This photo recipe can be classified as a “quick” recipe. Preparing goods takes no more than 10 minutes. You don’t have to fry anything in advance, you just need to cut everything, mix it and put it in the oven. In about another half hour there will be a ready-made vitamin side dish on the table.
Ingredients
- Cabbage: 500 g
- Onions: 1 pc.
- Carrots: 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil: 4 tbsp. l.
- Salt, sugar, spices: to taste
- Bay leaf: 2 pcs.

Finely chop the cabbage with a fork and immediately place it in a deep bowl.
Cut the carrots into cubes and send them there.
Peel and cut the onion. Transfer to other vegetables.
Add spices, salt to taste, add a little sugar and mix.
Grind the ingredients well with your hands and let stand for 5 minutes.
Place the vegetable mixture in a baking sleeve and place a bay leaf on top.
Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees.

- Pork – 600-800 g;
- Fresh cabbage – about 1 kg;
- Pickled – 150-200 g;

- Onion – 1 pc.;
- Carrots – 1 pc.;
- Sweet pepper – 1 pc.;
- Vegetable oil – 4-5 tbsp. l.;
- Salt, spices (dark ground pepper, dry garlic, coriander) - to taste.
Manufacturing method:
- Cut the pork into fairly large pieces and place in a deep plate. Chop the onion into thin half rings, add a little salt and press with your hands. Add to meat.
- Add tomato paste and spices. Mix everything thoroughly and set aside. Let it marinate slightly.
- Meanwhile, shred the cabbage forks. Salt the mixture and knead it with your hands. On a large grater, grate the carrots and cut the pepper into strips. We send vegetables to the marinated pork.
- Add sauerkraut and stir. Grease the bottom of a heat-resistant form with vegetable oil and place the prepared mass into it.

Step-by-step preparation of stewed cabbage in the oven

In a frying pan in a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the peppers and carrots for 5-6 minutes.
Chop the white cabbage into thin long strips. You can use a special grater for this.
Combine the chopped cabbage with fried vegetables and transfer to a heat-proof dish for stewing. Salt and pepper the cabbage, add a bay leaf and a few grains of dark or aromatic pepper.
Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and grate them. Add tomato puree to the cabbage, distributing it sparingly so that it covers the entire cabbage. If the tomatoes are meaty and not juicy enough, add 100-150 ml of water to the roasting pan. If you are preparing a dish in winter or do not have new tomatoes on hand, you can replace them with 3 tbsp. l. tomato paste diluted in one and a half glasses of water.
Simmer the cabbage in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, covering the roasting pan with a lid or a double layer of food foil, then uncover and cook for another 30 minutes.
Tasty and juicy cabbage is ready. Serve it as a side dish with fried sausages, chicken chops or other meat dishes. This cabbage is also good as an independent dish.

Take the ingredients for making stewed cabbage in a jar in the oven. You can take young and late cabbage, or you can use a mix altogether.
Remove the top leaves from the cabbage, cut the cabbage itself into strips or use a special cabbage grater. Place the shredded cabbage in a large bowl.
Peel and wash the carrots, grate the carrots on a medium grater and immediately transfer them to a bowl with cabbage.
Peel the onions, rinse and cut into half rings or cubes. You don’t have to use pepper, but I really like its smell and how it ultimately plays off the taste of cabbage, so cut half the pepper into small pieces and add to the vegetables.
Mash the cabbage and vegetables slightly with your hands, mix everything well. Pour salt, sugar, pepper into the cabbage, add butter.
Next add tomato sauce to the cabbage.
Mix everything thoroughly.
Take a dry, clean jar, without chips or flaws. Fill the jar with cabbage.
Seal the neck of the jar with foil, place on a baking sheet and place in a cool oven, set the temperature to 120 degrees, cook the cabbage for 15 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180 degrees and simmer the cabbage in a jar in the oven for another 60-70 minutes.
After a while, turn off the oven, but do not open it, and remove the cabbage only after 15-20 minutes.

- – olive oil for frying;
- – 500 ml tomato sauce;
- – 100 grams of tomato paste;
- – 1/2 cup (100 ml.) heavy cream;
- – 1 kg of beef.
It is recommended to marinate the meat before starting production, then it will turn out soft and tender. In the meantime, while the meat is marinating, you should prepare the vegetables and other ingredients, and then fry the marinated meat, add vegetables to it, put everything in the oven and soon you will be able to savor a stunning baked cabbage and meat dinner!
How to stew cabbage with meat
First, measure out all the necessary spices and collect them in one plate. Mix and set aside for some time.
Cut the meat into small pieces - 2.5-3 cm or long slices. Place the chopped pieces of meat into a deep bowl, add the seasoning mixture and stir everything thoroughly.
Cut the white cabbage into strips, not very finely.
For previously peeled and washed carrots, pass through a coarse grater.
Place a small part of the cabbage in a pot, and then sprinkle it with some of the carrots. Repeat layering the chopped vegetables. The pot should be 3/4 full of its size.
Pour olive oil into a large frying pan. Heat the frying pan over high heat. Place the meat coated in seasonings into a hot frying pan with bubbling oil, fry so that the surface quickly “seizes”, browns and becomes covered with a light crust. Fry the meat for several minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and let beef cook for a few more minutes. Don't forget to stir it from time to time.
Make a hole in the center of the chopped vegetables and place the fried meat there. Cover it with a sauce made from tomato sauce, tomato paste and heavy cream.
Place the pot in a previously preheated oven (temperature - 180 degrees). Cook for 1 hour. Then reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and simmer for at least 3 hours.
Remove the pot of cabbage from the oven and gently stir the contents.
This casserole of cabbage and meat can be served immediately or, if you need to wait for guests, put it in the switched off oven and cover with a lid - the dish will retain its warmth for several hours.
Serve the stew mixed with cabbage, add a salad of new tomatoes and toasted bread croutons.
And remember, you don’t need to add a drop of additional water. In the process, the vegetables themselves will release it in excess and feed the meat. Stew cabbage in its own juice, it will be much tastier. Follow the recipe strictly and you can easily stew cabbage with meat in the oven.

Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan, first fry the meat briefly, then add chopped vegetables to it and simmer over low heat.
