This dish is one of my favorites. Meatloaf with eggs is perfect for both a formal table and a Sunday feast with the family. The addition of certain ingredients gives the chicken roll its special taste; and which ones you will learn from this recipe.
It’s absolutely not necessary to cook something extraordinary to feed your guests a tasty and satisfying meal on New Year’s holidays. There are a lot of ordinary and delicious snack options that require the most common and affordable products. For example, minced chicken roll with vegetables and cheese is just one of them.
Liver with prunes in the insides makes chicken rolls especially tasty. With this dish you can amuse your loved ones and pleasantly surprise your guests.
There are a huge number of sausage recipes. I offer you my own version of a delicious homemade minced meat sausage with mushroom innards. This type of sausage is always the first to disappear from the festive table!

Minced chicken roll in the oven: composition, ingredients, step-by-step recipe with photos, aspects and manufacturing secrets
You can prepare minced chicken roll for any event, be it just a dinner or a celebration. The insides for a dish can be completely different: vegetable, cheese, mixed, and even meat! Now we will share recipes with photos of rolls in which minced chicken acts as a base. Despite the apparent complexity, any roll is very simple to prepare.
Egg roll
This is probably the most common option for making a minced chicken roll in the oven. Despite the simplicity of the ingredients and preparation, the dish deserves a place on the festive table. You can serve this roll either hot or cool as a snack.
Ingredients you will need:
- 0.7 kg chicken fillet;
- two pieces of snow-white bread;
- 7 chicken eggs;
- a large bunch of green onions, a little dill and basil;
- garlic clove;
- onion;
- 50 g butter;
- salt and pepper.
Making an Egg Innards Roll
- First, let’s prepare the chicken “dough” for our roll. If there is skin and fat, then all this should be removed; we will not need these components in the roll!
- Peel the onion and garlic. Grind chicken fillet, onion and garlic through a meat grinder. If the mesh is installed large, you will have to turn the minced meat again.
- Add one egg, salt and dark ground pepper to the minced meat. Stir well and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Boil the eggs and place under cool water to cool.
- chop the greens. Melt butter in a frying pan and add herbs. Fry over low heat, lightly, until the greens settle.
- Chop the eggs or grate them on a large grater. Mix with herbs, salt and add a little pepper.
- Place cling film on the table and place a plate of water nearby to wet your hands. Place the minced chicken in an even layer on the film.
- Place the filling on top of the minced meat, but so that there is a distance of 2 centimeters from all edges. If you don’t leave it, the inside will come out when folded.
- Roll the roll, carefully lifting the film from the table. Peel the minced meat from the film by wetting your hands.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the roll on it.

- a glass of walnuts;
- salt and pepper.
Manufacturing does not require huge costs of either time or money! The dish can be placed on the table for a celebration in the form of a cool appetizer or a hot dish!
Making “Tender” roll
A minced chicken roll baked in the oven has a unique taste, and all thanks to the sauce included in the inside! Try this dish, you will definitely like it!
- Make mince from chicken meat with the addition of one onion. Scroll the meat without skin!
- The carrots must be grated on a small grater, and the cheese on a large grater.
- Beat two eggs into the minced meat, add bread soaked in milk or water, add salt and pepper. Stir, put in the refrigerator to rest.
- Cut the second onion into half rings, combine with carrots, and fry in sunflower oil. A minute before turning off the heat, add crushed garlic. Add some salt.
- Place cling film on the table and place a plate of water next to it so you don’t have to run to the sink to wet your hands.
- Place the minced meat on the film, grated cheese on it, and fried vegetables on top. Fold the filling, retreating two centimeters from the edges of the base.
- And now the sauce: walnuts must be fried and chopped, mixed with mustard and sour cream. Pour this sauce over the filling.
- Roll the minced chicken with entrails as described in the previous recipe.
- Grease a baking sheet or cover it with paper and place the roll.
For greater baking convenience, you can place the prepared roll in foil. The only disadvantage of making it this way is that you can get burned while taking the roll out of the foil. To prevent the hot steam from burning you, you will need to wait until the dish has cooled slightly.
Bake for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
“Juicy” roll
We prepared the “Tender” roll, now we offer you to bake it super juicy! This is an indescribably delicious dish that simply disappears from the table before it even appears! Anyone who loves tomatoes will like this roll, but it’s very difficult to find non-lovers! Like all previous rolls, feel free to prepare this one for a celebration - either hot or cold.
You need to prepare the following ingredients:
- 0.7 kg chicken meat;
- onion;
- 2 tomatoes;
- two slices of white bread;
- bell pepper;
- carrots + another onion;
- two tablespoons of tomato paste;
- spoon of mayonnaise - optional;
- 300 grams of hard cheese;
- salt and seasonings.
How to prepare a “Juicy” roll?
It’s very easy to prepare a minced chicken roll in the oven; you just need to learn the dexterity to roll this dish without breaking it! But all these abilities come with experience. so don’t put off preparing the roll, start learning now!
- Twist the chicken with the onion, add the soaked bread, salt and pepper. Knead and put in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
- Grate the carrots, peel the onion and pepper and cut into strips.
- Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. fry onions, carrots and peppers on it, adding salt and seasonings. Add tomato paste and mayonnaise, fry for another two minutes.
- Spread cling film on the table or work surface, and don’t forget about a plate of water. Place the minced meat in an even layer on the film.
- Cut the tomatoes into slices and place on the minced meat in one layer.
- On top of the tomatoes you need to lay out the fried vegetables and tomato.
- On top of the frying is grated cheese.
- Roll up the roll and place on a greased or paper-lined baking sheet. The roll can be wrapped in foil, so it literally remains intact until the end of baking.
Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for about 40 minutes.
Roll with potatoes, mushrooms and sausage
Not a single person will refuse such a treat, naturally, if he does not refuse to eat meat! We suggest preparing a very tasty and satisfying dinner - a roll with minced chicken. There is a photo of the dish in the article, and you can appreciate how appetizing it looks!
Ingredients for making:
- 700 grams of chicken meat;
- half a kilo of potatoes;
- 200 g of all mushrooms;
- 400 grams of salami, ham or cervelat;
- 200 grams of hard cheese;
- two cloves of garlic;

Making a roll with potatoes, mushrooms and sausage
- Prepare the minced meat: mince chicken meat without skin and fat with an onion, add an egg, soaked bread, salt and a little pepper.

- Fry the mushrooms in butter with chopped garlic. Mix with potatoes, salt and pepper.
- Place the minced meat on cling film, on top of the mushroom puree, then a layer of thin pieces of sausage, and grated cheese on top.
- Roll it up, wrap it in foil, if it’s more convenient to bake, and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake, as in previous versions, is necessary at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.

Minced chicken roll with cheese and vegetables
The meatloaf recipe is easy to make, but requires some preparation time. The dish is prepared from both chopped pieces of meat and minced meat. Pork, beef, turkey and chicken are excellent. The inside can be chicken eggs, boiled or fried vegetables, cheese, mushrooms, dried fruits, cereals, pasta with the addition of fresh herbs and fragrant spices.
A tender and juicy roll of minced chicken with hard cheese, roasted carrots, tomatoes and onions in the oven. For flavor, we supplement the meat mixture with hop-suneli, seasoning for minced meat, and for spiciness with hot ground pepper.
Step-by-step recipe for chicken roll with cheese
Ingredients for 4-5 servings:
- Chicken breast (fillet) – 250 g;
- Chicken legs (fillet) – 250 g;
- Chicken egg (small) – 1 pc.;
- Onions (medium) – 2 pcs.;
- Tomato – 1 pc.;
- Carrots (small) – 1 pc.;
- Hard cheese – 50 g;
- Snow-white bread – 1 slice;
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp. l.;
- Parsley - 3 sprigs;
- Seasoning for minced meat – 1 tsp;
- Khmeli-suneli – 1 tsp;
- Hot reddish pepper – 3 pinches;
- Ground pepper;
- Salt.
Roll making time is 90 minutes.
How to cook minced chicken roll with cheese and vegetables in the oven
1. Coarsely chop the breast fillet, thighs and onion (1 piece) and pass through a meat grinder.
2. Mix the prepared minced meat in a bowl.
3. Break an egg into a bowl, add hot pepper, seasoning, salt (2 pinches), suneli hops.
4. Cut off the crusts from a slice of snow-white bread and soak for 1 minute in water or milk. Finely chop the parsley leaves. We put everything in a bowl. The bread can be slightly squeezed.
5. Mix the roll preparation well, beating it slightly, then take it in your palm and hit it hard 2-3 times on the bottom of the bowl. If the mixture comes out watery, then add breadcrumbs (1-2 tbsp.). Place in the refrigerator while you prepare the vegetables.
6. Peel the vegetables, not counting the tomato. Cut the onion (1 piece) into feathers, the tomato into small cubes, grate the carrot coarsely.
7. Place the onion feathers with chopped carrots in the oil, pour in water (4-5 tbsp) and cover. First, simmer at medium temperature, then open and fry until the mass reduces and the liquid evaporates. It takes no more than 10 minutes.
8. Add cooked tomato cubes to the fried vegetables and fry, stirring, at medium temperature for 2-3 minutes. Place on a plate and cool.
9. Add salt, ground pepper, coarsely grated cheese to the cooled vegetable mixture and mix. The meatloaf interior is ready. Set the oven to 180 degrees.
10. Place the meat mixture on baking paper (grease it in advance) or cling film and spread it not very thinly.
11. Add a mixture of vegetables and cheese on top. Distribute it moderately, moving away from the edges.
12. Using paper, carefully roll the minced meat with vegetables into a roll, fasten the edges, transfer to a sheet of foil and form sides from it.
13. Transfer to a baking sheet, pour in water (6-7 tbsp) next to the roll and cover with another piece of foil. Place in the oven for 50 minutes.
14. After 50 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes. The roll in the oven should be covered with a golden brown crust.
15. Take out the most delicious minced meatloaf, let it stand for 5 minutes, cut into portions and serve immediately with your favorite side dish and the freshest vegetables. If the roll is cut cool, then the cut shows the exact boundaries between the entrails and the minced meat. We serve the dish as a main course or prepare fragrant sandwiches or sandwiches with sauces and vegetables.

– for vegetable oil – melted butter, for bread crumbs – semolina or wheat flour, and for pickled sweet pepper – fresh;
– why pour water into the mold or onto the baking sheet before baking the roll?
So that during long-term heat treatment the meat product does not burn to the bottom of the hot pot? the inside is not important; from time to time, instead of pepper and cheese, they use hard-boiled eggs, fried vegetables until half cooked, various pickles, marinades and even cottage cheese seasoned with the freshest herbs;
– some housewives do not add breadcrumbs to the ground meat, they simply sprinkle them on greased foil, but in this case the finished rule is quite difficult to remove from the aluminum, and it is better to unwrap it without cooling, in other words, while it is hot.
