Which program to choose depends on the preferences of the housewife.

Sugar is added to the drink according to taste, but you need to keep in mind that dried fruits are most often sweet in themselves. The best amount of sugar for compotes with a multicooker capacity of 3–4 liters is from 4 to 10 tablespoons.

Let's start with the usual compote recipe in the Redmond multicooker. The ingredients you will need to make it are:

  1. Wash the dried fruits and soak in warm water for about half an hour.
  2. Pour water into the multicooker bowl, switch to the “Heating” mode and wait until it boils.
  3. Pour the ingredients into the bowl, set the “Stew” mode and the cooking time - from 40 minutes to an hour. Brew the drink with the lid closed.
  4. When the compote is finished, set the “Heating” mode and leave for about 20 minutes.
  5. Strain, pour the compote into another bowl, cool and put in the refrigerator. It must be drunk within 2 days.

With dried apples, prunes and dried apricots

Another delicious recipe for dried fruit compote in the Redmond multicooker. For production you will need:

  • prunes, dried apricots and dried apples in equal proportions - 150 g each;
  • 4 liters of water or an amount that does not cross the highest line if the multicooker is designed for the smallest amount of water;
  • cinnamon stick or one teaspoon if it is powdered;
  • 2 star anise.
  1. As in the previous recipe, wash the dried fruits and leave them to soak for half an hour in warm water.
  2. Pour water into the multicooker bowl and set it to “Cooking” until it boils.
  3. Place the dried fruits in the multicooker bowl, set the “Stewing” mode and the cooking time to forty minutes.
  4. After half an hour, add cinnamon and anise to the container and leave the compote to cook for the remaining time.
  5. At the end of cooking, set the “Heating” program and its duration – 25 minutes.
  6. Strain and pour the compote; it must be drunk within 36 hours from the date of production.

Rosehip compote

Recipes for dried fruit compotes in the Redmond multicooker include various ingredients. We present for you a recipe based on rose hips. To make the drink you will need:

  • 200 g rose hips;
  • 3 liters of water;
  • sugar (maximum 8 tablespoons), the recipe allows substitution for fructose.
  1. Wash the rose hips and place them in the multicooker bowl.
  2. Add sugar.
  3. Fill with water.
  4. Switch to steam cooking mode and set the cooking time to 15 minutes.

It turns out that the ideal conditions for cooking compote are slow boiling (simmering) and the infusion process.

To prepare dried fruit compote in a slow cooker you need:

  • A mixture of dried fruits or, simply, dried apples – 400 g;
  • Raisins – 1 multi glass;
  • Sugar – 1 multi glass;
  • Water.

Cooking step by step:

To begin, rinse the dried fruits and raisins in a colander under running water.
The quantity and composition of dried fruits is determined by taste preferences and can be easily changed.
Fill the “raw material” with water at room temperature and leave for 20 minutes.

After a while, add water and carefully rinse the dried fruits a couple more times.

Pour everything into a bowl and add sugar.
Its quantity can also be changed to taste.
In addition, different sets of dried fruits require different amounts of sugar. This will have to be found experimentally. For example, you don’t need to add a lot of sugar to apple compote in a slow cooker if the apples are sweet.

Pour water into the bowl (you can use boiling water or cool water) and decide on the cooking mode.

There are two good options:

  • You can use the “Soup” or “Stew” modes. Typically, the duration of these modes is 60 minutes. Boiling in these modes is weak or completely absent, therefore, most of the necessary substances will remain in the compote.
  • Or you can turn on the “Steaming” mode before the compote boils, and then change the mode to “Heating”. “Heating” time is 70-80 minutes. In this case, useful substances are also preserved.

In both cases, in order for the apple compote in the slow cooker to be rich and have a distinctive taste and smell, you should leave it in the oven with the oven turned off, under the lid, for at least 1 hour.
More is possible. Then cool the compote.

We will start making compote in a slow cooker by preparing the goods. Dried fruits should be thoroughly washed, because quite often they are dusty. Dried fruits can not only be washed under running water, but also doused with boiling water. Place peeled dried fruits in a multicooker bowl.

Add dry hibiscus tea leaves to the bowl. Naturally, this is an optional component of the drink, and if this tea is not to your taste, simply do not add it.

Add the required amount of sugar; you can use brown sugar or regular granulated sugar. By the way, you can safely reduce or increase its quantity, depending on how sweet the drink you want in the end.

Pour clean water into the bowl and close the multicooker lid. If the model of your kitchen assistant has a “compote” mode, choose this specifically for brewing a drink. If there is no such program, use the “quenching” key. Both programs are automatic with a duration of 1 hour. The multicooker will turn itself off after the end of the program.

After this, you can give the compote the opportunity to brew on the “heating” program.

  • Boil water and pour it into the multicooker bowl.
  • Lower the lid and start the unit by selecting the program for making first courses (usually called “Soup”). Set the timer for 1.5 hours.
  • After the main program is completed, bring the compote to the desired taste by adding a little more sugar, and leave it to simmer for an hour in heating mode.

If you serve the compote cool, first let it cool to room temperature, then pour it into a decanter or pour it into glasses, and put it in the refrigerator for further cooling.

  • Start the unit by selecting the “Stew” program for 50-60 minutes, depending on the power of your multicooker.
  • After the sound signal, keep the compote for another hour in heating mode.

All that remains is to pour the compote into glasses, cool if desired and serve. The drink prepared according to this recipe is sweet, has a rich taste and brownish color.

Catchy dried fruit compote with hibiscus

  • dried apricots – 100 g;
  • prunes – 100 g;
  • raisins – 100 g;
  • water – 2 l;
  • hibiscus tea – 30 g;
  • sugar – 120-180 g.
  • Rinse dried fruits, steam and pour boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain the warm water and place the fruit in the multicooker bowl.
  • Add sugar and hibiscus tea to the fruit. It will give the compote additional sourness and the most striking color.
  • Boil water, pour in the food in the multicooker bowl, and lower the lid of the device.
  • If your device has a program called “Compote”, launch it and wait for an hour for the multicooker to turn off. If your unit does not have the above program, cook the compote for an hour in the stewing mode.
  • After finishing the main program, simmer the compote for 30-60 minutes in heating mode.
