Oatmeal casserole
Porridge casserole is a go-to dish if you have porridge left over from breakfast. Then you can make a magical casserole from the porridge given to us. It can also be prepared in this case if your child does not eat regular milk porridge. What to create? Attract him with delicious casseroles.
In this recipe for porridge casserole, I used ready-made viscous oatmeal; I usually cook it half and half with milk and water. On the “I Love to Cook” website, under the “Porridge in a Multicooker” section, there are a huge number of recipes for milk porridges, including a recipe for “Oatmeal Porridge for a Multicooker,” which shows the proportions for oatmeal with milk. If you want viscous oatmeal, then the proportions are as follows: 1 part oatmeal, 2 parts water, 1 part milk.
Porridge casserole can be prepared both in a slow cooker and in the oven.
What you need for oatmeal casserole:
200 g ready-made viscous porridge
Tablespoon raisins (20 g)
2 tablespoons/l flour (20 g)
1 teaspoon sugar
How to cook porridge casserole in the oven
From the number of ingredients indicated in the list, a small amount of casserole comes out. And that’s why a shallow baking dish is useful.
First, soak the raisins in hot water for a few minutes.
Next, you need to mix all the ingredients for the casserole in a deep container.
Measure out 200 g of finished porridge, add a chicken egg, then sugar, pour in milk, then add flour.
By this time, the raisins have already swollen from the hot water, and therefore they need to be squeezed out of the water and dried on a towel to remove excess water and add to the casserole.
Mix everything and place in a silicone mold.
Place it in the oven and cook the casserole for 30 minutes at approximately 200 degrees. The finished porridge casserole will have a golden brown crust on top.
Then remove the casserole from the pan onto a plate. When serving, you can use jam or preserves, or you can also use yogurt.
If you want to bake porridge casserole in a slow cooker , then focus on the size of the bowl. If it is 5 liters, then the amount of ingredients must be doubled. Baking time will be 30 minutes. If your multicooker has 3 liters, then you don’t have to add more ingredients, but the cooking time will also be 30 minutes.

Oatmeal casserole with apples is a delicious and unique dessert for homemade tea. The special beauty of this casserole for us is that it is very simple to prepare from the most ordinary goods.
The casserole is prepared using caramelized oatmeal, which gives the dish a special taste and color.
Selecting apples for casserole
Apples must certainly be of the sour variety.
“Antonovka ordinary” is especially good. If you haven’t found Antonovka, then you can use any other sour apples.
The baking time is given arbitrarily and depends on the capabilities of your oven. The casserole should be perfectly browned.
This casserole is served both hot and cold.
Ingredients
- Oat flakes – 2 tbsp.
- Apples – 5 pcs.
- Granulated sugar – 1 tbsp.
- Milk – 1 tbsp.
- Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 100 g
- Vanillin – 1 pinch
- Breadcrumbs – 1 tbsp. l.
- Refined sunflower oil – 1 tsp.
How to make oatmeal casserole with apples
In a frying pan, mix the butter with a small amount of sunflower oil, heat it well and put the cereal and sugar in it.
With constant stirring, fry the mixture for 3 minutes until crumbly and lightly browned due to partial caramelization of the sugar.
Grease a baking dish generously with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Spread the sugar-oat mixture in an even layer.
Wash the apples, dry them, remove the skin and seeds and grate them on a large grater.
Spread the apples sparingly over the oat mixture.
Add eggs and vanillin to the milk.
Lightly beat the mixture with a whisk.
Pour the milk-egg mixture over the apples.
Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 200°C, and bake the casserole until golden brown, this will take about 30 minutes.
Oatmeal casserole with apples is ready, serve with milk or jam.

You won't even need salt! You can take much less sugar, and if you wish, completely replace it with honey; it is also possible to add vanillin or ground cinnamon, which add an extraordinary zest to apple dishes!
Making “Simples”
As for the name, you will understand it as soon as you prepare a casserole of oatmeal and apples. The pastry looks very ordinary, even a little unsightly, but it tastes amazing!
Preparing the casserole is also simple:
- Mix oatmeal and sugar, rub them with butter.
- Place the cereal with butter and sugar in an enamel bowl over low heat. Stir continuously, otherwise the sugar will burn. Once the sand has melted one hundred percent and the flakes are saturated with oil, remove the dishes from the heat and place the contents on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Peel the apples, remove the cores, and grate them on a small grater. Spread this mixture on top of the cereal.
- Dissolve the powdered milk in a glass of water, add cinnamon or vanillin, if using, pour everything on top of the future casserole.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, bake the oatmeal casserole for 30 minutes.
You can serve the baked goods plain, or you can also serve them with jam, honey, condensed milk, melted chocolate, and so on.
Recipe for cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal
Neither a child nor an adult will refuse cottage cheese casserole! Not only does it not harm the figure, but it is also good for health, especially during a diet (Diet is a set of rules for human consumption of food) , when the body lacks microelements. Cottage cheese, oatmeal and peaches (we will also use them) contain many essential substances that are simply needed to maintain overall health. - 600 grams of low-fat cottage cheese;
- 1254 grams (approximately a package) of curd mass or curd cheese with peach flavor;
- 5 eggs;
- a glass of milk;
- a can of canned peaches or 6 new ones;
- a handful of raisins - optional;
- half a glass of sugar;
- 5 heaped tablespoons of quick-made oatmeal;
- a tablespoon of lemon juice;
- two tablespoons of starch;
- few breadcrumbs;
- a little sour cream to lubricate the top layer of the casserole.
Despite the huge number of ingredients, preparing such a tasty casserole is quite simple.
Making cottage cheese casserole with cereal
The following actions are needed:
- Raisins must be soaked in warm water to swell.
- Remove the cottage cheese from the refrigerator a couple of hours before cooking.
- Separate the whites from the yolks and place in a separate bowl in the refrigerator.
- The curd mass or cheese must be kneaded with oatmeal and left for 30-40 minutes to soak.
- Next you need to mix the milk with cottage cheese, starch, sugar, and yolks. Mix well using a mixer or blender.
- Next, mix the resulting mass with the flakes.
- Peel the peaches and cut into cubes. Mix with base, add raisins.
- Cover a baking sheet with paper or grease with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, place the curd mass in it for baking.
- Pour citric acid into the whites, beat, adding sweet powder, until you get a good protein cream. Place this cream on the future casserole.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the baking sheet in it for 40 minutes. Then brush the top of the casserole with sour cream and bake it for another 20 minutes.
Serve cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal for tea in its original form. You can optionally add jam, condensed milk, jam to it.
Casserole “Oatmeal with banana”
And yet there is nothing more delicious than a warm casserole of oatmeal and ripe banana! This is a very exciting dish that both you and your kids will love! You will need all the most ordinary ingredients, it will take no more than an hour to prepare, but for tea you will have the most delicious low-calorie pastries.

Making a casserole
