To make these cakes we need very few ingredients :
puff pastry dough – 1 pack (I have 470 g)
butter – 100 g.

A package of puff pastry contains 2 square sheets, roll out any of them in one direction until a rectangular shape is obtained.
We cut any rectangle into 4 parts, thus obtaining 8 sheets of dough.

Overall, both my husband and I liked the cake. The husband said that the taste and appearance reminded him of Napoleon cakes. The taste was very tender, with a light lemon note (it was not in vain that I added zest to avoid cloying), and this dessert is literally even healthier than a store-bought cake.
