Ingredients

Manufacturing process

Cut the chicken fillet into pieces.

Sprinkle chicken meat with Teriyaki sauce or soy sauce, salt and pepper.

Let the chicken fillet soak for 15-20 minutes.

At this time, cut the pieces of bread or baguette into cubes and dry them in a dry frying pan over medium heat until golden brown and leave to cool.

Fry the chicken pieces in a dry non-stick frying pan without oil until golden brown on all sides. The heat during frying should be moderate.

You need to fry the fillet for approximately 8-10 minutes, turning the pieces of meat from time to time. The fillet prepared in this way comes out very juicy on the inside, golden brown on the outside, tastes like meat roasted on coals, smells very tasty and gives the salad a restaurant chic feel.

While the croutons and meat are cooling, prepare the sauce for the Caesar salad. To do this, grate the cheese on a small grater.

Place mayonnaise in a bowl with the cheese and squeeze the juice of half a lemon into it.

Mix all sauce ingredients. Add garlic, passed through a garlic press, vegetable oil and herbes de Provence. Add water to the sauce. Salt and pepper to taste, mix. Our Caesar salad dressing is ready.

Rinse the lettuce leaves under cool water and dry. In a serving plate, place the first layer of lettuce leaves, torn by hand into medium pieces.

Place the tomatoes cut into slices on the lettuce leaves.

Pour half of the prepared sauce over the tomatoes.

Next we add warm chicken fillet.

Place crackers on top.

Pour the remaining dressing over the Caesar salad.

Sprinkle the top of the salad with grated cheese. Our Caesar salad with chicken and tomatoes is ready, serve it to the table and mix the layers while eating. Almost everyone will like this tasty, juicy and satisfying salad, tested!

To make it cheaper, I took regular chicken eggs and cut them into quarters, and instead of cherry tomatoes I bought regular ones and cut them into thin half-slices. Krutonov dried half a loaf. They go very well with this salad. The result was impressive. Tasty just like in a restaurant. Even better! At the same time, I personally ate the vegetarian version without meat. The taste is amazing! The guests were served a separate bowl of chicken, where they added pieces of fillet to taste. Everyone liked it. Now I will only cook according to this recipe. And for the holidays!

Add chicken and tomatoes, croutons and... to the Caesar salad.

A festive table, and is there life on it without mayonnaise? Naturally! How a vegetable salad can be nutritious and how a meat salad can be healthy - this is exactly the story of everyone’s favorite Caesar appetizer. A colorful, festive, appetizing dish can be prepared even during the season, even for the Christmas table - the necessary products are sold in the store every year. We look at three options on the Caesar theme with chicken, tomatoes and croutons - with photos and step by step. The recipes are easy and irresistible in a homemade book.

  • chicken fillet – 150 g;
  • vegetable oil – 4 tbsp. l.;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • mustard – ½ tsp;
  • salt – 3 pinches;
  • lemon juice – 1 tsp;
  • wheat baguette – 2-3 slices;

Number of servings – 2.

How to cook Caesar this way

  1. Hard-boil quail eggs, peel and cut into halves. Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry them, cut into quarters.
  2. Wash the lettuce leaves and dry them with napkins. Tear the greens with your hands and place in a salad bowl. Place quarters of cherry tomatoes there.

  4. Place the quail egg halves and chopped chicken into the salad bowl.

Caesar with chicken, Chinese cabbage and tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • Chinese cabbage – 2-3 leaves;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • mustard – 1/3 tsp;
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp. l.;

  • wheat bread - 1-2 slices.

How to create a salad with Chinese cabbage

  1. Wash the leaves of Chinese cabbage under running water and dry. The central hard part must be cut out, and the greenish soft part must be cut into thin strips.
  2. Grate the hard cheese on a small grater.
  3. Make a dressing for the appetizer - put mustard in a bowl, pour in a couple of tablespoons of neutral-smelling vegetable oil, add a crushed clove of garlic, a pinch of salt and a couple of generous pinches of grated cheese. Stir everything.
  4. Place chopped Chinese cabbage in a dish, pour sauce over it, using only half for now.
  5. Chop the chicken (boiled or baked fillet) into small pieces and arrange sparingly over the cabbage.
  6. Wash the tomatoes, cut into small pieces of random shape. Place on a platter.
  7. Fry the wheat bread on both sides until golden brown. Then break the crouton into small croutons and add to the rest of the ingredients.
  8. Before serving, pour the second half of the sauce over the Caesar and sprinkle with the remaining hard cheese.

Serve the salad immediately after dressing, because the croutons can quickly soften.

To make the salad taste better

To make crackers, they usually use any kind of snow-white bread. The only caveat is that stale crackers or store-bought crackers are not suitable - they will not give a joyful crunch (except perhaps hardness), but they can damage the whole harmony of freshness. It is convenient to prepare croutons using 2 methods:

  • bake in the oven so that while the crackers are covered with a golden crust on top, they remain tender on the inside;
  • fry in oil (preferably olive) in a frying pan, then place on a paper towel to remove excess fat.

Cheese. For a traditional Caesar, you need Parmesan, but we advise you to safely use any other varieties, as long as they are tough.

If you don't have smoked chicken fillet, bring your own creativity to the production. Change the composition to the applicable flavor combinations, the main aspect should only be “like/dislike”. And therefore, chicken is simply replaced, for example, with bacon, turkey, ham. For lovers of fish salads - tuna, shrimp, crab meat. Why not? After all, in one of the recipes we changed the usual leaf lettuce to Chinese cabbage.

The main thing is to keep in mind the main composition, and improvisation is only an indicator of professionalism. And in this sense, “Caesar” is typical culinary jazz, the best platform for imagination. Crispy snacks for you and bon appetit!
