Having prepared the ingredients, you can take on the dough itself. The “Miracle” cake, or rather its shortcakes, is made from custard.

How to easily prepare cake dough

That's not all - the pan must be placed in a water bath again for about 4 minutes and heated, stirring continuously. The eggs should not be boiled - otherwise you will end up with a sweet omelet, and you will have to start preparing the “Miracle” cake from the beginning. After the designated 4 minutes, add soda to the mixture - the viscous liquid will begin to increase in volume. This is a common reaction, continue stirring your future dough until the mass in the pan increases in volume by 3 times.

Then pour 2 cups of flour into it and quickly brew the dough. If you see that it is a little runny, add about half a glass more flour. And remove the pan from the heat. But this is not yet the dough for the “Miracle” cake. The final step will be the following: pour 1 glass of flour onto the table, then put the brewed mass from the pan into it and mix thoroughly. Your dough mixture should be smooth and elastic. Now roll it into a thick sausage, cut into 6-7 equal parts. These are blanks for future cakes.

When the first small bubbles appear, remove the pan from the heat. You have brewed the cream, now you need to cool it to room temperature, add soft butter to the mixture. Stir and then beat with a mixer or blender until smooth. After a few minutes, add sour cream, beat again for a few minutes. The cream is ready. It can be spread on shortcakes.

Assembling and decorating the cake

Also, as we have already mentioned, the cake can be decorated using scraps from the cakes, crushed into crumbs - sprinkle them on both the top and sides of the product. Easy to make, with excellent results, the cake can be created in just 40 minutes. The cake comes out juicy, tender, soft, sweet. All its properties correspond to my taste preferences. I had to treat almost all the people to the “Miracle” honey cake - everyone was satisfied and almost everyone asked for the recipe. It does have one drawback - after eating a piece, it’s hard to slow down.

Prepare the necessary ingredients. All products must be of high quality: butter with a fat content of 82%, natural honey and, preferably, buckwheat.

Combine honey, sugar and butter in a thick-walled saucepan.

Turn on low heat and, without disturbing, wait until the sugar has completely melted.

Then stir lightly, make sure all the sugar has melted, and add soda.

Stirring rapidly, wait until the mass increases 2-3 times, transforms into a thick lush foam and changes color.

Remove from heat and leave for 5-7 minutes until the mixture cools slightly. In a separate bowl, crack the eggs with a whisk and, stirring quickly, pour them into the pan.

When the mass becomes homogeneous, add half a portion of sifted flour and mix quickly.

When all the flour has dispersed, add the second part and knead into a soft dough. It will be sticky, but will not stick to your hands.

Roll the dough with a roller and divide into 10 equal parts.

Roll out one piece thinly with a rolling pin and make several punctures with a fork so that the crust does not swell during baking. In order for the cake to be completely even, you need to put a lid on top and cut off the protruding edges.

Place the shortcake in a mold or on a baking sheet and bake for 1-2 minutes in a perfectly preheated oven (200-220 degrees). Bake all the shortcakes this way. In order for the shortbread to be even and without lumps, you need to place something even and heavy on top of the hot shortbread. I used a cutting board and placed a filled decanter on it. The remaining scraps also need to be baked.

When all the shortcakes are ready, you need to give them time to cool and prepare the cream. Place butter in a bowl, add sugar and beat until fluffy and white.

Then add the boiled condensed milk and mix gently with a spatula until smooth.

This is my sister’s signature recipe, tried a thousand times, so I definitely recommend trying it. It will definitely work!

All products are available, the cream comes out very light and airy. And the cake is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 60 gr. butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp. sugar (250 gr.)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp vodka
  • 3 testicles
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 2.5-3 tbsp. flour

Ingredients for cream:

  • 350 gr. Sahara
  • 2 testicles
  • 1.5 tbsp. flour
  • 1.5 tbsp. starch
  • 0.5 l milk
  • 300 gr. butter

Making the cake:

  1. Immediately prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. I bake on two baking sheets, it’s faster and more convenient. Let's turn on the oven.
  2. The dough needs to be created in a water bath. To do this, pour water into a large saucepan and let it heat up. And in a saucepan there is much less, or in a bowl we will knead the dough. Try on the pans immediately so that water does not get into the pan with the dough.
  3. Melt butter and sugar. Add honey and vodka. Remove from the water bath for now.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add baking soda (no need to extinguish it), put it on fire and stir until the mass increases 2-3 times.
  5. Add flour (2 tbsp) here and mix well.
  6. Next, sprinkle the table with flour and lay out our dough. Mix it well so that it practically does not stick to your hands and is soft and flexible.
  7. Divide the dough into 8-9 parts. We begin to roll out each part, while adding flour. The shortbreads need to be rolled out very thin so that they are practically translucent.
  8. About 1 more tbsp. We will need flour when adding it to the table. Roll out all parts of our dough in this way. While some cakes are baking, I roll out the rest.
  9. Place in the oven for 3-4 minutes at 180° and bake until light brown. The shortbread bakes very quickly, so don’t overcook it.
  10. After all the cakes are baked, you need to cut them to your shape and suitable size.
  11. Now let's start with the cream. Grind the sugar and eggs lightly, add flour, starch and finally milk. Stir thoroughly. Place on heat and, stirring, bring to a boil. But don't boil!
  12. Cool to 60° and add soft butter. Mix well.
  13. Apply the cooled cream onto the shortcakes.
  14. Grind the cake scraps in a blender into small crumbs and sprinkle on top of the cake.
  15. Let the cake soak overnight (that is, in the dark) .

It is entirely possible that novice housewives who are beginning to learn the beautiful world of creating desserts will be able to cope with it. Start by preparing the ingredients such as:

For layers:

  • 5 cups (500 g) all-purpose flour;
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar (you can combine brown sugar and granulated sugar together if you wish);
  • three testicles;
  • eight huge spoons (113 g) of unsalted butter;
  • 2 tbsp. lie Honey;
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda.

For cream:

  • 2 cups (500 ml) milk;
  • three testicles;
  • 2 tbsp. (40 g) corn starch;
  • little milk caramel;
  • dining room l. honey;
  • four hundred grams of unsalted butter.

Follow these steps:

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Beat the eggs together and set them aside. Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Place the sugar, butter and honey in a heatproof bowl over bubbling water. Melt, stirring occasionally. Add eggs and stir until pale, about 3-4 minutes. Add baking soda and cook for another minute. Your mixture should be airy and double in size.

Transfer the egg butter mixture to a mixer and add the flour. Mix slowly until combined, about a couple of minutes. The dough should be warm, soft, slightly sticky. But do not add more flour, so as not to spoil it.

Pour the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently. Knead the dough a couple of times and form into a ball. Divide it into eight similar parts. Make a ball out of each one. Cover them with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel to prevent them from drying out.

Roll out the layers of the cake on a lightly floured surface. Make a circle shape. Use the bottom of the baking dish, cut using a sharp knife according to this template to make an even circle.
