How to make a pita roll with crab sticks?

A monument needs to be erected to the cook who was the first to invent a wonderful lavash roll with crab sticks. There are a huge number of other recipes, but this one is one of the most delicious and easy to make.

Thanks to this idea, housewives don’t have to rack their brains over what to put on the formal table:

  1. It is enough to combine 2-3 components, which are mixed to taste.
  2. Add a tender and fragrant sauce to these ingredients. Wrap all ingredients in narrow pita bread.

Another option is to create rolls from ready-made salads. This appetizer is not only tasty, but also looks great on the plate. Below are several recipes for such a dish.

Lavash roll with garlic and crab sticks

This is a candidate for crab stick spread. From time to time, snack balls are made from the same composition. You can also cook them from the leftover entrails. But the roll is much simpler, and the result is more effective. For manufacturing you will need the following components:

  • narrow pita bread – 1 pack;
  • crab sticks – 200 g, garlic – 2 cloves;
  • hard cheese – 150 g, eggs – 3–4 pcs.;
  • greens (no matter what) – 1 bunch, mayonnaise.

Step-by-step production:

  1. Grate the cheese on a small grater. While it is crushed, you can boil the eggs. The eggs are boiled hard so that they can be easily crushed. To do this, you need to immerse raw eggs in cool water. Bring to a boil, then cook for 8–10 minutes.
  2. Crab sticks need to be grated on a large grater. To make the process easier, the sticks need to be frozen in advance. Chop the greens with a knife. Squeeze the garlic through a press. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Place a sheet of lavash on the table. Grease it with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with the acquired consistency (spread half the portion). Carefully place the second sheet on top, which is also greased with mayonnaise. And put the remaining salad on top.
  4. Roll the roll tightly, wrap it with film and put it in the refrigerator. Remove from the refrigerator after 2-3 hours. Cut into “pucks” 1.5–2 cm wide. Place perfectly on a plate and garnish with herbs.

The roll is served just before the start of the meal. It is not recommended to create this in advance, because the pita bread will become very soggy.

With crab sticks, cabbage and corn

This is a very beautiful and colorful roll. It turns out surprisingly tasty if certain criteria are met:

  1. Firstly, you need to take very tender corn for it. "Bonduelle" fits perfectly here. Hard corn may be edible in a salad, but not here.
  2. 2nd condition: compliance with all manufacturing rules. The cabbage should be chopped not finely, but very finely. Before combining the ingredients, you need to knead it with your hands so that it becomes very soft. That's probably all the secrets.
  • Armenian lavash – 1 pack;
  • crab sticks – 1.5 packs;
  • white cabbage – 300 g;
  • canned corn - 1 can;
  • mayonnaise, sugar, salt.

The manufacturing stages are as follows:

  1. Chop the cabbage very finely and mash it with your hands, adding a pinch of salt and sugar. Set the bowl aside to allow the salad to finish cooking.
  2. Drain the corn and place it in a sieve. Finely chop the crab sticks. Mix the ingredients.
  3. Add mayonnaise and refrigerate for an hour. Lay out a sheet of pita bread and spread it with a thin layer of the prepared salad.
  4. Place another leaf on top and place the remaining salad on it. Roll the roll, put it in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  5. Before serving, cut like sausage. But the thickness must be at least 1.5 cm, otherwise the salad will fall out.

Lavash rolls with various types of insides are popular not only due to their good taste, but also due to their lightness and simplicity in production. This dish can be served as a cool appetizer on both an everyday and a special occasion. Now I propose to try a lavash roll with crab sticks - it comes out very juicy, tasty and satisfying right away.

All ingredients for this snack dish are completely available and you can prepare the roll in advance, and then cut it into portions and serve. By the way, this is a good snack that you can take with you on a picnic. Treat your friends to a roll of crab sticks while the fragrant kebab is grilling on the grill!

Making a dish step by step:

To make this snack roll, we will take a large narrow pita bread (weighing approximately 250 grams), fresh cucumber, crab sticks, canned corn, chicken eggs and mayonnaise (of course, as always, I advise you to prepare it yourself in a matter of minutes).

First, wash the chicken eggs and set them to boil hard - 9-10 minutes after boiling over low heat. Meanwhile, wash, dry and cut the fresh cucumber into small cubes.

We remove the cooled crab sticks from the packaging and cut them into cubes, just like the cucumber. If your product is frozen, let it thaw completely in the refrigerator.

When the chicken eggs are cooked, they need to be cooled under cool running water, peeled and cut into small cubes. Alternatively, if you wish, you can grind the eggs on a large grater.

Then you can do what you like best. In other words, you can follow my advice or simply mix all the ingredients to make a salad. Season it and spread it on pita bread. I greased the pita bread with mayonnaise - don’t skimp on the sauce so that the finished roll doesn’t end up dry later.

Alternately spread the crushed ingredients in an even layer. It doesn't matter in what sequence. The first thing I got was crab sticks.

Then the canned corn, from which all the liquid must be drained.

Later I laid out small cubes of the freshest cucumber.

And sprinkled with boiled chicken eggs.

All that remains is to tightly roll the pita bread with the entrails into a roll.

In fact, the lavash roll with crab sticks is ready. But he needs to give it time to soak in.

That’s why wrap the roll tightly in cling film or wrap it in foil, and then put it in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

A very ordinary, satisfying and tasty cool snack is ready.
