manufacturing stages

We start making pizza by preparing the ingredients for the interior. To ensure that the inside comes out juicy and not too moist, I recommend boiling the chicken fillet until tender in salted water with a bay leaf. The boiled chicken breast must be cooled and cut into thin slices, approximately as in my photo.

You can also use ready-made smoked chicken fillet, but if you are preparing Hawaiian pizza for children, I still recommend boiling the chicken breast yourself.

Next, peel and cut the pineapple into thin slices. If you are using canned pineapple, try to cut it as thin as possible. For this recipe, choose canned pineapple in pieces - it will be easier to cut. As a standard, of course, it is best to use the freshest pineapple - fragrant, with a tropical and inimitable sweet and sour taste.

Grate the mozzarella cheese using a large grater. We put all the ingredients for our pizza in the refrigerator.

Prepare thin pizza dough:

In a deep bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, yeast, salt and sugar.

Add warm water and olive oil.

Mix with a whisk or spoon.

Then we gather the dough into a ball with our hands and carefully knead it with our hands until the ball becomes even and smooth. Cover the dough with a cloth and place in a warm space to proof for 40 minutes.

After the designated time, the dough will become softer and increase by approximately 1.5 times, not more. This is normal and you should not expect a powerful growth of yeast dough in volume, like for an apple pie, for example.

Preparing tomato sauce

For the recipe, I prepared regular pizza sauce, like in a pizzeria, which never lets me down. I wrote earlier how to prepare pizza sauce with step-by-step photos. And in short, then: grate the tomatoes on a small grater, keeping the skin very much. If you don’t have new tomatoes, it’s okay, use tomato juice without salt and sugar, then you won’t have to grate anything.

Add olive oil, salt, sugar and spices to the grated tomatoes. Mix and put on the stove. Bring the sauce to a boil, boil for 2-3 minutes, and then add starch. Stir the starch so that it does not form a lump, add the garlic passed through a press and remove the sauce from the stove. We need to wait until the sauce cools to room temperature and acquires the thickness that suits us.

Next, divide the pizza dough into four similar parts.

Roll out and add filling

We take one ball to work, and roll it out on the tabletop using a rolling pin into a circle of 22-25 cm, and cover the rest of the dough with a cloth so that it does not dry out.

Place the dough piece on a baking sheet with baking paper and brush with sauce.

Place pieces of chicken fillet on top.

And then it’s the pineapple’s turn.

How to bake in the oven correctly

Sprinkle the pizza with cheese and place it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. for 15 minutes. In the oven, be sure to turn on the “top and bottom” mode or the “pizza” mode.

In 15 minutes our pizza will be ready. All you have to do is wait a few minutes so that the pizza cools down a bit and can be served.

We cut the pineapple and chicken pizza into portions and enjoy an extremely tasty homemade pizza.
