Curd and banana casserole: top 5 regular recipes for the oven

What could be simpler than cottage cheese casserole with banana in the oven? I mixed all the ingredients, put it in a mold and sent it out to bake - that’s easy. How appetizing and tasty! At the same time, cottage cheese and banana casserole can be prepared in the oven in different ways - with or without semolina, with raisins or apples, in portions or for a large family, and there are also dietary recipes that are allowed even for those losing weight!

Secrets of delicious cottage cheese casseroles with banana

Whatever recipe for cottage cheese and banana casserole you choose, remember a few points - they are the ones that guarantee a successful outcome :

  • bananas must be very ripe , in other words, their skin is bright yellow with small dark dots;
  • perfect cottage cheese for casseroles - medium fat content, tender (without dry grains), not very wet, without sour aftertaste. If you can’t find it in the shops around town, then you can squeeze out this curd perfectly, and you’ll actually get what you need.

Portioned casseroles without semolina and flour

Baking with cottage cheese is not always successful. But not in this case! We are talking about a cottage cheese casserole, but not a completely ordinary one. quicker mini-desserts; they are made in portions in small molds. This, as it turns out, is very comfortable and wonderful, and also indescribably delicious - the casseroles turn out to be very tender and moderately sweet. They just need to be well cooled.

Ingredients (for 3-4 servings):

  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 0.5 tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 testicles
  • 2 tbsp. l. corn starch
  • 2 tbsp. l. Sahara
  • 1 banana
  • butter - for greasing the molds

Manufacturing method step by step:

Beat the eggs well with sugar, you can add vanillin, but it will overwhelm the subtle creamy banana smell, I like it without it.

Add cornstarch to the bowl and mix thoroughly until no lumps remain.

Now put the cottage cheese and sour cream in a bowl, beat everything with a blender or mixer until smooth.

The mixture will be quite watery, but that’s how it’s supposed to be. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then mix well again.

Grease baking pans with butter and place ripe banana slices on the bottom.

Pour the curd mixture into the molds, not reaching 2-3 centimeters to the edge.

These mini-casseroles of cottage cheese with banana are baked in the oven for about half an hour, temperature - 180 degrees. During this period of time they will rise and brown perfectly.

Be sure to cool the golden-brown curd pastries!

By the way, I strongly recommend adding a spoonful of sour cream or unsweetened yogurt when serving, the combination will be simply beautiful. Bon appetit!

Cottage cheese casserole with banana

Wednesday, May 11, 2016

Now I decided to share with you a step-by-step recipe for cottage cheese casserole in the oven. This homemade dessert will contain only ordinary and completely affordable products, and the manufacturing process itself will pleasantly surprise you with its ease. The finished cottage cheese casserole comes out very tasty, tender, smooth, juicy, fragrant and healthy - a good breakfast or afternoon snack for the whole family.

I propose to create a cottage cheese casserole with the addition of a huge amount of ripe and fragrant bananas. Moreover, these fruits will be in the dish in two versions: in the form of puree and in pieces. Due to the acid content in the cottage cheese, the banana slices will not darken, and the casserole itself will also turn out light, with a creamy color scheme. Well, I don’t think it’s even worth mentioning how fragrant the finished baked goods smell...

Ingredients:

Making a dish step by step:

The recipe for this delicious cottage cheese casserole includes the following ingredients: cottage cheese, sour cream, bananas, chicken eggs, sweet sand, corn starch, vanillin and salt. Take cottage cheese and sour cream of any fat content that you like best. We use medium-sized chicken eggs. Bananas (also medium-sized) must be ripe, but not wrinkled, without black spots on the flesh. Whether to add flavoring (I'm talking about vanillin) or not is up to you. Well, a pinch of salt is needed in order to balance the taste of the finished casserole made from cottage cheese and bananas. All products should be at room temperature.

Immediately turn on the oven to 160 degrees - let it heat up. Meanwhile, put 600 grams of cottage cheese (I have 5% fat content) in a suitable bowl, add 170 grams of sugar and a pinch of salt and vanillin (you can replace it with a teaspoon of vanilla sugar).

Next add 250 grams of sour cream (I used 20% fat).

If you want the finished cottage cheese casserole to come out completely smooth and very tender, without a single grain of cottage cheese, I advise you to use an immersion blender. This assistant grinds all products to a homogeneous puree. If you don’t have such an accessory, then you will have to rub the cottage cheese through a sieve (preferably twice), and chop some of the bananas using a grater or a fork. Using an immersion blender, beat cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanillin and salt until a paste-like mass is obtained. Then add one egg at a time and punch everything again.

The result is a fairly liquid dough (a little thinner than pancakes). We peel 2 bananas and break the pulp directly into the dough, after which we punch everything again with a blender.

It's time to add a thickener for our cottage cheese casserole - it will be corn starch, of which 5 level tablespoons will be useful. If you don’t have corn specifically (it’s more tender), use potato, but you need less of it - 3-3.5 tablespoons is enough.

We combine the dough and starch using the same blender to make a batter like this. Based on the mixture, it comes out as a drink.

All that remains is to add two more bananas to the future cottage cheese casserole, which must first be peeled and cut into random pieces, not large or small. Simply stir the fruit slices into the batter with a spoon.

Pour all the dough into a suitable sized baking dish. I have a silicone square one, measuring 18x18 cm at the bottom, 20x20 cm at the top and 6 cm high. I didn’t lubricate the mold with anything. Bake the cottage cheese casserole in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 1 hour. Production time may vary depending on the size and height of the mold, as well as the characteristics of the oven.

The finished cottage cheese casserole with banana will rise quite well. We take it out of the oven and cool it one hundred percent in the pan.

After cooling, it will settle - this is typical for all cottage cheese casseroles.

Remove it from the mold and place it on a plate.

Cut into portions and you can serve.

This simple recipe produces a truly wonderful, warm, moderately sweet, very fragrant and savory cottage cheese casserole. Banana slices hold their shape perfectly and look presentable in the finished dish. Give it a try, I highly recommend it.

You can use a blender, then the casserole will have a uniform texture. But I like the most textured casserole, so I’ll leave the cottage cheese grainy.

Their number depends on the size of the fruit. For a mold with a diameter of 20 cm, I needed 1.5 bananas.

Place bananas on the bottom of the pan. Which must be lubricated with vegetable oil in advance.

I took a mold with a diameter of 20 cm. My ingredients fit in it just perfectly.
