Naturally, most of these vegetables contain vitamins (vitamins are a group of organic substances combined by chemical nature, united on the basis of their absolute necessity for a heterotrophic organism in as a component of food) C.

In addition, there is a very useful substance called lycopene. It is a powerful antioxidant that can prevent diseases (disturbances in normal functioning, performance) of the stomach, including cancer. It also contains serotonin. It is a delightful remedy for foul moods. This is probably why the inhabitants of the Mediterranean are less sad and live up to 90-100 years.

For those who are on a diet and counting every calorie eaten, it will be important to know. Cherry tomatoes (per 100 grams) contain only 15 kilocalories. Proteins – 0.8 g, fats – 0.1 g, carbohydrates – 2.8 g.

By the way, the cherry variety was bred in Israel in 1973. The main goal is to reduce the rate of ripening in hot climates. As a result, small fruits were obtained that ripened more slowly. Now we will tell you how to properly prepare salads with cherry tomatoes.

Salad with Fetax cheese

Ingredients needed to make fetax salad:

  • Cherry tomatoes – 12 pcs.
  • greenish pitted olives – 40 g
  • fresh blue basil – 20 g
  • fresh parsley – 20 g
  • orange – 1 pc.
  • olive oil – 60 g
  • Fetax cheese – 200 g
  • dark pitted olives – 50 g
  • fresh mint leaves – 30 g
  • lemon – 1 pc.
  • blue onion – 1 pc.
  • dark ground pepper - a pinch

Cherry tomatoes must first be washed and cut in half. Cut Fetax cheese into medium-sized cubes. Strain the olives and cut into strips. Peel the onion and chop into small cubes. Wash parsley, basil and mint, dry and cut into strips.

Peel the lemon and orange and cut into pieces. Mix all the prepared ingredients in a bowl, sprinkle with pepper, pour in olive oil and mix thoroughly.

Unique salad with cherry tomatoes

Ingredients needed to make this unique salad:

  • arugula – 1 bunch
  • Cherry tomatoes – 12 pcs.
  • fresh champignon mushrooms – 300 g
  • Parmesan cheese – 150 g
  • sweet pepper – 1 pc.
  • olive oil – 150 g
  • lemon juice – 150 g
  • wasabi – 1 tsp.
  • salt, ground dark pepper - a pinch

The mushrooms must be peeled, cut into slices and placed in a frying pan with heated olive oil. They should be fried until golden brown. Cherry tomatoes need to be washed and cut in half.

Rinse the arugula, dry it and chop it a little, although you can throw it in its whole form. Wash the sweet pepper, peel it, remove the seeds and cut the pepper into half rings. Parmesan must be cut into slices. Mix all the prepared salad ingredients in one bowl, pour in olive oil, sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. You can put wasabi sauce near the salad.

Mediterranean salad with oranges

Ingredients needed to make a Mediterranean salad:

  • cherry tomatoes – 350 g
  • orange – 0.5 pcs.
  • radishes – 5 pcs.
  • green lettuce leaves – 150 g
  • lemongrass – 0.5 stems
  • rice vinegar – 20 g
  • olive oil – 20 g
  • soy sauce – 30 g
  • sesame oil – 15 g
  • maple syrup – 10 g
  • sesame seeds - a pinch
  • fish sauce – 0.5 tsp.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into four pieces. Wash the radishes and cut them into thin circles. Peel the lemongrass and chop finely. Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them and finely chop them or tear them into small pieces with your hands. Peel the orange (you can use pomelo) and cut into pieces.

To dress this salad, mix olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup and fish sauce. Add all the ingredients to the sauce, mix and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Salad with shrimp

Ingredients needed to make shrimp salad:

  • shrimp – 400 g
  • green lettuce leaves – 200 g
  • Cherry tomatoes – 5 pcs.
  • olive oil – 50 g
  • salt - a pinch
  • hot chili pepper – 1 pc.
  • garlic – 2 cloves
  • lemon juice – 2 tsp.
  • honey – 1 tsp.

The shrimp must be thawed, cleaned and dried thoroughly. Cut the chili pepper into rings and place in a frying pan with hot olive oil. Also add garlic crushed through a press to the pan. Fry for two minutes, and then put it on a plate. And put shrimp in a frying pan and fry them.

While the shrimp are frying, cut the lettuce leaves into strips, although you can tear them into small pieces with your hands. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut each one into four parts.

To prepare the dressing, you need to mix honey, lemon juice, salt and oil from the frying pan in a bowl, just let it cool slightly.

Mix all the salad ingredients in a bowl, pour over the prepared dressing and mix again.

Canned tuna salad

Ingredients needed to make the salad:

  • canned tuna – 300 g
  • arugula – 80 g
  • cherry tomatoes – 300 g
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • boiled chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
  • olive oil – 60 g
  • soy sauce – 80 g

The eggs must first be hard-boiled, peeled and cut into circles. Wash the arugula, dry it and tear it into small pieces with your hands. Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry them and cut them in half. Open the can of tuna, place the fish on a plate and mash with a fork. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, add olive oil and soy sauce. Mix the prepared salad. You can also mix all the ingredients, not counting the eggs, and place the eggs on top of the salad.

Salad with garlic and beans

Ingredients needed to make the salad:

  • beans – 350 g
  • cherry tomatoes – 350 g
  • young zucchini – 1 pc.
  • garlic – 10 cloves
  • basil – 1 bunch
  • balsamic vinegar – 20 g
  • olive oil – 50 g
  • apple cider vinegar – 30 g
  • snow-white and dark ground pepper - a pinch
  • sea ​​salt – 1 tsp.

The beans need to be prepared in advance; they need to be soaked overnight (that is, in the dark) . In the morning, drain the water and add fresh water, add salt and cook. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet, pepper them, add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic and bake for about fifteen minutes.

Wash the zucchini, dry it and cut into strips. Place them in a frying pan with heated olive oil and fry on both sides.

When the beans are ready, you need to add olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and pepper.

Wash the basil, dry it and chop it into small pieces. Place zucchini, beans and tomatoes on serving plates. Later, pour everything with the juice from the tomatoes that remained after baking.

Manufacturing:

  1. Prepare the sauce. In a deep bowl, mix mayonnaise, tomato paste, brandy, sherry and Worcestershire sauce. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into it. Stir.
  2. Pour the cream into the same bowl, stir and put in the refrigerator, covering with a lid or film.
  3. Boil the eggs until the yolk is firm, peel and cut into slices. Anything should turn out to be just 8.
  4. Divide the cherry tomatoes into four slices.
  5. Chop the lettuce leaves into strips or tear them into small pieces with your hands.
  6. Boil the shrimp for 3-5 minutes in boiling water, depending on the size of the shrimp.

  • a few slices of white bread;
  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • salt - to taste;
  • ground black pepper - to taste;
  • 6 slices of bacon;
  • 250 g small tomatoes;
  • a few green onions.

Manufacturing

Grind the spinach in a blender. Add lemon juice and mayonnaise and stir until smooth. Place the dressing in the refrigerator.

Heat half the oil in a frying pan, cut the bread into large pieces and fry until golden brown, turning occasionally.

10. Spicy salad with tomatoes, arugula, peach and tofu

Ingredients

  • 2 green chilies;
  • 120 ml water;
  • 120 ml rice vinegar;
  • 1 teaspoon sugar;
  • salt - to taste;
  • 120 ml + 3 tablespoons olive oil;
  • 170 g tofu;
  • 2 large tomatoes;
  • 2 peaches;
  • 1 bunch of arugula;
  • ½ bunch of basil;
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce;
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice;
  • 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger;
  • 1 teaspoon mustard.

Manufacturing

Cut the chili into thin slices and place in a heatproof bowl. Pour water and vinegar into another container, add sugar and ½ teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Pour the hot mixture over the chili and let sit for 15 minutes until the chili has cooled to room temperature.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Cut the tofu into cubes and fry over moderate heat, turning occasionally, about 5 minutes. The tofu should be browned on all sides. Season it with salt.

Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and the peaches into small slices. Place them on a serving plate, add the cooled tofu and chili, arugula and basil leaves.

Mix soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, mustard and remaining oil and pour the resulting dressing over the salad.

Salad with cherry tomatoes
