Step by step recipe

First, let's select excellent, good-quality tubers. It would be better if they were the same size. In this case, potato wedges on the table will look much more aesthetically pleasing. We wash suitable potato tubers under cold running water to remove any contamination they may have. Then the washed potatoes must be peeled. Cut the peeled potato tubers into slices. To do this, first cut the tuber into two halves. Then cut each half into two pieces. 1 medium potato yields 4 identical slices. Place potato wedges in a bowl.

  1. In a separate container, mix mayonnaise, salt, pepper and dried garlic. Both fresh and dried garlic are suitable - we use whatever is available. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything until smooth – it is important that the salt crystals melt.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut into medium-sized slices as in the photo. Mix it with the sauce so that the mayonnaise covers each slice. If you cut them finely, the potatoes will dry out in the oven, and if you cut them coarsely, they simply won’t bake.
