Recipe for “Layer Pie with Mushrooms and Cheese”:
Defrost the dough, roll it out to a rectangle. And set the dough aside to rest.
Chop the onions, mushrooms, dill and grate the cheese on a large grater.
Heat the frying pan and add sunflower oil, now that the oil is hot, fry the onions and mushrooms until they become soft.
When the onions and mushrooms have become soft, add dill, salt, pepper and butter. And we bring it to readiness.
We take our rested dough, put a pad of cheese on one half of the dough, and fill it with mushrooms on top.

Layer pie with mushrooms and sour cream
Layered pie with mushrooms and cheese is not only tasty and indescribably fragrant, but also satisfying. Due to the fact that the recipe consists of store-bought puff pastry, making this pastry will not take you much time. The pie dough comes out narrow and crispy, and the mushroom inside is juicy. Instead of champignons, you can use other fresh mushrooms, for example, chanterelles or honey mushrooms.
First, peel the onion head and wash it under running water. For this recipe, I took a larger onion so that the inside would be juicy. Cut the onion in half and cut it into a small cube.
Heat a small amount of clarified vegetable oil in a medium-sized frying pan. I fried vegetables in sunflower oil without aroma. Cold-pressed olive oil will also work. While stirring, we will sauté the onion in oil until it becomes transparent and soft.
Then carefully transfer the prepared onion into a dry bowl so that it cools slightly.
We will wash and clean the mushrooms. Let's cut them into fairly large pieces, because they will shrink in size during the frying process. For this recipe I used the freshest medium sized mushrooms. So I cut them in half and cut them into thin slices.
Pour the chopped mushrooms into the frying pan in which the onions were sautéed. There is no need to add additional vegetable oil, because the champignons will release juice during frying. Stirring the mushrooms from time to time, fry them until all the moisture has evaporated from the pan.
Then put the champignons into a bowl with sautéed onions.
Grind hard cheese on a grater. For the pie, I used Russian cheese, but another variety would also work, for example, Dutch, Gouda, or Cheddar.
Add grated cheese to sautéed onions with fried champignons.
Next, according to the recipe, add 3 tablespoons of sour cream to the remaining ingredients, it will make the filling the most juicy and tender. It is better to use thicker sour cream so that the pie dough does not get soggy during baking.
Now salt the filling to taste (keep in mind that hard cheese can be salty). Season the mixture of ingredients with black hot pepper, dried dill and herbs de Provence. These spices mix perfectly with mushrooms and cheese, highlighting their taste. If desired, you can add fresh herbs, for example, parsley or basil.
Mix the mixture thoroughly.
Defrost the finished dough according to the instructions on the product packaging. Sprinkle the working surface lightly with wheat flour so that the dough does not stick to it.
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a layer 3-4 mm wide. If you are using a clay or iron baking dish, it is better to cover it with parchment in advance. Place the dough in a mold (mine is 20 cm across) and form sides 4 cm high. Carefully trim off the excess dough with a knife. Prick the dough around the entire perimeter with a fork so that it does not deform during baking.
Now put the filling of champignons with onions and hard cheese on top of the dough and spread it in an even layer, as the recipe asks.
Separate the yolk from the white (we will not use it). Lightly beat the yolk with a fork and brush it over the edges of the pie and the filling using a pastry brush. This will ensure that the inside remains juicy and the edges of the baked goods turn golden.
Place the pie in the pre-heated oven. We will bake it until done (approximately 30-35 minutes) at 180 degrees.
Take the baked goods out of the oven. Let the cake cool in the pan for 7-10 minutes and carefully transfer it to a serving dish. Wash the green onion feathers, dry them and chop them into small rings. Sprinkle the pie with chopped green onions and serve it hot, cutting it into portions. The cooled layer cake can later be reheated in the microwave, then it will again taste like a freshly baked one.

- 2 onions;
- 1 chicken egg;
- spices, herbs.
The dish does not require special preparation: the dough is already ready - you just need to peel and process the vegetables. Peel onions, potatoes and carrots. Wash the mushrooms and cut into slices, fry in a frying pan in butter along with finely chopped onion. Boil the potatoes separately (to quickly bring them to readiness, finely chop them in advance), mash them into a puree and mix with mushrooms and onions. - 200 grams of minced meat;
- 200 grams of asparagus or green beans;
- 2 onions.
First you need to prepare the filling. Fry minced meat (it is better to take low-fat types) in a frying pan with onions. Boil the rice in salted water until tender. Separately create the dough, or rather the filling for the pie. Beat the eggs with salt, pour in the drink and soda slaked with vinegar. After the corresponding bubbles appear, knead the dough with the addition of flour. It should turn out liquid like pancakes.
You can form a layer cake with mushrooms. Be sure to line the pan with parchment paper or foil. The first layer will be mushrooms, followed by grated cheese. Later, ready-boiled rice is laid out, followed by minced meat fried with onions. The outermost layer of the pyramid given to us will be beans or asparagus; if necessary, it must be thawed and lightly fried beforehand.

- 4 chicken eggs;
- 350 ml. kefir;
- 300 g flour;
- a teaspoon of salt;
- 2 teaspoons baking powder.
Beat the eggs and add a warm drink, add salt. Thoroughly mix the flour with baking powder and add to the kefir. The prepared dough mixture is similar to that used for pancakes.
For the interior you will need:
- 200 grams of hard cheese;
- 200 grams of sauerkraut;
- 200 grams of mushrooms;
- 150 g minced meat
- 2 onions.
To make a layer pie with cabbage and mushrooms, you must first prepare all the vegetables and meat. The minced meat should be fried in a frying pan and set aside.
