Step by step recipe

  1. We cut fish fillets or just fish into portions. A good option is cod, but you can give preference to any other white cod to taste. Sprinkle the purchased pieces with lemon juice and salt.
  2. Wash, dry and finely chop the greens. We put it in a container and add mayonnaise there.
  3. Wash, dry and cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Remove the husks from the garlic, wash and chop using a convenient method. Place all ingredients in a container with mayonnaise.
  4. We grate half of the indicated amount of cheese on a medium or small grater and add it to the remaining components of the future dressing.
  5. Mix the mixture well until it becomes homogeneous.
  6. Place the fish pieces in a baking dish. If desired, it can be lubricated with vegetable oil in advance. Place a portion of dressing on top.
  7. Grate the remaining cheese on a small grater and place it on top of the fish pieces, so that after baking you get an appetizing crust.

  2. Sprinkle with lemon, season with spices: I usually have different types of pepper, I don’t add the rest so as not to overwhelm the taste of the fish itself. Leave to stand for 10 minutes and then fry a little.
  3. Set aside and work on the vegetable pad.
  4. Chop the tomatoes, garlic (it’s better to squeeze it in a garlic press) and herbs, grate the cheese. Chop the onion and fry it slightly. Stir everything (put only half of the cheese, the rest will go on top), add sour cream.
  5. Divide the vegetable pad into two parts. Place one on a baking sheet, then place the fillet and place the second part of the vegetables on top.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs for a delicious crust and place in the oven for 25 minutes.

Cooking vegetables in marinade

  1. Cut the onion into thin half rings. We grate the carrots using a Korean carrot grater, just not coarsely. Why I don’t recommend grating carrots on an ordinary grater.   • Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip the fish pieces in flour and fry over high heat until golden brown. We just need to fry it, we don’t need to bring it to readiness. When ready, place the fish on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • In the meantime, prepare a form where we will place the fish and marinade. A frying pan with high sides or a cauldron will do.
  • Spread half of the marinade on the bottom. We lay out the fish in a second layer and cover it with marinade. If the shape is small, then the layers can be repeated. But the bottom and top layers should be marinade.
