Salad “Diplomat” with crab sticks and cheese

I offer you a traditional recipe for making Diplomat salad. Despite its serious title, it comes out very light and affectionate. Tomatoes and crab sticks add juiciness to the dish. Crab sticks and cheese make it tender. A few cloves of garlic give the salad a spicy kick. Overall, definitely give this regular salad a try. I am sure that it will become one of your favorite dishes.

Ingredients:

  • crab sticks – 200 g;
  • canned corn – 200 g;
  • tomatoes – 150 g;
  • cheese – 100 g;
  • garlic – 3-4 cloves;
  • mayonnaise – 50 g;
  • greens, pepper, salt to taste.

How to prepare Diplomat salad

We prepare the necessary ingredients. We wash the tomatoes and peel the garlic. Remove the crab sticks from the bags.

Pour the water out of the corn container and pour the grains into a saucer.

Remove the stalk space from the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes.

Grate the cheese on a large grater.

Squeeze the garlic through a press or grate it on a small grater.

Cut the crab sticks into medium-sized cubes.

Place all ingredients in a bowl. Salt and pepper to taste. Add mayonnaise and finely chopped greens. I added a little parsley and dill.

Gently mix the salad so that all ingredients are distributed moderately. Salad “Diplomat” is ready! All that remains is to put the dish in salad bowls.

It is prepared from goods that do not require long-term preparation - these are crab sticks, tomatoes, garlic, cheese and canned corn. All the ingredients were cut, mixed, seasoned with pepper, salt and the salad was dressed with thick mayonnaise, better than homemade.

Thanks to tomatoes and herbs, the appetizer comes out fresh, juicy, garlic adds piquancy and spiciness. You can serve it in a large, deep salad bowl or create a portioned salad in small bowls, as in the proposed recipe with step-by-step photos.

You can take any cheese, but it is better to give preference to hard cheeses with a rich taste - in this combination and design, the salad will turn out delicious, it will look bright and festive.

Ingredients:

  • fresh meaty tomatoes – 5 pcs;
  • canned corn - 4 tbsp. l;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • crab sticks – 100 g;
  • garlic – 2 large cloves;
  • salt - to taste;
  • ground dark pepper – 2 pinches;
  • green onions – 0.5 small bunch;
  • thick mayonnaise - to taste.

How to prepare Diplomat salad

We choose tomatoes that are dense and fleshy. You can replace ordinary tomatoes with small cherry tomatoes (you need to take 10-15 of them) - in winter they are not so liquid and are better suited for salads. We cut the tomatoes into small pieces, cutting out the space where the branch attaches. We send it to the deepest salad bowl, in which it will be comfortable to stir everything.

Place the corn on a sieve and let the filling drain. Then add to the tomatoes.

Cut the crab sticks into thin rounds and add to the tomatoes and corn. If the sticks are frozen, leave them to thaw after cutting.

We collect the feathers of green onions in a bunch and pour them over with cool water. Wrap in a towel and squeeze lightly. Then we cut into rings. The snow-white part can also be used, but keep in mind that the salad will be spicier.

Grind two cloves of garlic through a small grater, grind in a mortar or press through a press. Add garlic to the salad along with ground pepper and salt.

After mixing, season the salad with thick mayonnaise. The quantity is at your discretion, prepare the salad so that you like it.

After mixing, try the salad and adjust the taste. Place the salad in bowls or leave it in a large salad bowl. There is no need to infuse the salad; if you leave it for a long time after cutting, the tomatoes will lose their freshness and become soft and liquid. Sprinkle with cheese, grated on a small or large grater and serve immediately.

An ordinary, but very tasty salad. The Diplomat will be able to vary any menu.
There are several options, but I offer a traditional recipe with crab sticks. The taste of the salad will amaze you from the first spoon. There is a minimum of goods, but their combination does not leave anyone indifferent. Garlic adds piquancy, and tomato brings notes of freshness.
Playful and easy to make. Gourmets will be satisfied and guests will be well-fed.

Products:
– tomatoes – 3 pcs.;
– canned corn – 1 can;
– hard cheese – 150 g;
– crab sticks – 240 g;
– garlic – 2 cloves;
– mayonnaise – 100g;
– greens – 1 bunch;
– salt, pepper – to taste.

We wash the tomatoes under running water, cut out the tails, cube them and place them in a bowl.


Cut previously defrosted sticks or crab meat into small pieces and place in a cup. Pay attention to the manufacturer of crab sticks. Take only a high-quality product, otherwise it may spoil the taste of the finished salad.

Then grate the cheese on a small grater and add to the rest of the ingredients.

Open the corn, drain the water from the jar and place it with the chopped products.

Chop the greens and also put them in a bowl.

Peel the garlic and squeeze it through a press into a cup with the rest of the ingredients.

Add seasonings, salt and pepper.
Season the prepared mixture with mayonnaise and mix everything well.

Place in a salad bowl and decorate with sprigs of herbs on top.
Can also be served in portions with grated cheese on top.
