Recipe: Sweet pizza with ricotta, pear and mozzarella – Sweet pizza with ricotta, mozzarella and pear
Have a nice day everyone!
I can’t help it, well, I love Italian cuisine and constantly try to cook something from the cuisine given to us. The other day I bought ricotta cheese and immediately had a desire to bake sweet pizza with ricotta, mozzarella, pear, etc.
So, let's prepare sweet pizza dough, it is prepared literally the same as regular dough, only sweet sand is added.
Well, let's start:
you will need 3/4 cup of water, approximately 150 grams.
One third of a teaspoon of salt
two tablespoons of sweet sand
small piece of yeast
dissolve it all in water
add a tablespoon of olive oil
Add 7 heaped tablespoons of flour (my scales were faulty, I couldn’t take a photo), so I do it “approximately.” Knead the soft dough and let it rise perfectly. I prepared it the night before and put it in the refrigerator under film.
The dough came up perfectly in the morning.
Place the dough on a table dusted with flour.
Roll out into a circle or oval (optional)
I take little honey, I have lime honey, it’s already candied, but I warmed it up in warm water
applied honey to the pizza base
cut the mozzarella into thin pieces; it has a neutral taste and is “friendly” with both regular and sweet pizza
place pieces of mozzarella on honey
Place ricotta or other cream cheese on top
One pear (I use the “conference” variety), cut into thin slices
Place pear slices on top of the cheese
I couldn’t resist and sprinkled some more grated Parmesan. Pear and cardamom are made for each other, so I also sprinkle cardamom on top
season with a little olive oil
Send to bake at a temperature of 180-200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
The pizza turned out to be very tasty, just very tasty!
The delicate taste of cheese combined with pear is simply unrealistic.

Recipe for making a dish at home
To make these extraordinary baked goods, we use mozzarella. If you don’t have such cheese, you can use Roquefort or Gorgonzola.
- Mix half a glass of warm water with a pinch of salt and sweet sand. After that, add fresh yeast and olive oil to the mixture.
- Pour seven heaped tablespoons of flour into the resulting mass.
- Knead the ingredients into a soft dough and leave it aside for some time so that it fits perfectly.
- Sprinkle the table with flour and lay out the yeast dough.
- Roll out the dough into an oval or circle, the thickness of which does not have to be very large. Place in a greased form.
- We grease the base for our future pizza with watery honey. If the product is candied, it can be heated briefly over low heat.
- Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and place on top of the honey.
- Spread creamy ricotta cheese on top.
- Remove the core and seeds from the pear and cut into small pieces.
- Season with olive oil and sprinkle with grated cardamom.
- Place in the oven to bake for 25 minutes.

Step-by-step recipe with photos
Pizza with ricotta on puff pastry is an excellent pastry that can be served for breakfast or taken to work or on a picnic as a snack. Unlike other pizzas, this dish comes out crispy and actually not juicy, because ricotta cheese has a dry taste. It can be prepared in almost 15 minutes if you have defrosted dough and ingredients for the inside. If desired, after baking the dish can be sprinkled with grated hard cheese on top, resulting in a viscous top layer. Don't forget about olives or pitted olives, basil or thyme.
I always have frozen puff pastry in the freezer, divided into parts, so making pizza at any time is not a problem for me, the main thing is to let the dough defrost for about 20 minutes at room temperature. Be sure to coat the pizza base with sauce so that the ricotta does not fall off - remember that the cheese tastes dry!
So, prepare the necessary ingredients and let's start cooking!
Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangular or square layer. Combine ketchup and mayonnaise of any fat content, grease the base with the purchased sauce. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Crumble the ricotta into a salad bowl or bowl and place in an even layer over the sauce.
Wash the tomatoes in water, cut out the greenish core and cut into slices. Place tenderloin over cheese. Add salt and pepper. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes, depending on the readiness of the dough.
Remove the pizza from the oven and turn off the appliances.
Cut the pitted olives in half and decorate the dish with them. Don't forget the basil leaves. Serve pizza with ricotta either warm or cool – it’s equally delicious!
