Do you want to amuse your family with a tasty, but at the same time ordinary and unpretentious dish? Then this recipe is for you.

Oyster mushrooms are one of my favorite mushrooms. I cook them quite often, and they even taste somewhat like meat, but the cost is even cheaper, which is a huge plus for the home budget. The combination of mushrooms, onions and sour cream is a classic that makes no sense to describe it. In a word – delicious. Which sour cream to choose is up to you, the main thing is that it is fresh, without pronounced bitterness and acidity. Also use herbs and spices, focusing on your taste preferences.

Prepare the ingredients for making oyster mushrooms with sour cream in a frying pan according to the list of ingredients for the recipe.

Peel a large onion (or a couple of small ones) and cut into half rings. Place in a frying pan heated with vegetable oil.

Fry the onion over medium heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally so as not to burn.

Meanwhile, thoroughly wash the mushrooms and cut into medium slices. You shouldn’t chop the tenderloin too much, taking into account that during frying the size of the pieces will decrease significantly. Add the oyster mushrooms to the pan with the onions and stir.

As the mushrooms release their juice, add salt and ground black pepper. Over low heat, evaporate excess water. This will take about 10-15 minutes. But if after time the mushrooms remain very dense, you will have to add a little more (50-100 ml) filtered water and repeat the evaporation function again.

Then add sour cream. Stir and simmer oyster mushrooms with sour cream in a frying pan for 3-4 minutes.

At the very end of cooking, add chopped parsley to the mushrooms, stir and remove the pan from the heat.

That's all, the most delicious oyster mushrooms with sour cream are ready.

Despite its apparent simplicity, the dish turns out excellent, I highly recommend it. Bon appetit!

Cut the oyster mushrooms into strips or pieces. Do not chop the mushrooms into thin slices or cubes, because when frying they will greatly decrease in size. The dish will turn out tastier if you can prick a piece of fragrant mushroom with a fork.

If you cut the mushrooms into strips, then chop a huge onion into strips as well. If you choose a different form of tenderloin, then chop the onion in the same way.

First fry the onion in vegetable oil. It needs to be golden. If you fry the mushrooms first, and then the onions, the vegetable will not be able to fry due to the huge amount of water from the mushrooms.

When the onions in the pan are clearly golden, add all the chopped mushrooms. It will seem that there are a lot of them, but during frying the oyster mushrooms will significantly decrease in size.

After about 10-15 minutes, the liquid from the mushrooms will begin to evaporate and you can add salt and pepper to the oyster mushrooms and onions. Cook them over low heat, covering with a lid, for another 15 minutes. In total, it will take 30-40 minutes to make oyster mushrooms. If the liquid quickly evaporates, and the mushrooms do not have time to cook, then add a little (50 ml) boiled hot water.

Add sour cream, stir oyster mushrooms. Try for salt and spiciness, because sour cream softens the taste of the dish. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes, let the dish boil.

The dish is ready, but it will be more flavorful if you add the freshest chopped herbs to it. I chose a mixture of fresh dill and parsley.

Fried oyster mushrooms in sour cream can be served with any side dish, and when cool they are an excellent substitute for an appetizer.
