But this grain is irreplaceable in pickle soup and can be added to stuffing for cabbage rolls.

Now we will prepare an appetizing, crumbly pearl barley porridge with mushrooms, onions, carrots and butter. It does not stick together at all, is constantly crumbly and tasty. Even the next day, the porridge retains all its flavor notes; it only needs to be heated using a method that is comfortable for you. To make pearl barley with mushrooms and onions, take the following products.

Wash the pearl barley well and add cool water. Leave to swell for 20-30 minutes. If you have time, you can quit for a couple of hours. Keep in mind that when cooking, its quantity increases 4 times.
