- Choose a large package of puff pastry, containing at least 500 grams.
- 1 chicken egg.
- 2 bars of chocolate, choose any - milk, black or snow-white.
- A tablespoon of margarine.
- Sweet sand - a tablespoon.
Let's start making a chocolate croissant
Just 20-30 minutes of cooking and delicious croissants made from puff pastry with chocolate will be on your table. The scheme of actions is ordinary:
- Take a deep cup and break your chocolate bars into it.
- Take the finished puff pastry out of the package, sprinkle a little flour on the table and lay out a layer of dough. Using a rolling pin, roll everything out well. Take a sharp knife and cut the plate into careful triangles.
- Place a few pieces of chocolate on the wide edge of the dough triangle and begin to roll the dough into a beautiful tube.
- Take a baking sheet and prepared margarine. Rub margarine over the entire surface and place all the croissants.
- Take a small bowl, break an egg into it and pour in the sweet sand, beat well. You need the resulting “slurry” to cover the baked goods. The frosted chocolate croissants will take on a gorgeous golden hue at the end of baking.

Croissants with chocolate insides "Zebra"
This croissant recipe is designed for cooks who have a lot of free time and love to tinker with dough. Preparing such chocolate croissants is naturally more difficult and takes longer to cook, but it’s worth it. First, let's go through the list of suitable ingredients for production:
- Full-fat butter - 300 gr.
- Half a kilogram of flour, choose the highest grade.
- 1 tsp sweet sand.
- One chicken egg.
- A pinch of salt.
- 60 gr. warm filtered water.
- 2.5 glasses of milk.
- 30 gr. {live} yeast.
- 1 bar of dark and 1 bar of snow-white chocolate.
- Vegetable oil - by eye.
The process of preparing Zebra croissants
Making this recipe will be the most labor-intensive, because you will have to knead the dough yourself. Don't worry about anything, at the moment detailed {instructions} of actions will be given for you. We act step by step:
- Pour warm water into a bowl and crumble the yeast into it, leave it alone for 7 minutes.
- Pour sweet sand and 250 grams of heated milk into the yeast “slurry”. Mix everything well and put it in a warm place so that this “liquid” comes up.
- Pour flour, salt and all the butter into a deep bowl, grind all these ingredients into crumbs. We make a depression in the center of the crumbs and pour out the “slurry” of yeast. We start kneading the dough when your test lump is not too sticky, put it on a table sprinkled with flour in advance and knead well for about 5 minutes. The kneaded mass should not stick to you.
- We take a clean bowl and treat it with a small amount of vegetable oil, put a dough ball there, lightly pour the dough ball over it with vegetable oil. Wrap the bowl tightly with cling film. We send the “bun” to a warm space for an hour and a half.
- Time has passed, knead the dough again, put it in the bowl and let it rise for an hour, wrapping the bowl with cling film again.
- An hour has passed, knead the dough and roll it into a rectangle, cover this rectangle with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- 30 minutes have passed, roll out our rectangle as thinly as possible and coat it with the remaining butter on 2/3 of the entire area. We begin to fold the dough so that you have a layered mass. You need to create at least 4 folds. We pack the finished “dough book” in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Roll out the frozen dough into a rectangle measuring 35 by 53 cm. And using a knife, carefully cut similar triangles; you can regulate the number yourself.
- Now the chocolate inside for croissants is your two chocolate bars, snow-white and dark. Break them into small pieces into a bowl. Let's leave it alone.
- Break the egg into another bowl and pour all the sugar into it; you will coat your baked goods with this “substance” to obtain a golden crust.
- We fill the dough triangles with pieces of chocolate and roll them into beautiful crescents.
- We treat the baking sheet with oil, lay out our pastries, coat any crescent with an egg-sugar mixture. Place in the oven to bake for 25 minutes at a temperature of 100 eighty degrees.

Divide the dough into three parts and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that it freezes and hardens. From each part of the dough we make circles, which we will cut into triangles. Then add the paste and give it a suitable shape. Place on a baking sheet, brush with the remaining yolk and put in the oven for half an hour. Bake at 200 degrees.
Chocolate bagels
For this recipe we will need the following:
- Ingredients for the dough:
- 200 g butter;
- 100 g sour cream;
- 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- 1 testicle;
- 2 tbsp. flour;
- 1.5 tsp. baking powder or slaked soda;
- salt.
- Ingredients for the inside:
- 2 yolks;
- 50 g sugar;
- 60 g chocolate;
- 20 g butter.
Description of manufacture
First you need to thoroughly grind the butter and sugar, then add all the other ingredients. We grind all this and make a dough. It must be of medium coolness.
To make the inside, you need to grind the yolks with sugar. To thicken the mixture, place it in a water bath. Melt the chocolate and pour into this mixture. Now remove from heat and add oil.
We cut the dough as if for a cake. Place a teaspoon of entrails in the middle and roll it up.
Bake for 15 minutes or a little less (until the dough turns brown) at a temperature of 180 degrees. We take out the finished croissants and sprinkle them with sweet powder on top.
Croissants with chocolate cream
For this recipe we will need:
- 0.5 kg flour;
- 50 g butter;
- 1 packet of dry yeast;
- 150 g warm milk;
- 100 g sugar;
- 4 testicles.
Add Nutella (you can replace it with melted chocolate) to taste.
- First you need to dissolve the yeast in the milk. Then mix butter, flour and sugar. The butter should melt a little beforehand. Add two eggs one at a time, stirring well.
- The milk and yeast mixture must be added slowly until the dough sticks to your hands. Later we set the dough aside to let it rise. This requires 30 minutes or even an hour.
- After this, cut the dough into triangles. On the side that is wider, place 1 teaspoon of the inside. Wrap it in a crescent shape.
- Grease a baking tray and place the croissants on it. They should stand here for about 20 minutes.
- Beat the remaining two eggs with milk (4 tbsp) for lubrication. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the croissants in it for 15 minutes.
Croissants with condensed milk from yeast-free dough
- 0.5 kg puff pastry;
- 0.3 kg condensed milk;
- 1 testicle;
- 20 g sugar.
Roll out the dough thin (up to 2 mm) and cut it into triangles. Place condensed milk on the wide side and wrap it up. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with sweet powder. Then put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Now take it out and sprinkle powder on top.

- Take the dough out of the refrigerator and let it melt at room temperature. Dust the table with a small amount of flour. Roll out the thawed layer to a thickness of about 2 mm. To preserve its layered structure, you need to roll it out with movements only in one direction, for example, only lengthwise.
- Let's first cut the layer into squares with a side of 10 cm, and then any square - diagonally, into triangles. It is convenient to use a knife to cut pizza.
- Place half a teaspoon of Nutella or any other chocolate spread on the narrow side of each triangle. You can use pieces of chocolate bars instead of pasta.
- Let's roll up the rolls, bend them slightly, giving them the appropriate shape.
