How to cook:

Pour 2.5 liters of water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.

Pour the soaked pearl barley into the boiling liquid and cook it for 40-45 minutes, skimming off any foam that has formed.

Boil fresh mushrooms in lightly salted water for 15 minutes, drain the liquid and cut them into slices.

Fry the carrots and onions in oil for a couple of minutes, then add white mushrooms and tomato paste to taste.
