- Thaw the strawberries and mix them with sugar, leave aside for half an hour. Then drain the resulting juice, squeeze the berries a little, now they are ready to use.
- Prepare the dough: heat the whey in a saucepan and pour into a deep bowl. Add salt, sugar and soda. Stir, add eggs, beat with a fork until the mixture is homogeneous and add flour evenly.
- Knead the soft dough, divide into three parts and roll each one no thicker than a couple of mm. Dip a glass in flour, cut out circles from the dough. Place the filling in the middle of each circle and make dumplings.
- Pour water into the pan (fill half the pan), put it on the fire and boil. Throw dumplings into boiling water (for example, throw 10-12 pieces into a 2-liter pan). Cook until done: after boiling, cook the fatties for another 3 minutes.
- Afterwards, remove the prepared dumplings into a bowl with a slotted spoon and brush with butter or olive oil. Prepare other dumplings as well and place in a bowl.

- If you are using frozen strawberries for the insides, allow them to thaw before making them and, after placing them in a sieve, allow the excess liquid to drain. Keep in mind that frozen berries are more sour than fresh ones, so you will have to add more sugar to the filling.
- To prevent the dough from getting soggy under the influence of strawberry juice, it can be thickened with starch. To do this, place the berry on a piece of dough, sprinkle it with a small amount of starch, and only then wrap it. You don’t need a lot of starch, just lightly dust the berries.
- If the manufacturing technology is violated, the dumplings stick together and get an unaesthetic appearance. To prevent this from happening, you must use a wide pan for cooking that can hold a sufficient amount of water. Dip dumplings into already boiling water, not all at once, but one at a time. Compound:
- flour – 0.35 kg;
- chicken egg – 1 pc.;
- milk – 100 ml;
- vegetable oil – 20 ml;
- water – 50 ml;
- strawberries – 0.5-0.7 kg;
- starch – 20 g;
- salt - a pinch;
- butter – 50 g;
- sweet powder - to taste;
- mint (optional) - how much will be needed;
- sugar - to taste.
- Sift the flour. Pour approximately 2/3 of the flour into a bowl, stirring with salt.
- Make a well in the flour, break an egg into it, pour in milk and water. Stir with a spoon.
- Add oil, stir again. Add flour in small portions and knead the dough.
- When the dough finishes sticking to your hands, cover it with cling film and set aside.
- Immerse the strawberries in cold water for a short time, then wash each berry. Remove the leaves immediately. Then let the berries dry by spreading them on a cardboard towel. Cut large berries in half or even into 4 parts.
- Roll out the dough into a layer about 2-2.5 mm wide. Using a cup, cut the dough into circles 6-7 cm in diameter.
- Place a berry or a piece of it on any circle if you get a large berry. Sprinkle with starch and sugar.
- Connect and seal the edges tightly.
- Boil the dumplings in boiling water.
- Place on a plate, brush with butter, sprinkle with sweet powder, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
The dish looks fresh and tempting. The taste will not disappoint you either.
Dumplings with frozen strawberries in a slow cooker (steamed)
Compound:
- flour – 0.5 kg;
- chicken egg – 1 pc.;
- drink – 0.3 l;
- dry yeast – 5 g;
- salt - a pinch;
- sugar - to taste;
- starch – 20 g;
- frozen strawberries – 0.5 kg.
- Defrost the berries and let the water drain. Using a sharp knife, cut the berries into large pieces.
- Warm the drink to room temperature or a little higher. Break an egg into it and beat with a blender.
- Add two tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt to the drink and stir.
- Sift the flour and mix with dry yeast.
- Combine the flour with the kefir-egg mixture and knead the dough. Place it in a warm space for an hour or an hour and a half until it suits.
- Roll out the dough and cut out circles into cups.
- Place a teaspoon of strawberries on each circle, sprinkle with starch and sugar.
- Form the dumplings and place them on the multicooker grid, having previously greased it with vegetable oil.
- Pour a glass of water into the multicooker bowl. Run the device for 10 minutes, setting the steam cooking mode.
- Boil other products in the same way.
- Add sugar and a little water to the strawberry juice that has drained from the frozen berries, and cook the syrup.
- Drizzle the syrup over the dumplings before serving.
Additionally, the dish can be decorated with whipped cream. Dumplings with strawberries will be even tastier with them.
Dumplings with strawberries and cottage cheese
Compound:
- cottage cheese – 0.5 kg;
- fresh strawberries – 0.4 kg;
- chicken egg – 2 pcs.;
- sugar – 150 g;
- flour – 0.4 kg;
- butter – 40 g;
- cookies (“For tea” or similar) – 150 g;
- vanilla sugar – 15 g.
- Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve.
- Grind the cookies using a blender or coffee grinder.
- Break the eggs into a bowl, beat them with a whisk, adding vanilla and regular sugar.
- Place cottage cheese and softened butter in a bowl with eggs, stir thoroughly.
- After adding flour, knead the curd dough.
- Wash and dry the strawberries. Medium-sized berries of approximately the same size are ideal for this dish.
- Roll the dough into a sausage, cut off a piece and form into a fairly thick (about 5 mm) flat cake.
- Place strawberries in the center of the cake, seal the edges and roll the dumpling into a ball. Make the rest of the strawberry dumplings in the same way.
- Boil the dumplings for 5 minutes in boiling water, remove with a slotted spoon and roll in cookie crumbs. You need to roll the dumplings in the crumbs one at a time, making sure that the crumbs cover them on all sides.
- Place the dumplings in the refrigerator so that the crumbs do not fall off. Do not rush to take them out of the refrigerator: they must cool down completely.
These dumplings are best served cool as a dessert. Children will especially like it because the outside resembles vanilla ice cream. The taste of the dish is unique. Recipe for making a dish at home
- Pour the flour into a large bowl, create a hole in the center and drive the raw egg into it. Pour the milk and water mixture on top (into the well) and mix thoroughly.
- Knead the elastic dough with your hands, pour in vegetable oil towards the end. Stir in a little more flour as needed.
- Cover the prepared dumpling dough with a light kitchen towel and leave it for half an hour at room temperature.
- Place the frozen strawberries in a sieve and leave them to defrost completely. Cut the berries into halves or quarters and mix with starch in a bowl.
- Knead the finished dough, roll it into a sausage and cut it into small pieces 1-1.5 cm wide. Crush any piece and roll it into a round cake.
- Place a little strawberry inside on one half of the round cake. Cover it with the second edge of the dough and pinch the edges of the dumpling tightly. If desired, the edges can be pressed down with a fork.
- After this, you can put the dumplings in the freezer to freeze, or cook them until tender in bubbling salted water (5 minutes after boiling at a low boil).
- Place the finished dumplings with strawberries in a colander and let them drain. Serve strawberry dumplings hot, with yogurt, sour cream, butter and/or sprinkled with sugar. Bon appetit!
