Apple mousse is prepared very simply and quickly. In addition, the dish turns out to be economical. I advise you to make mousse from greenish apples - it has a great taste. We also need gelatin for the mousse.

Manufacturing Description:

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 250-300 G
  • Water – 500 ml
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp. spoons
  • Gelatin, leaves - 6 pieces
  • Vanillin - 1-2 pinches

Tell me, in what amount of water should I soak the gelatin? And how long to beat with a mixer? And chill in the refrigerator until it hardens?

Gelatin leaves come in different sizes. How many grams?

Usually a leaf of gelatin is equal to 3 g of regular one. For 500 ml of water you need 10-20 g of gelatin. With all this, 10 g will give the effect of a “leavening” dessert, and 20 g or more (up to 30) will give a dense one.

The recipe is very tasty, but I have a question. Gelatin leaves - what is it?

Video recipe: Apple mousse with semolina

Step-by-step recipe with photos and videos

Moms will definitely like this recipe, because it happens that a child categorically refuses semolina porridge - for example, my daughter did not really adore it as a child, and I prepared various mousses based on semolina for her, while I used seasonal fruits and berries. It’s very convenient to prepare in the evening, pour into bowls, put in the refrigerator, and serve for breakfast in the morning. Be sure to try to create it, you will see that your children will definitely appreciate such a dish. By the way, from time to time I soak cakes with it, it turns out very tasty.

Prepare all the necessary products to make apple mousse with semolina.

First, wash the apples, peel them, cut them into 4 parts, and remove the core.

Next cut into small pieces.

Place the apple pieces in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.

Advice! If the apples are sweet, reduce the amount of sand or completely abandon it.

Then add cinnamon. If you don’t like it or doubt that your baby will like it, you don’t have to put it in.

Pour in water, place over medium heat and simmer, stirring, until soft, about 7-10 minutes, depending on the type of apple.

Grind into a homogeneous mass; no need to cool.

Add the semolina and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes, while doing this, do not forget to stir so as not to burn.

Cool completely until cool, beat with a blender until a snow-white fluffy mass.

Pour into bowls, decorate with any fruits or berries of your choice.

Apple mousse with gelatin

Cooking: 40 minutes

I am sharing a recipe for making an airy, foamy dessert - apple mousse with gelatin.

In addition to gelatin, apple mousse can be prepared with semolina or beaten egg whites. But specifically on gelatin, the mousse turns out to be the most porous and foamy. Please your loved ones with such a tasty and, at the same time, completely economical delicacy!

Ingredients

  • Sweet and sour apples – 250 g
  • Granulated sugar – 150 g
  • Gelatin – 15 g
  • Water – 3 tbsp.
  • Vanillin – 1 pinch

How to make apple mousse with gelatin

Pour gelatin into 0.5 cups of cool boiled water, mix and leave for 30 minutes to swell.

Wash the apples, cut them in half, remove the seeds, and cut the pulp into thin slices.

Pour 2.5 cups of hot water over the apples.

Boil apples until soft.

Drain the broth and strain.

Rub the apple slices through a sieve.

Pour sugar into the hot apple broth and add gelatin. Mix everything and heat, stirring, but not to boiling, and then cool.

Pour the cooled syrup into a whipping container and add apple puree and a pinch of vanilla.

Mix everything well.

Beat the mixture with a mixer until a snow-white foamy mass forms.

As soon as the mixture thickens slightly, quickly pour it into bowls or vases and cool.
