Let’s replenish our piggy bank with recipes for regular and savory salads – now we’ll prepare a savory and juicy Rainbow salad. By the way, on the vast global network you can find many variants of this dish: some cook with beets, while others add croutons. But my recipe for Rainbow salad is completely different!

Like almost all other light salad recipes (for example, Ham and Cheese cocktail salad), the Rainbow can be perfectly served on the table and will turn out to be a festive option. So, the recipe for this light salad includes the following ingredients: ham or boiled smoked pork chops, chicken eggs, fresh cucumber and tomato, hard cheese, canned corn, sour cream and mayonnaise (preferably homemade) for dressing. First, let’s cook the chicken eggs for 10 minutes until they come out hard-boiled. Meanwhile, cut all other products into cubes (the size of the smallest ingredient - corn). Let's start with the cheese.

Then we grind the boiled-smoked meat. By the way, you can take chicken or pork ham.

Wash and dry the cucumber, and then cut it into small cubes.

Let's do the same with tomatoes. If yours is very soft and runny, remove the seeds and juice.

  1. We will cut all the ingredients into cubes and immediately place them in heaps on a serving plate. First, remove the bell pepper from the seeds and tail, wash and chop. Place it in a mound on one edge of the plate.
  2. Slice the boiled chicken breast and place in the center of the plate.
  3. Slice the unblemished tomato and place it on the side opposite the pepper.
