  • Potatoes (medium) – 800 g
  • Sunflower oil – 4 tbsp. spoons
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Dark ground pepper – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Egg – 1 pc.

Method for making potatoes baked with cheese in the oven :

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Grate hard cheese onto a coarse grater.

Wash the potatoes, peel the skins, cut into slices. Place the chopped potatoes in a medium saucepan or bowl, add salt and pepper, add half the cheese and mix everything well.

Combine the milk with the egg and beat lightly with a whisk or fork until smooth.

Peel the garlic, cut lengthwise into two halves. Rub the baking dish with garlic and coat well with oil. Place the potatoes in a baking dish and pour in the mixture of eggs and milk.

Place the pan in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. When the potatoes become soft, they are ready. To prevent the potatoes from burning on top, you can cover the pan with foil.

Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle the potatoes with the second half of the cheese and return to the oven.

Rinse the potatoes well, do not peel the skins. Boil the young potatoes for half an hour in salted boiling water. Drain the broth and let the potatoes cool slightly.
