Recipe for “Mega apple pie with kefir”:

We present to your attention a delicious apple pie made with kefir; it tastes better than charlotte and is easier to prepare. Why it’s not bad: the apples are not immersed in the dough, but simply laid on top, which means they are baked better. The dough is prepared much easier and faster than for charlotte, so in a short time you will mix all the ingredients for the dough and immediately put it in the oven to bake. There is no need to beat anything with a mixer for a long time, which already saves time.

Sometimes baking is so financially expensive (includes almond flour or coconut milk) that not any home budget can support such waste. And the current recipe can easily be classified as an economical dessert. Every housewife always has leftover kefir in the refrigerator, and apples can often be found on the shelves at low prices. If these fruits grew in your dacha, then you can bake a pie for almost pennies.

Pie ingredients:

  • 500 g flour;
  • 2 pcs. chicken eggs;
  • 200 g sweet sand;
  • 0.5 tsp. l. soda;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • 3 apples;
  • 200 g kefir.

How to make apple pie with kefir

Before starting production, it is important to turn on the oven so that the baked goods come out perfect and are one hundred percent baked. Turning on the oven later may cause the top to brown while the bottom remains soggy. We immediately set it to 180°.

Take a bowl for kneading the dough: drive chicken eggs into it and add sweet sand, beat with a whisk until the sugar melts. You don’t necessarily need to use a mixer, the dough will already be fluffy.

Pour the drink into the beaten egg mixture and stir again with a whisk.

Add a little flour, a pinch of salt and soda. Take the whisk again and stir. Add the remaining flour until the dough is not too runny.

Manufacturing method:

1. Wash the apples under running water, cut them in half, and remove the stem.

2. Cut the fruit into small slices.

3. We begin to prepare the dough. Break two eggs into a deep bowl and add 200 - 250 grams. sweet sand and a pinch of salt, beat with a broom.

4. Pour in a glass of kefir, mix thoroughly, dissolve the sweet sand.

5. Add 1.5 cups of flour and a pinch of soda, beat well. The mass should be as thick as sour cream.
