Pozharsky cutlets are a famous recipe. According to one version, these remarkable cutlets are connected with the name of Prince Pozharsky. According to another, more authentic version, Pozharsky cutlets are a recipe that first appeared in the 19th century in a tavern in the town of Torzhok, between St. Petersburg and Moscow. This dish was invented by the owners of the inn (more precisely, as they say, the innkeeper’s wife), who bore the surname Pozharsky.

And then the day came when I was tired of ordinary cutlets and fried chicken also did not arouse interest. There was only chicken breast available. Therefore, at first an excellent thought appeared, and after it a question: how to cook chopped chicken breast cutlets in the oven? It turned out that everything is very simple and it turns out great. Without hesitation, I added the recipe to my culinary repertoire. Naturally, not many people like to spend a lot of time creating minced meat. But if you have a very sharp knife, the process will go much faster.

Prepare all the ingredients to make the most delicious chopped chicken cutlets in the oven. From time to time, mayonnaise can be used to make such minced meat. But I'm not a big fan of baking it. That's why I replaced it with sour cream. Although it might be tastier with mayonnaise. You can take a whole breast, but I like to buy it already cut into “fillets”.

I repeat, but in order not to spoil your mood when cutting meat, take a sharp knife. If there is no such thing in the house, then at this particular moment there is a reason to sharpen it. Trim the tendons, excess fat and cut the breast into small pieces.

Beat a chicken egg into a bowl and add semolina.

The onion must be peeled and finely chopped, and placed in a bowl. Also add sour cream of any fat content.

Salt and add spices. I like to use a mixture of utskho-suneli and dry adjika - this tandem is perfect for meat, fish, side dishes, and salads.

Stir all the ingredients in a bowl and let the minced meat stand for 20 minutes so that the semolina swells.

The baking sheet must be covered with foil or a silicone mat must be placed. Grease the foil with oil and spoon out small portions of chopped minced meat.

Bake chopped chicken cutlets in the oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Be careful that the cutlets do not dry out in the oven. Otherwise you will end up with meat crackers. Although it’s just right for foam.

Serve chopped chicken breast cutlets as a side dish or salad. They are equally delicious both hot and cold.

  • We will need:
  • 700-800 g chicken fillet
  • 1 onion
  • 120-150 g hard cheese
  • 2 tbsp. starch or flour
  • 2 testicles
  • salt, pepper, paprika - to taste
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise or sour cream
  • vegetable oil for frying

You won’t surprise anyone with chopped cutlets; almost everyone cooks them. The name of these cutlets may be different, my neighbors call them toads :). Every housewife has her own favorite recipe. Some cook with mayonnaise, others with sour cream, add herbs or chopped vegetables. I like the option with grated cheese. Melted cheese gives the cutlets a special smell and taste. Cheese is also beneficial - it prevents chicken pieces from falling apart.

Tender and juicy chopped chicken cutlets with cheese are in perfect harmony with any side dish or can be eaten as a sandwich with a piece of black bread. Very tasty, try it!

1. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.

2. Add finely chopped onion and grated cheese on a small grater. Mix.

3. Add eggs, salt, pepper, paprika and starch. Mix.

You can add garlic and any seasonings to your taste if desired.

4. Add mayonnaise or sour cream.

5. Stir and put in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.

You don't need to add mayonnaise or sour cream. There is cheese in the cutlet mass, which prevents the cutlets from falling apart during frying.

6. Using a tablespoon, place the prepared minced meat into a hot frying pan with oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Approximately 7-10 minutes on each side.
