My mother liked the recipe for this roll in some culinary magazine a long time ago. We’ve been preparing it for many years – it always turns out delicious.

Ingredients for Banana Roll:

  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs
  • Condensed milk - 0.5 ban.
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 1 cup.
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp.

  • Banana – 2 pcs.

Syrup

  • Water - 1 glass.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp. l.

Banana roll recipe:

Let's start with making the dough: beat the eggs with a mixer until fluffy foam, add condensed milk, mix thoroughly by hand, add the flour sifted with soda in several steps.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, grease with oil and spread the dough.
It is necessary to use a large baking tray (small pans are not suitable) so that the layer of dough is extremely narrow; during baking the crust will rise perfectly. In a small form, the cake will be very tall and it will not be possible to wrap the roll. I use a baking tray from the oven, size 43*37.5 cm. Bake in preheated to 180 degrees. oven until golden brown. My crust takes about 10 minutes to bake.

Place the finished cake on a clean kitchen towel, remove the parchment and roll it up together with the towel, leaving it in this state until it cools completely.

While the cake is cooling, prepare the syrup and cream.
For the syrup: bring water and sugar to a boil, cook for a few minutes, remove from heat and cool.
The butter for the cream must be at room temperature (take it out of the refrigerator in advance).
Beat the soft butter with a mixer until white, add condensed milk in 2-3 additions, continue to beat until a gentle and airy mixture is obtained.
Thinly slice the bananas into slices.

Carefully remove the cooled cake from the towel, soak it in syrup, grease it with cream, lay bananas on top and roll it into a roll. Cover with film and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. The finished roll can be decorated as desired.

Previously, when I didn’t know about the method of rolling a roll with a towel, I prepared it in a different sequence.
At first I boiled the syrup and made the cream, then baked the shortbread. While the biscuit was preparing, I cut up the bananas. I rolled the roll immediately after taking it out of the oven. You need to create everything very, very quickly, otherwise the biscuit will burst when folded: remove the paper, soak it in syrup, grease it with cream, lay out the bananas and wrap it. With this sequence, the taste comes out a little different, with some kind of stewed milky smell)) and the cut is different - a narrow layer of cream and bananas - the hot shortcake absorbs almost all the cream.
With this method, the roll does not always come out completely rolled, so I do it more often with a towel.

First of all, separate the yolks from the whites of the eggs.

In a bowl, beat the whites until thick, snow-white foam. It is convenient to use a mixer for this.

In a separate bowl, beat the yolks with sugar. The mass should be homogeneous, without any noticeable sweet grains.

Pour flour into the sugar-yolk mixture. Mix thoroughly. There shouldn't be any lumps.

Slowly approach the resulting mass.

Sour cream 42% - 4 tablespoons

Lemon zest – 1 piece

Curry powder – 1 teaspoon

Turkey escalope – 800 g

Natural yogurt – 150 g

Separate the yolks from the whites and lightly beat the yolks. Add sugar.

And beat until the mass becomes light.

Sift the flour and mix with cocoa and baking powder. Add yellow to the whipped mixture.

Frisky sponge roll with boiled condensed milk and bananas

Wheat flour – 5 tablespoons

Then I cover the baking sheet with parchment and pour the dough onto it. Use a spatula to moderately distribute into an even layer.

I heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake it for 15 minutes. The finished biscuit will be a beautiful golden color. After that, I take it out of the oven and transfer it to wood boards.

Without immediately removing the parchment, I roll it up and leave it to cool completely.

And at this time I prepare the impregnation. Pour water into a small saucepan, add sugar and liqueur. Stir and put on fire until the sugar dissolves. I took the fragrant strawberry liqueur that I made myself.

Add sweet powder to thick sour cream and mix. The cream is ready.

All that remains is to peel the bananas and everything that is needed to create a roll with a banana inside is prepared.

Now I carefully remove the parchment and slowly unroll the biscuit so that it does not crack. Then I soak it well.
