Marble cake in a slow cooker
Marble cake in a slow cooker
I have already written for you that a new assistant has appeared in my kitchen - a multicooker, which is replacing the one that had already broken down. So, as a gift for this cartoon, there was a small book of recipes. Now I decided to make a marble cake from the book given to us - the result amazed me.
Indeed, I was in a pleasant shock - finally, the multicooker in my kitchen can bake not only a luxurious sponge cake, but also a cupcake (which I hesitated about when I put in the ingredients and made the dough). I hasten to share some good news and a brand new recipe with you.
To make a marble cake in a slow cooker you need the following products:
Add a spoonful of vanilla and a teaspoon of baking powder at the tip.
Mix the dough and pour half of it into the multicooker bowl.
Add cocoa powder to the remaining half of the dough and mix the chocolate mass well.
Pour the chocolate dough into the multicooker bowl.
Using a spatula, make several radial and spiral movements to cut the dough.
This is how we make a marble pattern. We don’t mix the dough completely and don’t get too carried away. A few precise movements of the spatula are completely enough. Place the bowl of dough into the multicooker.
Turn on the “Baking” program for 1 hour. After the beep, carefully remove the cake onto a plate and cool. The finished cake can be coated with glaze by boiling 2 tbsp for 1-2 minutes. cocoa powder, 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. sour cream. Personally, I have enough chocolate and sweetness in this cupcake. Serve with tea, coffee or cocoa. Mixes well with juices and cool milk.

I hasten to share with you a recipe for making a very tender and delicious marble cake in a slow cooker. This ordinary cupcake will decorate the tea party table for the whole family.
Let's prepare the necessary products. Melt the butter in advance and cool until warm.
Pour sugar and vanilla sugar into the container with the eggs. Beat with a mixer until fluffy.
Add sour cream and mix with a mixer.
Add the butter that has cooled to a warm state and mix again with a mixer.
Add baking powder and flour (in parts). The dough comes out quite thick.
Divide the dough into 2 parts of equal weight. Add 2 tbsp to one part. sifted cocoa powder, second - 2 tbsp. sifted flour so that the dough mixture is similar in the containers. Stir the contents until smooth.
Grease the multicooker bowl (Redmond – 250, bowl – 4 liters) with butter or margarine. Cover the bottom with baking paper. Place 1 tablespoon of light and black dough alternately until both types of dough are complete. Install the “Baking” program and set the time to 1 hour 10 minutes. After 50-60 minutes, check the cake for doneness using a skewer. If the skewer comes out dry, turn off the multicooker; if not, then continue baking. My cake took 70 minutes to bake.
After turning off the multicooker, we don’t immediately take out the cake, let it cool for 30-40 minutes. Then, using a steaming bowl, take out the cake. Let it cool completely.
The most delicate marble cake, baked in a slow cooker, is ready to serve. Before serving, sprinkle the cake with sweet powder.
Marble cake in a slow cooker
Decorated and unique - this is how you can characterize the marble cupcake, the recipe for which is offered in this article.
It is delicious, has an unusual appearance and cooks quickly. Naturally, in this case we are not talking about an oven, but about a multicooker, which will prepare a delicious dessert in almost an hour without a single burnt spot. You can cook in any type of appliance, the main thing is that it has a function that allows you to bake the dough.
If you like to amaze and imagine, you can create a marble cupcake in a slow cooker in other colors, for example, by adding natural dyes (dark currant, raspberry, cranberry, orange, pumpkin) or food dyes. In this case, admiration and praise are guaranteed for you.
Ingredients:
- 4 testicles;
- 100 grams of chocolate;
- 100 g butter;
- 200 grams of flour (less may be useful);
- 200 g of cottage cheese;
- 100 grams of sugar.
Making marble cake in a slow cooker
Beat the eggs until foamy with a pinch of salt (take only 2 eggs), add sugar and continue the process until the crystals dissolve.
Sift the flour, add it little by little to the dough, bringing it to a suitable mixture (do not add all the flour at once, it is better to add a tablespoon at a time).
Heat the butter and chocolate broken into pieces in a water bath (you can use a microwave oven for this, but at low power). Pour the not hot mixture into the dough and knead well.
In a separate bowl, combine the remaining 2 eggs and cottage cheese, add sugar. If desired, you can add candied fruits, orange zest, raisins or other dried fruits to the cottage cheese.
Before starting cooking, grease the multicooker bowl with butter so that the cake does not stick, sprinkle flour on the bottom and sides of the bowl. We spread 2-3 spoons of chocolate dough, put the same number of spoons of curd dough inside, then chocolate again, then curd dough. And so on until the dough is finished.
We move a skewer on top of the future cupcake to create unique ornaments, then close the lid of the device and turn on the “baking” program. The duration of cooking a marble cake in a multicooker is from 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the fat content of the cottage cheese and the amount of dough.
After the signal, let the cake cool and only then take it out. Slice and serve, optionally with condensed milk or jam.

Marble cake with kefir in a slow cooker
There was already a recipe for a marble cake on the website, this one is slightly different, I once read it in some magazine, it was called the British marble cake, I baked it in the oven for many years, and for the last 3 years I’ve been cooking it in a slow cooker, and I got it in it I like it even more. The recipe is quick, simple, and not labor-intensive, I hope you will appreciate it. The cupcake comes out very beautiful, fragrant, delicious. Pour yourself a cup of aromatic tea, add a circle of golden lemon, and treat yourself to a piece of the most delicious marble cake.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 100 g margarine or butter
- 2 testicles
- 100 g kefir (you can use bifidok)
- 0.5 tsp. soda (or 1 tsp baking powder, mix with flour)
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1-2 tbsp. l. cocoa powder
- vanillin (optional)
Marble cake with kefir in a slow cooker:
Put soda into the drink, stir and leave for a couple of minutes, during this period of time the drink will increase in volume. Meanwhile, melt the margarine and beat the eggs and sugar until foamy. Add melted margarine, drink, flour to the beaten eggs, mix. I mix everything with a mixer.
Divide the dough into two parts, add 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 2-3 tablespoons of kefir to one part, so that the mixture of light and dark dough is uniform.
Grease the multicooker bowl with oil, spoon out light and black dough alternately.
Cook the marble cake in a multicooker in the “baking” mode for 60 minutes.
After the signal, immediately remove the cake using a steamer basket.
Before guests arrive, I bake a cake like this in one and a half sizes, in other words, 3 eggs, 150 ml of kefir, etc. This cake takes 65 minutes to bake.
The finished marble cake can be poured with chocolate glaze, sprinkled with nuts, sesame seeds, sweet powder, or you can sprinkle nothing on it, it will turn out very beautiful anyway!
If you don’t have time to fuss, or don’t like cocoa, you can bake without it, simply adding 2 tablespoons of raisins and nuts to the dough. It will also be very tasty! You can also use this dough to bake cupcakes in the oven in small tins.
We thank Oksana Baibakova for the multicooker recipe!
