This is a quick-to-make chocolate cake with sour cream, the shortcakes for which are baked in a frying pan. For this, it is best to use a frying pan with a thick bottom. Olga took a frying pan with a bottom diameter of 21 cm and she came out with 5 cakes.

For sour cream, it is better to take sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%, normally rustic sour cream, so that the spoon will stand up.

Chocolate cake with raspberries in a frying pan

To make a cake for 6-8 servings you need:

  • 250 premium flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 15 g cocoa powder
  • 160 g sugar
  • 15 g vanilla sugar
  • 2 testicles
  • 130 ml milk
  • 50 g vegetable oil
  • 0.5 tsp. baking soda
  • 150 g water (boiling water)
  • berries or fruit for serving
  • 500 g sour cream
  • 150 g small sugar
  1. To make the dough, sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, stir.
  2. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk and vegetable oil with a fork until smooth. Pour out the baking soda and pour boiling water over it, stir everything quickly. The dough should be runny.
  3. Bake the shortbreads in a heated frying pan like pancakes. Pour the dough into a ladle and, tilting the pan, distribute it over the entire surface of the bottom. Bake over medium heat, covered, for 4 minutes. from each side. If necessary, before baking any cake, grease the pan with vegetable oil.
  4. Once the cake has been baked for the indicated time, turn it over and bake – without the lid – for another 30-60 seconds.
  5. Place the baked shortcakes on a table covered with a towel or baking paper. Cover them with a towel to prevent them from drying out. The shortbreads should cool one hundred percent. Cut them with a pastry ring 18 cm in diameter. The ring should be a couple of cm smaller in diameter than the frying pan.
  6. For the cream, beat the sour cream and sugar first at low speed, then at high speed until fluffy and fluffy, 7-10 minutes. The sugar should dissolve.
  7. The cake can be assembled either with or without a pastry ring. Coat any cake with cream, leaving a little cream for the final decoration of the cake. The top layer is cream. Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to soak.
  8. Grind the cake scraps in a blender. Take out the cake and coat the sides with the remaining cream, sprinkle with prepared crumbs and decorate with berries or fruit.

Oatmeal muffins with blackcurrants in the microwave

These are chocolate cupcakes made with quick-made oatmeal. You can replace currants with other berries, but you don’t need to completely give up on them. Berries are indispensable in recipes - they add “juiciness” to the muffins.

If you use clay molds, grease them with butter. And if they are glass, you don’t need to lubricate the molds with anything.

Bake any cake in the microwave oven separately, in other words, there should be only one mold in the microwave oven! This way the cupcakes are baked most sparingly.

Oatmeal muffins with blackcurrants in the microwave

To make 8 cupcakes you need:

  • 160 g oat flakes
  • 80 g butter plus for ramekins
  • 60-80 g sugar
  • 20 g vanilla sugar
  • a little more than 0.5 tsp. baking powder
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 3 large testicles
  • 180-200 ml milk
  • 150-200 g black currants
  • salt
  1. Grind the oatmeal. Choose the grind from smallest to medium – don’t necessarily grind it into flour, there may be small pieces of oatmeal left behind. Melt the butter, but do not boil!
  2. Mix the prepared cereal with sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk and melted butter to the dry consistency, whisking with a fork until smooth. Stir. The dough mixture should resemble pancake dough, only a little more liquid.
  4. Add berries and stir gently.
  5. Place the dough into microwave-safe molds. Fill them to approximately ¾ of the way up.
  6. Bake at 850 W, 90 sec. The baking time will depend on the power of the microwave and the volume of dough in the pan, so check the readiness of the cake and, if necessary, bake it again at the same power. Cool the cupcakes and serve, decorated with berries, cream or jam.

Cake in a frying pan

Cakes that can be prepared without baking are liked by almost all cooks, so they are quite popular. Their main highlight is the small amount of time that needs to be spent on production. After all, cake layers do not necessarily need to be baked in the oven; they can be easily prepared in a frying pan. This option will be a real salvation for those housewives who, for one reason or another, do not have an oven, and the desire to amuse guests and family with a festive cake is very great.

  5. Roll out the dough thinly with a rolling pin.
  6. Fry any shortbread for 1 minute on each side. Then we place a round dish on it and trim off the excess with a knife.
  7. After that, let's make the cream. In a deep container, beat the eggs.
  8. Without ceasing to beat, add sugar in parts in several approaches.
  9. Then add flour and vanilla, continue beating until smooth.
  10. Add milk and mix everything well again.
  11. Place the container on the stove and stir constantly, bringing the cream to a boil.
  12. After this, let the cream cool slightly, add butter and beat for 1-2 minutes.
  13. Spread the cooled shortcakes with the prepared cream.
  14. Sprinkle the top of the cake with crushed scraps and nuts, then leave it to soak for several hours.

Napoleon cake in a frying pan in 30 minutes

  • 200 g homemade cottage cheese
  • 1 cup of sugar

  6. For the cream, beat eggs with sugar.
  7. Add milk, vanillin and flour to them. Place on fire and bring to a boil.
  8. Beat the sugar and cream separately until the mixture thickens.
  9. Combine both masses and mix them until completely homogeneous.
  10. We coat the cakes with the resulting cream and leave the cake to soak overnight (that is, in the dark) .

Honey cake “Minute” in a frying pan

If you do not have the ability to cook cakes in the oven, then a good option would be to cook them in a frying pan. The honey cake recipe is just one of these, it is not only simple, but also affordable.

Ingredients:

For the cakes:

  • 2 tbsp. spoons of honey
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 testicles
  • 2 cups of flour

For cream:

  • 800 ml. sour cream
  • 1 cup of sugar

Manufacturing method:

  1. Mix honey, oil and soda in one container.
  2. Beat eggs with sugar.
  3. Add the egg mass to the main ingredients and mix thoroughly.

  5. Add flour and continue stirring for another 5 minutes.

  8. By mixing the sugar with sour cream with a mixer, we get a cream, which you just need to coat the shortcakes with.

Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough balls into layers. Fry the layers in a frying pan for one minute on one side and the other side of the layer.   1. In a bowl, combine 300 g of sour cream and 300 g of sugar and mix well with a spoon.
  2. We divide the resulting mass into 2 parts, because the cake will be two-color. Sift 1 tablespoon of cocoa into one of the parts and mix well.
  3. In 550 grams of flour, add one and a half teaspoons of baking powder, mix well and add a little to each part of the dough and knead a soft, elastic dough. This is how it comes out in finished form.
  4. Sprinkle the board lightly with flour and lay out one part of the dough, make a sausage out of it and divide it into 6 equal pieces, literally we do the same with the 2nd part of the dough. And we roll any piece into a ball and it comes out to 12 equal parts.
