  • Sweet bell peppers – 7-10 pieces,
  • Garlic cloves from 1-2 heads,
  • Sweet sand – 1 glass,
  • Salt – 1 tbsp. l.

In the process of making lecho, prepare sterile jars and lids. You can sterilize them over steam over a kettle, in the oven, or in the microwave. It is better to boil the lids in water for 3-5 minutes. Cover sterile jars with boiled lids.

Let's proceed directly to the production of our workpiece.

  • We carefully wash the vegetables, cut the tomatoes into pieces, remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into slices, peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  • Place half the tomatoes, all the peppers, and garlic into a saucepan or small bowl and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Then add the remaining tomatoes, salt, sugar and boil for another 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 - 5 tbsp. spoons of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of salt

Making the recipe:

Pass the washed tomatoes and cloves of garlic through a meat grinder. Peel the peppers, rinse and cut into strips.

Add sugar and salt to the rolled tomato mass.

We lower strips of pepper onto the tomatoes.

Mix thoroughly and put on the fire and cook for 40 minutes over low heat.

When ready, pour the lecho into clean, sterilized containers.

Apply the mixture to the top of the container.

We close the jars with lids and wrap them up (make a fur coat) until they cool.

The recipe is complete. We got 6 cans of 500 grams and one can of 700 grams.
