Step-by-step recipe with photos and videos
Surely, almost all housewives prepare liver cake, because it is a very tasty dish. But you don’t always have the time and desire to bake liver pancakes; for this option, I would like to share with you a simple and delicious recipe for making a liver cake in the oven (from chicken liver).
By the way, this cake comes out very juicy and tender, I assure you of this. The only thing I regretted was that I didn’t prepare enough vegetable frying - it’s very necessary there, so feel free to make more, you literally won’t regret it.
For this recipe, I always buy chicken liver, it seems to me more tender and juicier, but if you don’t like chicken or don’t eat it for some reason, buy beef or pork.
So, prepare all the necessary products for making a liver cake in the oven.
First, wash the liver and place it in a blender bowl.
Add flour, salt, pepper and grind into a homogeneous mass.
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, add chopped onion.
Then grate the carrots and fry until soft, stirring constantly, over medium heat.
Add mayonnaise or sour cream to the vegetable frying, add salt, pepper and stir.
Line a baking dish with baking paper and grease with butter.
Divide the liver mass into 3 equal parts, pour the first part into the mold.
Divide the roasted vegetables into 2 parts, place one part on top of the liver mass, and do the same with all layers.
Place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 35-40 minutes, check for doneness with a skewer.
Remove the finished liver cake from the mold, brush with mayonnaise or sour cream, and decorate with herbs to your liking.
A delicious, fragrant liver cake is ready in the oven, served both hot and cool.
