Pancakes in a bottle with milk; 4 recipes for thin pancakes with holes from a bottle
Pancakes in a bottle with milk - 4 recipes for thin pancakes with holes from a bottle
Almost all of you have probably heard that when baking pancakes, you can use an ordinary plastic bottle to prepare traditional pancakes with milk.
Almost everyone has heard, but not everyone dares to try it, thinking that it is difficult. In fact, everything is exactly the opposite. This method allows you to solve two problems right away: save a lot of time on washing dishes, which necessarily accumulates during the cooking process, and bake not ordinary round pieces, but thin and delicate works of art that your friends and acquaintances will certainly appreciate.
I would like to offer you several manufacturing options now, so that you can see for yourself how simple and straightforward it is.
It’s just important to remember that the dough in a bottle can be prepared for pancakes using milk or water without yeast. Because the yeast forms bubbles and your bottle will simply burst. No, it won’t burst, but I would be afraid to open it after the dough has settled.
Content:
By the way, if you cook with kefir, it is better not to add soda, this also causes abundant formation of bubbles.
Pancakes in a milk bottle are thin and have holes
Let's start with the usual kneading of the dough in a separate bowl and then pouring it into a bottle so that you can clearly see how many goods you need to take and how much to pour into it.
https://youtu.be/iCG3hpoMryk
We will need:
- 2 testicles
- 100 g sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1.5 cups flour
- 100 ml vegetable oil
- 1.5 liter plastic bottle
Manufacturing:
1. Pour the milk into a deep bowl and break the eggs into it.
2. Next we add salt, sugar and vegetable oil.
3. Then we begin to add flour evenly and beat the dough with a mixer or whisk.
You may need a little more or a little less flour. This depends on almost all factors, even such as the size of the eggs and the moisture content of the flour.
The main thing is that the dough comes out slightly viscous and flowing, like liquid sour cream.
4. Now we will need a funnel. Using it, carefully pour the dough into a clean plastic bottle. It will be filled a little more than two-thirds.
After that, put the bottle in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
By the way, this dough can be stored in the refrigerator for a whole week, so you don’t have to cook a huge batch of pancakes right away.
5. Taking the dough out of the refrigerator, you can see that it has separated - the languid part has settled, and vegetable oil is floating on top. This is how it should be. Just shake the bottle to mix everything again.
6. Bake pancakes in a hot frying pan over medium heat without adding oil.
Pour the dough into the pan in a narrow stream straight from the bottle. We move it back and forth so that the dough spreads moderately.
7. Bake as usual on both sides for a couple of minutes on each side. Turn over when the edges of the dough are already dry. The pancakes turn over easily and do not tear at all.
If the dough is left and you have already prepared enough, as I already said, the bottle can be put back in the refrigerator and stored for another week.
1 bottle yields about 25-30 pancakes with a frying pan size of 24 cm.
Pancakes in a bottle with milk and water
But with this method you can knead the dough right away in a bottle, without dirtying unnecessary dishes and saving time, for which, in fact, everything was started. Water is needed for the highest quality mixing of ingredients, because... it will be performed by simply shaking the bottle.

Ingredients:
- 1 liter of milk
- 100 ml water
- 2 testicles
- Flour - 10 tbsp.
- Sugar - 6 tsp.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Manufacturing:
1. Making the dough comes down to pouring and pouring all the goods into the bottle through a funnel. For dry ingredients, by the way, it is better to use not plastic, but an ordinary sheet of paper rolled into a tube. You can press it from the sides and the flour and sugar will jump faster.
The order in which goods are added does not matter; they will all be mixed anyway.
2. When all the ingredients are inside, screw on the cap and shake the bottle vigorously. Shake it until the mixture in the bottle becomes homogeneous and without visible lumps.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes, then shake it once and you can start cooking.
3. Heat the frying pan well over medium heat and grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil. Pour the dough into the pan with radial movements so that it is immediately distributed moderately, and fry for a couple of minutes on each side.
If not all the dough is used up, you can store it in the refrigerator for another week and use it as needed.
Recipe for pancakes with milk without eggs
In general, this recipe is not much different from the previous ones and I don’t want to waste time repeating the sequence of the same actions. You can knead the dough either in a separate bowl and then pour it into a bottle, or immediately into it.

Just for contrast, I will give the amount of ingredients for a 1 liter bottle for the smallest portion.
- Flour – 300 g
- Milk – 500 m
- Sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. spoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Butter – 50 g (for greasing ready-made pancakes)
From this quantity of goods you can cook 15 pancakes in a frying pan measuring 24 centimeters.
Video on how to make lacy pancakes from a bottle
Well, this recipe is a must-see. The whole process cannot be explained in words. If instead of a bottle you take, for example, a plastic jar of ketchup or mayonnaise, you can draw the dough directly in the frying pan. The result is perfect openwork pancakes.
You see, everything is quite simple. This cooking method is even simpler than the usual one with pouring the dough from a ladle.
In this case, the dough can be made with a very different base: sour milk, sour milk, drink or just water. The main thing is that it is yeast-free and without slaked soda.
Pancakes with milk, in a bottle
Maslenitsa is just around the corner, and I would like to share a very ordinary pancake recipe. More precisely, this is no longer a recipe, but a manufacturing method, so, in fact, I will cook pancakes with milk, according to the traditional recipe, but I will create it using an ordinary plastic bottle. “Pancakes in a bottle” is a manufacturing method that, in my opinion, greatly simplifies and speeds up the making of pancakes.

How to cook pancakes in a bottle:
Take a clean plastic bottle with a volume of at least 1.5 liters. Place a funnel in the bottle. You may try to do without a funnel, but with a funnel everything will be much easier.
Place sugar, salt and flour in a bottle.
Let's move on to the watery ingredients.
Place vegetable oil in a bottle. Break the eggs into a separate glass, stir with a fork until smooth and only later pour into the bottle. Add milk. Close the bottle with a lid and shake its contents for several minutes to achieve a homogeneous pancake batter.
Let's move on to frying pancakes. Before the first pancake, grease the pan with vegetable oil. Pour the dough into a hot frying pan directly from the bottle and distribute it moderately over the entire surface. When the dough becomes matte, this is the first sign that it’s time to roll the pancake. On average, when frying thin pancakes, it takes about 20 seconds per side.
The ingredients presented in this recipe are enough for an average of 15 thin pancakes.
After the pancakes are ready, I recommend serving them hot. Bon appetit!

Pancakes in a bottle
Pancakes in a bottle. Usually I have a hard time getting myself into the mood for pancakes, but this fascinating idea from the Internet (Quote Book DomPek_Knitting. A huge THANK YOU to the Creator!) will now firmly take root in my kitchen! It’s very convenient, because having the dough in a bottle, you can put it in the refrigerator and bake pancakes as needed! *I would like to clarify - on the advice of a 5th grade chef - you don’t have to fry all the dough at once, put the bottle of dough in the refrigerator and prepare delicious hot pancakes for breakfast in the morning. Naturally, do not keep the dough for several days.

- Milk – 600 ml
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
- Chicken egg - 2 pcs
- Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.

Recipe for “Pancakes in a Bottle”:
We take a washed 1.5-liter bottle of mineral water (or any drink).
Insert a funnel into the bottle and add flour,
Pour in eggs, vegetable oil,
Milk and screw on the lid.
Apart from the idea itself, I also liked the description of the recipe from the creator!
Here, verbatim: - And for now, dancing with a jump and shaking a bottle. It’s very convenient to mix the dough in the bottle!
Place the frying pan on the fire, heat it up and add a few drops of vegetable oil.
Pour the batter out of the bottle, pour the batter into the pan and bake pancakes!
Ready hot pancake!
And this is an empty bottle.
I found it much easier to pour the batter into the pan from a bottle than from a ladle.
In addition, everything around was clean, no drops flowing from the ladle!
All pancakes are ready
Rolling pancakes into envelopes
My comments:
maybe I didn’t mix the dough in the bottle well enough, maybe I should have sifted the flour or added watery products to the bottle first, and then loose ones - I still had lumps in the dough. But everything was fixable: I poured the dough through a strainer into the bowl where I measured the milk, and dealt with the lumps in 1 second. Then I poured the dough into the bottle through the funnel again! I didn’t have any more dirty dishes, just a strainer – but that’s not a problem!
Bon appetit everyone!
All the best!
