We offer you a recipe for beautiful crispy brushwood, which is very easy to prepare. Naturally, if you are watching your figure, it’s not worth frying firewood once a day, but once, so to speak, a month, it’s completely possible to amuse yourself and your friends.

Ingredients

  • 3 testicles
  • 75 g sugar
  • 75 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons high quality vodka
  • 500 grams of premium wheat flour
  • Refined vegetable oil for frying
  • Sweet powder for sprinkling.

How to prepare “Brushwood with vodka”

Break the freshest eggs into a deep bowl and beat with sugar.

Add vodka and water, stir.

Sift the flour twice.

Knead a thick dough, put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a narrow layer.

Cut with a knife into strips about 2 cm wide.

Divide the long thin strips into pieces about 8 cm long. Cut any individual rectangle of dough in the middle, not reaching the end.

Pass the upper part of the brushwood blank through the slot and unscrew it. You will get real figured brushwood.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan with a thick bottom. There is no need to feel sorry for it; the oil should cover the brushwood by half. Lay out the brushwood and fry over a fire a little less than average, first on one side, later on the other. The brushwood should float freely in the oil, do not apply too much.

Remove the browned brushwood with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels. So that they absorb excess oil. Transfer the brushwood to the dish in which you will serve it to the table. Sift the sweet powder and sprinkle the brushwood. Serve either warm or cool. When the brushwood is warm, it is crispy on the outside and pleasantly soft on the inside.

Products
Flour – 250 g
Testicle – 2 pcs.

Salt – 1 pinch
Vodka (or cognac) – 2 tbsp. l.
Sweet powder – 2 tbsp. l.
Unscented oil – 100 ml

How to cook brushwood with vodka:

Mix the dough. Mix eggs, vodka, sugar, salt.

Add flour. Knead the homogeneous dough on the table for 5 minutes. Transfer the dough into a bag and leave for 20 minutes.

We take out the dough and divide it into several parts.

Roll out each part to a thickness of 1 mm.

Cut the dough into arbitrary strips. We make a cut in the middle of each strip and turn out one or two ends. In this way we form all the brushwood.

Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan or frying pan and lay out the dough.

Fry the brushwood on both sides until golden brown.

Place the brushwood on napkins to remove excess fat.

Sprinkle the brushwood with sweet powder and serve.

Ingredients

Testicles 2 pcs.
Vodka 2 tbsp. l.
Milk 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Salt 1/4 tsp.
Soda 1/4 tsp.
Vegetable oil 215-365 ml
Flour 300-350 g

How to choose the right ingredients

  • Do not take the cheapest vodka and especially moonshine - this will affect the taste of the cookies.
  • The freshest eggs are needed, but their size or color does not matter.
  • Flour must be of the highest quality: snow-white, without debris and aroma. Sift before using.

Manufacturing process

  1. Break two eggs into a bowl and scramble them.
  2. Add two tablespoons of sugar, a quarter spoon of salt and soda to the eggs and mix well.
  3. Pour in 2 tablespoons of milk and vodka and one tablespoon of vegetable oil (15 ml). Mix.
  4. Add 300-350 g of flour evenly and knead the dough. When it becomes awkward and difficult to stir, place it on a hot table and knead it with your hands. You should get a thick, soft dough. Leave to rest for half an hour, wrapped in film.
  5. Then roll out the dough thinner and cut into oblong small pieces, making a cut in the center in any one.
  6. Thread the ends of the pieces through the slit in the center to form twigs.
  7. Pour 200-350 ml of oil into a saucepan or bowl and heat. When the oil boils, dip part of the brushwood into it so that it floats quietly, and fry for a minute and a half until golden brown.
