Well, let’s move on from desires to action. In the summer season, I quite often cook potatoes with mushrooms, and now I’ll tell you how to cook fried potatoes with pork in a frying pan.

We choose meat with a small amount of fat - loin, brisket, shoulder, ham. The amount of meat is not important here - you can take more, and much less than I had. If the pork is ancient, it will need to be cooked longer without potatoes.

Cut the pork into small pieces. Place in a frying pan with vegetable oil, add salt and pepper and set to fry.

The pork is fried, and we will cut the onions.

Add onion to meat. Stir and continue frying.

The meat and onions are fried, and we will prepare the potatoes for frying. Cut the peeled potatoes into circles, cubes or strips, as you like.

Add potatoes to meat. Stir, cover with a lid and fry over medium heat.

After some time, the potatoes need to be salted and mixed. I always try to twist the potatoes once every time I fry them so that the pieces don’t fall apart. After stirring, cover the potatoes again with a lid and fry until tender over low heat.

Fried potatoes with pork are ready. A beautiful addition when serving will be various pickles that you have prepared for the winter - cucumbers, tomatoes, mushrooms, cabbage, etc.
