  • bananas 2 pcs.;
  • raisins 100 gr.;
  • garlic 2-3 cloves;
  • chopped walnut kernels 20 g;
  • dressing mayonnaise, for vegetable eaters - vegetarian mayonnaise.

How to prepare an unusual salad for the New Year's table

  1. Peel the boiled beets and grate them on a large grater.
  2. Peel the bananas and cut into large cubes.
  3. Steam the raisins in boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Pass the garlic through a press.
  5. Our New Year's salad will consist of several layers. To make the process easier, we use a salad ring. When laying out any layer, we try not to compact it, but to make it as loose and airy as possible.

6. The first layer of salad consists of beets. Then comes a layer of mayonnaise. We do not spread the mayonnaise, but squeeze it out in small dots over the surface. The spot application of the dressing makes the salad more airy, which certainly enriches the taste of this dish.

When I was preparing this salad, I heard the sound of Christmas bells and “Jingle Bell...”. The smell of pine needles and a frosty morning, a solemn mood was guaranteed for me for the whole year, and I didn’t look out the window, let this feeling last longer!

Salad

  • Kishmish grapes – 350 g
  • Canned pineapple – 1 can
  • Hard cheese – 300 g
  • Garlic – 3 cloves

Mayonnaise

  • Dijon mustard – 0.5 tsp.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice – 0.5 tsp.
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.

Then cut the canned pineapple rings (without water) into small cubes and add them to a common cup.
